Transforming Age

Every since my mother moved into this community, my favorite words to hear are " I'm busy, bye" because I know she is enjoying herself! She loves the jigsaw puzzles, the social activities, outings and coffee in the mornings. The meals are fabulous, the apartment she is in is small but perfect for her. The place is always clean and fresh, very welcoming. They really pay attention to detail. When we went for our tour, the residents would come up to us and tell us how happy they are.

Such a challenge to find the perfect place for your Parent! We were very much impressed by Tradition. The apartment we chose has a balcony which is unheard of in assisted living. Fresh air when the weather permits. Talk about convenience, I was so happy to see the laundry room right in her apartment. Tradition has a fabulous chef and I hear nothing but praise regarding the food that is served there. My Mom feels like she is going to a five star restaurant at every meal. We never have to worry about decisions we need to make as there is competent advice at every turn. Out in the community I hear nothing but positive remarks regarding Tradition. Yes, I know we made the right decision in choosing Tradition! I highly recommend this fabulous place

This is a very nice community. Residents are out and doing things. The staff is friendly and helpful and knowledgeable. It just was a little far and expensive.

I have a friend that lives here and she recommend this place to us. We really enjoyed the tour and the community. We thought that it was great and we really liked the layout. The community was easy for residents to be able to get around. The staff talked to the people by there first names and was very helpful. The reason we did not go here was the price.

The staff are helpful and there to answer questions. We liked this community as it is smaller than others we looked at. The food is excellent. They have tons of activities and outings including going to church. I would recommend this community, however you have to be able to afford to live in these places. There are nurses available and her doctor is close by.

This is a really nice facility and the tour went good. I saw good interaction with the residents. It is a clean facility. All the staff were highly knowledgeable to give me answers and valuable information about the community. This was too far from our home and not within a good proximity.

The Timbers has wonderful staff that communicate very well with families and its residents. At the moment my friend feels that the meals are good but the portions are very small. He has used the communities shuttle services, but has not engaged in other activities at the moment. I would recommend this community to friends and family they have attentive staff and great services.

Tradition had been our home for 2 1/2 years and I can't imagine living anywhere else. The staff is friendly and very helpful. There is always something going on so you are never lonely. Food is great and they go out of their way if you have any dietary restrictions. One of my favorite amenities is a washer and dryer in each apartment.

I went to Waterford Manor for my parents and very much enjoyed the facility. I liked the setup and talked to several nice people. The New Director Rudolf is taking the place in a new direction.

The community is very secure and comfortable. All of the staff and residents are very friendly. They offer a variety of activities that other residents really seem to enjoy. They have outings, family potlucks, tai chi, and many more. It is a family friendly community where family members can easily visit and spend time with loved ones. A Place for Mom is a very good resource!

My Mom utilizes the beautiful walking trails every day. Apartments are very spacious and the facility has multiple wonderful spots to sit and visit or read. I am very happy we chose The Rivers for my Mom.

Really like this place. Appears to have roomy apartments and a lot of amenities. Would move here if price is reasonable. Contacted. Price is $1500 to $2000 per months for the 2 BR. Would like The Oak. The Oak is $1900 a month plus garage and meals are NOT included. Way to high.

I am thrilled we found this senior apartment for mom. Everyone there; staff and residents, are so very nice. The apartments are very quiet, there are many activities to partake in, and the chef has been excellent and very accommodating to mom's gluten free and diary free diet. She is very happy we found this new home for her !!

i moved in on 7/6/16. My new home is on the third floor via the elevator and a back view which I don't mind. My home is quiet which I do want. Moving makes for walking a lot which I don't mind too much. Exercise is always good. Residents are very friendly and say hello to you. Looking forward to doing activities. Can take shopping van with group or go shopping alone. Very friendly staff. Very exceptional place to live I think for what I am looking for. Price is in my budget. Calendar is at table by each elevator that has month's activities and you look under your apartment numer for correspondence from office. Large bulletin board lists everything going on with other ads for Seniors. Great place to live and many activities.

We reviewed numerous senior living apartments in the NW suburban area to assess the amenities and visited many that we had reviewed. We wanted to chose a place for Mom that not only offered great amenities, affordable care and comfortable living space but more importantly to us, a loving and caring staff. We know that those who work in the senior care industry are very special people who not only are doing their jobs but they all really care for the seniors entrusted to their care. We found that the staff at Tradition seemed to be above the rest! As a family, we all felt that there was something extra special about the Tradition staff and the care and concern that we observed during our visits from ALL staff members. Our Mom enjoyed living there, felt safe and liked everyone there. The food is exceptional! The dining room staff treated their guests as you would expect at a top rated restaurant. Our family only has wonderful things to say about Tradition! We highly reccommend it for any senior.

The staff at Tradition is excellent - in fact, I always wonder where they find such good ones. The apartments are very adequate. Perhaps we could get fewer options at dinner and have the price more reasonable. The meals are very good. I have been here three years and hope to stay a while longer.

Great place! Very nice atmosphere. Very friendly staff. Mike was extremely helpful and nice. Food is good. Feel very comfortable and safe here.

This is a very good community and my mother is finally getting adjusted to it. The community looks great, everything is nice and clean. My mother has a small dog, so they do allow small pets. The staff has been great, they are very helpful and kind. When we first move into the community everyone came and introduced themselves. The meals are very nice and she has made some new friends, that was important to me. I would highly recommend this community because it is small and not so overwhelming.

They have been very helpful and good about asking questions, and getting things taken care of once we got moved in. The food is actually quite good, and they have live entertainment, and she thinks that is good. She participates in the activities. The staff are very nice and helpful. It was more of an apartment/hotel kind of feel. I would give them a five so far, they have been very good.

We've had a very positive experience so far with Waterford Manor. The facility is clean and well kept, and all of the staff I've met have been very friendly and professional. My loved one is in their memory care unit, and I've been particularly impressed with the activities program. The activities director does a great job keeping everyone engaged and entertained!
