Transforming Age

We left our home of 57 years and moved to Tradition. We've been here since September 5, 2015 and have felt very much at home. Everyone, staff included, has been so friendly and helpful. We feel so comfortable here because we were able to bring almost everything from our home and we could put up on the walls everything we wanted to. The dining room is wonderful and the food is great, good service and all. I hear there are lots of activities to keep us busy if we want-puzzles, painting, cards, and bingo.

I love my apartment and have felt at home since the day I moved in. I have a 2 bedroom a deck and my own laundry room (a big plus). I can relax and stay in my apartment or take part of the many wonderful activities , have guests over or go out for lunch and shopping . A wonderful clean parking under the building and easily accessible. Everyone is very friendly including the great staff that is wìllìng to assist you. The food is scrumptious and very adequate and served to you very professional and the servers are so very friendly and helpful. I feel safe and secure here and have not regretted moving here. My family loves the place also and happy for me . The halls are well let and kept clean. I also find it very quiet in my place and no disturbances . I was able to keep my place cool in hot weather and warm in winter. Since I am a snow bird, it was nice to leave and not worry about anything happening to my ápartment.n

She passed away in December. She was only there for a little over two weeks. The people there were very, very nice although I do not know if it was the right place for her because of all her needs. A Place for Mom was wonderful in helping us find somewhere for her and Thank You.

There is really not much that can be said about The Rivers facility except that it is a decent facility and the staff members get the job done when it comes to taking care of my loved one. I can't think of any improvements.

My mom is here they seem to be taking good care of her so far. She has not been here long enough for me to complain about anything, so I don't have any complaints.

We are happy with them so far. I don't have any major complaints.

Everything is going fine here. The people here are terrific. The staff treats us like we are family here. The facility is always clean and well organized. They have enough activities here to keep the residents entertained.

I have lived at the Heathers for 10 years (in Feb.). I very much have enjoyed being here. The only drawback is, that the building is so old, but well maintained. We all enjoy it here.

Manager knows her job very well -- tells you how 'it is'. Upkeep, as far as I know, is good -- friendly staff, willing to help when called for. So far, my ten years here have been very good.

The Heather Manors also known as the The Heather Estates, is very clean. They have community services and activities. I enjoy the independent living, instead of the assisted living I am given my own apartment and amenities so I also have privacy. The community is always involved but also respect your privacy. The office staff has been very helpful. Almost anything I ask they help with they are always there to assist.

At Heathers Manor everyone I have met so far has been nice. The food is good at this facility. She is having a hard time adjusting being by herself. It is assisted living and they have independent next door. There are a lot of residents that need more care than she does. I would like to see assisted and independent living in one unit to have more of a mix of residents. They have two separate buildings for them that don't connect so there isn't that mix here. So far she is coping as well as she can. She has not said she doesn't like it there. It is just going to take a while for her to adjust.

Waterford Manor was the place for our mom. Unfortunately, due to her open wound for abscess drainage, they were unable to accept her due to licensing issues. They could not even accommodate us even if we were to have an outside in-home care nursing service come in (who would be licensed) to dress the wound twice a day. We were very disappointed, as the facility was very nice. The services that are provided would have been a great fit for our mom.

We are very happy over there. He is very comfortable, there, and the people are very friendly. He's been there for a little over a month now, and everything is going great.

Toured May 7th. It is more reasonable priced.

I moved here over 3 years ago. I really like my apartment. There are so many activities here every day. It is beautiful now that it is remodeled.

The Heathers Manor is a very clean and nice community. The activities are good but we need help getting my mother involved in them. The staff and residents are friendly. My Mother says the meals are delicious. My overall rating of this property is 4 stars. It has been a good experience so far. I am glad that my mother is happy here. I would recommend the Heathers Manor to anyone looking for an assisted living home.

Activities here are great. At the moment the nursing staff is undergoing a few changes. Food is good. I found this the best fit for my parents after visiting numerous facilities. I liked that they have separate building for indepenant and assisted living. Had numerous health problems 2 weeks after moving in, they were very accomidating. I have found that the follow through isn't always done to my satisfaction. After a few months I am overall very satisfied.
