Love this place and, if they have a studio apartment available in March, I will definitely take it.

[Removed] was very helpful and personable. She was thoughtful enough to give us a small, appropriate gift. The facility was clean and welcoming, and the rates seem more or less in line with other comparable facilities. We enjoyed the visit, but are not ready to commit to anyone just yet.

Everything about The Parkway is the best we have been able to find. The people there are extremely helpful and accommodating, the community is clean, and they have excellent food. They have chefs, so the residents can pretty much eat whatever they wish whenever they'd like. They also have a lot of activities. Each day, there are things going on for the residents, so it seems like a very lively community. The Parkway is really the best place we've seen, and I would absolutely recommend it to other families.

We toured at The Boulevard, and my loved one liked it immediately. It's excellent. The community is brand new, and the people there are really nice. I love that the community is so clean and that they have a chef there, so the food is always good. My loved one enjoys the happy hour they have on Fridays, and she's excited to begin her new knitting group in January.

I’m very happy with this place and the care they provide. The flu has been going around and once a few residents got it, the facility shut down the dining area and started serving the food to the residents’ rooms to keep from everyone congregating and getting sick. I think that was a good decision on their part. There were a few times where I wasn’t able to get in touch with my Mom and the director, [Removed], personally went to her room to check on her. To me, that says a lot. Everybody works together to make sure everything runs efficiently. Every member of staff, from the housekeepers to the director, is very involved. They aren’t just hired help, they’re like family. Part of the rent the residents pay includes a bus that will take everyone into town for shopping or to doctors’ appointments. It really helps everyone continue to feel independent. Housekeeping comes by and does a light cleaning once a week and a heavier cleaning every 2 weeks, including removing and washing the linens and sheets and then placing them back on the bed. The facility does some really great things for new residents as well. They’ll assign 2 people (typically a husband and wife) to the new resident that act as ambassadors. And for the first month, anyone in the family can eat with the resident for free, and then the rest of the time it’s $6. They really encourage family members to come and have a meal with their loved ones so they can feel comfortable about them being there. The dining area looks like a restaurant, not like a nursing home, and they serve the food like a restaurant as well, with a wait staff and everything. If the staff doesn’t know the answer to something, they’ll find out for you instead of just passing you around. Anything I’ve asked, they’ve jumped right on it. To live here, the residents have to be pretty independent and are responsible for remembering to take their medications (I set up a system of alarms on my Mom’s phone so she wouldn’t forget). The rent also includes emergency buttons that contact members of staff (if an ambulance isn’t needed), which saves on medical bills. They’re very accommodating and I highly recommend them.

I helped my friend find this community and it is such a good fit for her. The staff is great we love them. The atmosphere is warm and homey feeling. The food is great. And they will always have snacks out if they want to snack. They go into her apartment 1x weekly to clean up and it never smells in this community. She enjoys the daily activities like bingo or a bus ride. She gets her hair done in the salon there. There is a grill outside if they want to use it. The apartments are spacious and they have little balconies. I would recommend this to people.

After speaking with [Removed] we were able to find Mallard Point in Cedar Falls, IA. Our Mom loves her new home. She has 3 nutritious meals a day and is interacting with the other residents there. The staff is wonderful! It has made Mom's transition from her home of 60 years to a new chapter in her life and new friends.

Journey has been a great experience for us so far. I like that it’s only six blocks from home, so I’m able to visit often. I also love the staff there. There is a 4 to 1 resident to caregiver ratio, so they are able to spend a lot of time with the residents. They are so kind, and they are always willing and ready to help. It’s a brand new facility, one of about five new ones built in our area in the past year, but I would definitely recommend it to others.

I have lived in the Gardens for about two months now, and I knew right away it was the place for me. I have the freedom here to do as I wish, be independent, but I also have the ability to have a lot more done for me. I feel much more relaxed, I have much less to worry about, and I feel safe here. Right away, the staff responded to my needs and were quite pleasant. I’m also quite pleased with the food and the many options they offer. I also appreciate that the chef has a meeting once a month, which the residents can attend, and he listens to any suggestions that we might have. So far, he seems to take the suggestions very well, and works hard to make the changes. I am so glad that I chose to live here, and I would absolutely recommend The Gardens to others.

My loved one is still adjusting to living at this community. The staff have been helpful and friendly. They offer a lot of activities. The food is good and they cook to order from a menu. This is a new gorgeous community and I would recommend it.

This is a very nice community, everyone from the staff to the residents is very open and friendly. My wife likes her room and I like seeing the progress she has made being here. She likes taking part in the activities. I even joined her in the dining room one evening where we enjoyed visiting with the other residents during dinner and the food was very good. there is a nice courtyard out back and a small swimming pool as well.

I was impressed when I had my tour and I asked a friend who is a nurse and she was impressed with the staff level of care, they seemed experienced. I am happy with the care they provide for my husband and I think they are doing a great job. They are close to me which is easy for me to get to. They offer activities but he does not participate. I had lunch with him and the spaghetti and meatballs were good. They offer different choices of meals with alternatives if it is needed.

This is a fabulous community, and I'am very pleased with my move here. Everything has worked out very well, and I'am satisfied with everything they have done for me. I have not met one staff member who isn't amazing. They are very kind, and have been very helpful whenever needed. They do a great job with the cleanliness around the community, everything always looks great. The meals are very good, and there are lovely activities, and outings available. This is a community I would recommend to anybody, it is a wonderful place to live.

My mom loves her 1 bedroom on the bottom floor, it has a nice patio that faces the garden area and she is starting to feel right at home. She is also starting to take part in a lot of the great activities and the field trips they offer as well. She also likes going to the dining room and the food. They have a Sunday church service and sing alongs that my mom likes to go to. Mom knew when we did our tour here that this was the one for her.

Moving mom here was the best thing we could have done for her. I feel so much more at peace knowing that she is in a safe environment with people around her and her life alert I don't have to worry about leaving her alone to go out of town. She loves living here it's been so good for her. She loves to interact with people and playing bingo and going to all the events they hold. They have people come in to do live music. Mom has gone to the onsite beautician and she really likes her she does a good job. Mom said the food is ok could be better. But the staff they are wonderful so nice and happy. I couldn't ask for anything better.

My mother is doing wonderful since her move to this community. The location is close to all her familiar areas. I know she is in great hands, and in a safe facility. They have a lovely staff, and they are always kind, and friendly when I visit. She stays busy with all the activities they offer. The community is well-kept, they do a good job with the cleanliness. The dining experience is great. I looked into other community's, but this was the perfect fit for my mother. It is a community I would highly recommend.

The Parkway Senior living is a pretty cool place. Mom is acclimating well and starting to make new friends. The community is very clean and well kept. The staff is really nice and friendly. Mom enjoys the food they provide. She loves that it is restaurant style, with menus that change daily for lunch and dinner choices. We are going to eat with her tonite. Here at this community they offer independent and assisted living, mom is in assisted living. They offer a lot of activities, movie night, Bingo, they even have a therapy pool. Mom participates in physical therapy and my sister helps my mom work out in the therapy pool which is great for her arthritis. The community has beautiful gardens, walkways, and terraces to enjoy the outdoors. My wife and I knew right away this was the perfect place for mom. I have already recommended The Parkway Senior Living to others.

My dad is doing okay since moving into the community. The cost and location was best for my dad. The meals are excellent and he says it is very nice and he is happy.

I feel this is the perfect fit for my friend, and her needs. She is doing well, and everything is working out great. This is a lovely community, and I'am pleased with all they have done for her. The community is well-kept, everything is nice, and well maintained. She is having a good experience since her move to this community, and I would recommend it.
