Waterford Manor is the best place for my parents! We recently moved my parents into this community, and I must say it is hands down the best around. The staff are respectful, appreciative, approachable and bring a wonderful sense of homey-ness. Thank you all for all you do!!!

My grandmother is currently residing in the new memory care unit. She definitely needs to be in a secure unit, but her dementia isn't as advanced as most of the other residents in all the other memory care units we looked at. But at The Rivers, they noticed this and so they created a second momory care unit for people that are still in the early stages of alzheimers but need the security of a locked unit. It is so nice for Nana to have others in the same boat as her and its esp nice my Nana has others to talk to, or do activities with, or even just not feel like she's being punished and locked in a unit with people that are constantly reminding her of what she has to look forward to with this awful disease. I think she has a much more positive attitude and has had less behaviors. SHe's sleeping and eating better and I think she's happier than I have seen her in years. And we owe it all to The Rivers! They actually care a lot about their tenants and are constantly trying to make a difference in their lives. You can tell that they are not just in it for the money but they have a passion for what they do. I would definitely recommend ANYONE looking for senior living or memory care to go check out this amazing facility and if they don't offer something you really wanted, you can ask and they will probably work on getting it for you. They have been so helpful to Nana and all our family. They really are a Godsend.

I love this place! It has so many activities and is close to the doctor and shopping. They also have a Methodist church nearby.

Very nice - strong community

Very good tours - saw many units in the facility. [name removed] is very good at interacting with my brother. I found that [name removed] would like to be in a facility with a swimming pool . . . AND be able to go out front door and walk to stores as well as restaurants if possible.

While my Father was here, I thought the facility was very clean and had a bright atmosphere. All of the staff members I met were nice and very engaging. They did offer a lot of activities like exercise groups, card clubs, and they even had a chapel. I haven’t eaten the food but it seemed to look very good. I would recommend this community to other families.

My mother, regrettably, had to leave Tradition because of her need for "two person" transfers. As hard as the nursing staff tried to keep Mom at Tradition, they were just unable to assist Mom, due to her decreasing mobility, with dressing, bathing and toileting with only one person. Unfortunately for Mom, Tradition doesn't have a number 4 level of care. I can tell you this about Tradition: The staff genuinely care about their clients. I felt very strongly that the staff felt sincere love for my mom based upon what I personally observed. They kept her "dry". It was as though they were on a mission to do this. I could tell by the number of "Depends she was going through and by the lack of any kind of odor in her apartment. The staff kept me completely informed of Mom's health issues as well as her need for supplies. More than once I was awoken at night by a phone call from a concerned care giver. Toward the end of Mom's stay, the staff performed above and beyond the level of care we were paying for. They had me fooled if they weren't actually sincere in their love and care for Mom. She is in a different facility now - one that provides "two person transfers". They will have a tough standard to live up to. So far, so good. [Removed]

This was the second place on my visits to different assisted living homes in the San Francisco area, and I immediately loved it. The place has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff and residents seem happy. Its just a great place.

We liked this community it was really nice and clean. It was close to us. They staff was wonderful and answered all of my questions. They were very kind. They just had a wait list and we needed something then. They still will call and check up on us.

This community's layout is almost perfect especially for having a pet with you. [Removed] was very welcoming,inviting me to come back and spend a day in the one unit that is available for pets. ( pets only on the first floor- those units have direct access to outside to walk the dogs.

I love being here in this community it lets me be the most independent as possible. The staff is nice and friendly, they keep it clean and bright in here. I love joining in on the activities like bridge, and we go out to the community college to watch a play. The food is excellent never a shortage. I enjoy the well maintained courtyard.I would recommend this to my friends and family.

This is a good community for my husband We like knowing that the staff are attentive to his needs of care. The community is clean and they have a good menu of healthy meals. I like knowing that the staff is trying to get him more active. We would recommend this community for the care of a loved one and good value.

I toured this community for myself to live. I was happy with the staff and the cleanliness of the community. They had a lot to offer but I wanted a different type of atmosphere.

We toured this community for the care for my mom. This community was further away for me and my brother. The staff were nice and caring to answer the questions we had on the care that is offered. We like the menu and the activities that are offered. We would recommend other families to tour this community for the care of a loved one.
