Overall it has been a positive experience at Tradition.

My husbands mom is here. I think she is happy for the most part. I haven't heard of any issues or complaints, she seems perfectly content there. So far so good.

This is all new so it's an adjustment, but so far I think things are going pretty well. I don't have anything in particular that is a concern. They keep it pretty clean, and the staff is nice. They keep in touch with me and we are working out all the details of the care plan. So far I'm pretty happy.

Toured- good possibility if unit closer to dining, etc. becomes available.

We considered this place when we were looking for somewhere to do a respite stay. They were adamant that my loved one needed to be in the memory care. We didn't think so and they wouldn't budge on that. They were also very expensive. It was a very nice place though.

NOTE: The online scheduling system for A Place for Mom doesn't appear to communicate with Evergreen Court's system so they didn't know I was coming! This places seems really great with nice grounds, an outdoor courtyard garden and lawns and the interior is designed with LOTS of natural light coming through. It feels intimate and friendly and has good amenities. My Mom doesn't qualify for independent living here due to her fixed income being a bit too high, despite her lack of assets. But it would be a good place when she needs assisted living. Melissa was very helpful and willing to provide info.

I've had a good experience here overall. The people here are friendly, both the residents and the staff. The food they serve is good, although it must be picked up from the assisted living section, which can be quite a walk from the independent living portion for those with movement difficulties. The other issue I have is that I believe they could do a much better job keeping things clean around the facility.

This one is my first choice. I liked that it's not too large like the other ones I visited. Close to their current neighborhood is a big plus. We are planning a visit one evening for dinner so I can show my parents around. I have a friend that is a nurse and she highly recommend the Heathers. I liked the units with the screened in porch. Seem like extra living space during the summer. I like that they have a nurse care center so if my dad's health becomes worse they are both in the same complex. Highest on my list.

This one is my second choice. I liked that it's not too large like the other ones I visited. Smaller community to get to meet new friends, yet the patio and setting areas for private time. The location is great and I liked the semi-privacy of the memory care rooms. Lovely terrace area to sit outside in safety, nice grounds for walking.

Comprehensive tour....very informative. This is definitely a place to consider placing a parent.

Great to see nearly two dozen residents enjoying coffee in their coffee shop. Entire building was spotless and smelled fresh. Interior is a little dated, but they are in the middle of redoing the entire complex. Cheryl was great!

It's a pretty good experience so far. It's very clean. They have a Friday night meal, in the community kitchen and dining area, that doesn't always happen. It would be nice if that was a little more consistent. This was the best fit because it was just senior apartments that didn't have a lot of other services we didn't need. There aren't any care services or activities to really rate. The building is new and very nice. They have underground parking for an additional fee. They do have a continental breakfast every weekday morning with donuts and coffee where the residents can come and socialize and chat. It's very informal and relaxed.

I helped some acquaintances locate this community when they were searching, and so far they seem pleased with it. It is a clean, nice looking place, and the staff are very friendly. The activities provided could use a bit more variety, the community they came from had a lot more music related activities which they are missing here.

The Waterford was okay but because my mother-in-law was in a townhouse so she didn't feel that she was part of a community. She moved out to be closer to the family. The place itself, the townhouse, was extremely nice. It was a very nice two bedroom. They did have meals. Part of her deal was one meal a month. Since she was in the townhouse part and not in the assisted living she had to walk outside to get to the main building. That part wasn't very user friendly for elderly people. She had to walk outside to get her mail and to get to the meals and activities so I don't believe she participated in any activities while she was there.

My mother-in-law has a one bedroom apartment at The Rivers. The staff is great. The leasing manager was extremely patient thought the whole process of getting her moved in and all the residents are extremely friendly. She likes the food. She's only been there 2 months and I believe she is participating in a few of the activities. She's still adjusting because this is a very different transition for her. It's her first time living in an apartment. What really sold us was that there is a washer/dryer in the unit. They whole place is very nice and well maintained.

The reason that I didn't choose this AlmaVia was because of the bathtub. You had to step over to get into the shower and I just didn't want my mom to fall. I thought it was a beautiful place and the had beautiful grounds. It was just the bathtub that I didn't like. We ended up choosing the AlmaVia in Union City instead.

I thought t it was great but it was too big for my mom. Her Alzheimer's isn't so far advanced but I thought she would be overwhelmed here.

I put my partner on the waiting list here. It seemed nice and friendly. He had been in skilled nursing before and this was much more refreshing. It was fine as far as I could see but we found an opening at another place.

To far away from where we really want to be. Nice place though.
