True Connection Communities

Even with a major renovation project going on, the place was still clean and relatively quiet. Our guide was energetic, well-informed, and gave us materials that had adequate information for decision-making. We observed residents and staff as we toured the common areas and walked hallways. ALL OF THEM seemed to be happy in what they were doing and friendly with one another. Only beverages were offered, even though our tour was scheduled to begin at 11:30 am. It seemed a bit unusual that we assumed a meal, and they did not. The visits to a few available living spaces required walking long distances down hallways. Everything seemed to be far away from where we were, especially when things like the library, or other common areas seemed to be on "the other side" of the complex. Most residents could get quite a bit of exercise walking within the complex itself. The kitchens were fully furnished; the baths had a variety of accessibility. The grounds are lovely, the location is central to both our downtown area and midtown shopping and restaurants. I would be very comfortable there, but would need to schedule my activities carefully to avoid extensive walking.

My mother was a resident at Arbor Square for 4 years. The campus and facility was always kept pristine and updated. The most important aspect, however, was the care and friendliness of the staff. From the Executive Director to the Maintenance Team, they ALWAYS were warm and friendly. My mother loved the employees and they showed genuine concern for her safety and well-being. I would recommend Arbor Square to anyone looking for an independent living experience.

I have lived here in Meadowstone Place for 2 1/2 years. I loved it from the first visit and still do. The staff is so personable and caring. They go out of their way to help us. And they are very patient. There are many things to do for activities. If it's a nice day you can walk if you need – you can stroll the gardens and enjoy being outside. The food is delicious and our chefs care for all of us and try to please our taste buds. After my husband passed a few months ago, everyone was so helpful and caring. This is my home!

As a resident of middle stone for the past two years, I can readily say that this is one of the best decisions I have ever made. The staff is caring, confident, and efficient. The grounds are lovely and well-maintained. Food is good with varied menus with amble servings to please all. There are many interesting and well-managed activities with staff who work very hard to appeal to varied tastes and interests. I feel very comfortable and secure here. As my daughter says as she drives in the gate for a visit: this place has a nice “feel”. And indeed it does.

My love one lives of this community. I live overseas and if it weren't for Meadowstone Place, I would worry constantly about my mother. She not only as happy in Meadowstone, she thrives there. She participates in mini planned activities and is a member of Pins and Needle's, a sewing group. The staff genuinely cares about her and they provide good communication to me. They help her stay in communication with me on social media and via telephone apps. She started getting her meals at Meadows down and I rest for sure that she is making healthy eating choices. She has many friends and is a friend to many. I am so grateful that she gets to live her aged years at this loving facility.

My mother has lived at Meadowstone for almost 6 years. Her move was quite a transition for her, but she has been very comfortable in her apartment and the staff has been very attentive to her needs. We appreciate greatly the extra attention the staff gives to their residents as it gives families peace of mind.

I have lived here over five years. We have the best staff in all the world. They will do anything with in their power to help you in anyway.

I have lived here nearly 10 years and would not think of leaving. This has become my second family. I enjoy my fellow residents. While staff members have changed over the years, the quality and interest shown by all staff members remains the same - high and caring.

Meadowstone Place is my home – it is a godsend for me. I am happy and content and so thankful.

Physical amenities are many! Landscaping, activities, outings, delicious meals, clubhouse, library, and programs. Maintenance is superb. More important to me, though, or the intangibles – staff interactions with each other and residents, resident interactions with each other – are in imbued with mutual respect, understanding, and positive feelings. People here are genuinely happy and content. I'm glad I live here!

After living in Florida it on my own for over 30 years – I had to move for health reasons to be near my family. My daughter found Meadowstone Place which I am very grateful for. Everyone here made me feel so welcome - anything I needed they were there. Since I don't drive anymore and my daughter has other responsibilities, the staff is always there to get what I need. This is the best place ever.

More activities here at the age of 87, then I have ever had at any time in my life. Was on site volunteering at Meadowstone and they gave me an opportunity to feel needed and able to remain active.
