I cannot say enough about the wonderful experience my dad and I have had at Arbour Square. The entire team has been involved personally with my dad since the time he moved in, and they go above and beyond what I could have ever expected. [Name removed], the Executive Director, and [name removed], his case manager, have helped my father and me on several occasions with coordinating changes in his care. My dad loves the activities and enjoys interacting with the staff. The maintenance department is great. My dad loves the food, and enjoys talking with the chefs. The community is beautiful! Our experience has been nothing less than amazing, and I have complete peace of my mind that my dad is safe in his home.

Our Mom was a resident in independent living at Arbour Square for 4 years. During that time we met many of the staff at Arbour Square – [name removed] and her staff are all very professional with a refreshingly high level of caring and concern for each resident. Mom enjoyed living there in a spacious apartment with many friendly and caring neighbors. Knowing that our mom was in such a caring environment gave us great peace of mind for the times when we could not be there with her. I was even more impressed by the level of thoughtfulness and kindness that the staff provided to my mom as she struggled more and more with her memory. If you are looking for an exceptional place for independent living with first rate employees, I highly recommend you check out Arbour Square.

I visited Meadowplace and was very impressed. The establishment itself is older but has been kept up well. I even noticed where the Meadowplace had been recognized as the best place for Senior living by SeniorAdvisor. The apartment were at one time were actually condo’s so they have more space than places like the [removed]. Pricing more affordable and not far from downtown so, commute into town wouldn’t be as bad. Possibility. But will still continue to look

Dad moved into Arbour Square in October 2017 after living in a similar community in Florida. He felt the management was top-notch and very attentive to any concerns the residents had. He was also impressed with the physical therapy staff, who motivated him to do his best during therapy sessions. I visited him frequently, and every employee I saw during visits seemed happy to be there and was very willing to address any questions or concerns I had. The number and breadth of activities offered at Arbour Square is amazing. There is something for everyone. Occasionally I would join Dad in an activity that we both enjoyed. I would highly recommend Arbour Square to anyone looking for the carefree lifestyle that Arbour Square offers.

Nice, well maintained, friendly staff and residents. Lovely landscaping and mature trees. However, a bit spread out. Lack of covered walkways to get around the property for meals or activities could be an issue when the weather leans to either extreme. But mom loves the plentiful closets in the floor plan she liked best.

Arbour Square is truly an amazing community! Their staff and residents really are the "Village" required to care for a loved one. The facilities are clean, cheerful, and resident and visitor friendly! The many sunny, common spaces where time can be shared, as well as the public restrooms on each resident floor are fabulous! My mom and all of our family would not have mom anywhere else....as a matter of fact, mom wanted to move back to Florida, which is where her heart was calling her, but after 2 quick months, we realized that Arbour Square was really her home! They bent over backwards to accommodate her return. They told her when she left, that she was welcome back anytime!! And now that is happening!! There is no where like Arbour Square!!!

My mother moved into Pine Ridge of Garfield back in February 2018. She loves it! All the activities & things to do keeps she busy and focused. The staff is very helpful & friendly, and always there for her needs. The food is great and she loves the variety. She also enjoys the outside activities that are planned by the staff. My mother says that she feels like its her home & that make my siblings & I comfortable knowing that she is in a safe, friendly & happy environment. My brother and I moved our mom to Arbour Square in July of 2017. At first she was hesitant to leave her home but after settling in she very much enjoys life there. [name removed] and the rest of the staff are terrific! very friendly and caring. She has met some dear friends and enjoys time in the dining room ( the food is wonderful, I sometimes join her for dinner) Best of all, there is always something happening many interesting activities and very nicely planned special events. She is happy, social and busy. I look forward to visiting her at AS and always feel welcome. There is a good feeling when you walk in and spend time there. We are very happy that she is there!

My mother has been at Arbour Square since May 2017. She was understandably hesitant, but has transitioned so well thanks to the staff and residents at AS. It is one big family! She is so much more social, stimulated, and involved in life than she has been for a few years. She also eating amazingly well and has a wonderful apartment with natural light and all the amenities. In addition, having physical therapy onsite is beyond wonderful. As a result, her health has improved. But AS does even more - they helped me and my family during the most recent storm where we lost power. Setting us up in one of their B&B rooms without hesitation. I can't say enough about how generous, kind, and thoughtful the staff is at AS. They genuinely care about their residents and treat them like family. We feel very lucky to have found it.

My mom and dad just moved into Arbour Square. From the first time we visited Arbour Square the staff has been so helpful, kind and caring. They take time to know the residents by their names and what they need and prefer. The family has visited mom and dad. The dining staff made all of us feel very welcome. Nothing is to much trouble. The dining staff even took time to make sure that the young great grandchildren where taking care of. The family is looking forward to many visits with mom mom and grandad. It is comforting to know that they are happy, busy and content in their new home.

Excellent in every way from the staff to the residents! I can see why Verena I’d full with a waiting list - beautiful, clean, light-filled. I’d recommend to anyone settling in Williamsburg.

I ended up picking this facility for my Grandmother because the location is convenient for me. She is usually a timid person but she’s met a lot of new people here and she is starting to have some new adventures. For activities they have things like mass services, movie night, and they even have an in-house physical therapist. The food here is good and I’ve even had a chance to try it on many occasions. I would absolutely recommend this facility to other families.

If anyone is looking for an independent living, retirement community; do not look past Arbour square of Harleysville. My Mom lived there for 31 months until she decided she needed a little hire level of care. Reluctantly moving there after 53 years of home ownership she quickly adjusted. The residents and the staff played the biggest part. She quickly made friends. My brother and I were always commenting how nice everyone was. It would be unfair to single out any one staff member because all where great to my Mom, however I would like you to know there is truly some exceptional people, from maintenance to culinary to housekeeping. My Mom thrived there because of them, and I thank them. The people at Arbour are what what make it, but I would like to comment on the amenities. The place is so clean and bright. There was always something to do if my Mom chose to do so. I liked visiting her and shooting pool off the dinning area. One time I was there with my family and my granddaughter asked; if her and mommy could get an apartment there. She was serious; I thought to my self, this would be nice for my wife and me when the time comes.

My friend moved into this independent living community. It was like a palace. It stayed clean. The food was good. They did try to engage her to join in the daily activities. She was only here for about 3 wks and her memory was worse that we knew so she needed assisted living.

[Removed] was great very friendly. Answered all questions and put my mother at ease.

I would highly recommend Pine Ridge of Plumbrook. The apartments are very nice and the staff very friendly. Lots of activities and entertainment. The food is very good and included in the price. My mother is very happy to be at Pineridge.

I toured this location and was very impressed! It is very well kept, the food looked good, and the rooms are spacious and have nice views. They have a great activities director and it seems there's always something fun going on in the building. I would recommend this location.

Beautiful facility! Everyone was very nice. I was impressed how much of an effort was made to make everyone feel welcome.
