Although my mother chose to stay in the Petoskey, Michigan area, rather than moving downstate, I was very impressed with Pine Ridge of Hayes Assisted Living. The administrative staff was very knowledgeable and helpful, especially [Name removed]. As we toured the facility I noticed how friendly and caring she was with all of the residents we walked by. She knew everyone’s name and greeted them and engaged in conversations with them. You could tell she was genuinely interested in their lives. The facility was very clean and homey. It was all on one floor with a central hall. The hall had many comfortable seating areas along it so people with walkers could sit and rest if needed and socialize with others. My mother is now in a very large facility in northern Michigan and they are lacking that amenity. It makes it impossible for her to go long distances with her walker, or to socialize along the way. She needs assistance to get to all meals because of the long distance to dining on another floor. At Pine Ridge of Hayes this would not be a problem. Because it is smaller and on one floor, people with some mobility problems would find it much easier to navigate without extra assistance. I also loved the size of the apartments and that each had very nice screened in porches. I spoke at length to a few residents who were very happy there and raved about the food and activities. If my mother decides to make a better choice by moving downstate, Pine Ridge of Hayes will definitely be the choice.

A beautiful assisted living home. Spacious rooms and very nice bathrooms with many safety features. So many activities and services for residents that my head was spinning. The director, [name removed], gave me a complete tour and was very knowledgeable about every aspect of the center. I would love to have my mother living at Evergreen Estates.

Beautiful facility, clean, bright. Plenty of activities. Restaurant style meals.

Moved my in-laws here two years ago. They loved it from the beginning. My mother-in-law passed away 5 months go and my father-in -law says he will never leave because it has so many good memories. The services they provide are very good, especially the meals-restaurant quality. The biggest plus is the friendliness of all the staff. They always have a smile and greet you by name. They take an interest in your life and provide support when needed. There are many activities to help you interact with other residents.

Just returned home after touring and visiting Pine Ridge. I found the facility clean, bright , cheerful and homey feeling, just what the seniors need. Residents looked happy as they sat around chatting . Pleasantly surprised by my visit. Seeing and talking with the residents tells you all you need to know.

All in all it looked pretty good. A little dated and it did have a slight smell to it. Staff was very friendly and people seemed to be talking with each other.

Moving here was the best decision I've made in a long Time. Being alone with my dog in a beautiful apartment Was not mentally healthy for me. My friends tell me that I look happy and healthy again. Personally, I love my screened in porch and the surrounding area for my own garden. Everybody is friendly,lots of activities,and good food. Plus there's a lovely walking path which goes across a Bridge to an island in the middle of a lake behind Lakeside. It's pleasant to sit there and feed the ducksq. My experience on the third day of living here tells you what kind of place this is. I was rushed to the hospital with a strangulated hernia which required surgery. The rental Lady visited me and brought me a lovely handmade afghan. While I was gone they unpacked my things and settled down the apt. Everybody pitched in and took care of my dog-- walking and feeding her and even getting her Groomed and taking her home with them.

I have been living here for several months. I was impressed with the staff from the top down to those who work so hard to make sure everyone feels a part of "the family". Many varied activities are provided on a daily basis. I look forward to seeing and talking with other residents. Apartments vary in size and with all of your home furnishing make you feel as if this is the place made for you. I highly recommend Corby Place to those who would like to make the transition.

The Brentmoor is my home and for three years i have experienced just what seniors should have at my age.i am fortunate.the

Best we saw so far, friendly staff that do the extras to make residents and family feel welcome. It was clean and spacious with lots of little extras, like a TV room with recliners and blankets, just like a home movie theater. I loved the restaurant feel of their meals.

They keep track of my mom here. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The housekeeping do a good job of keeping it clean they will clean here room weekly and they empty trash daily. She eats 3 good meals a day. They will engage here to join the daily activities and some days she will just watch. There is a hairdresser on site. It has an enclosed courtyard that they are remodeling right now. And the front has chairs and is nice to enjoy. I would recommend this community.

My family had a good experience with Ashford Court. My Dad was staying at another assisted living facility, but they could not handle his diabetes well enough. Ashford Court, and their on-site home healthcare services company, Homestead, did a great job supporting my Dad. Medically, they did a great job managing his diabetes. And, as his medical needs increased, I was able to increase his level of care and add a la carte services (for instance, safety checks, and incontinence cleanup). Eventually, my Dad had to move into the memory care unit due to his dementia; he needed hospice support, which was provided in the memory care unit. My Dad's apartment was small, but clean, bright and well maintained. He had a patio door that opened into an open courtyard that provided light, air and a nice openness. Staff cleaned the room once a week, which was a challenge that they handled well as my Dad tended to hoard things. My Dad was picky with respect to food, but found the 3 meals served daily to be fine - and he loved the fact that they had coffee and snacks available all day long. I'm very happy that we found (through A Place for Mom) Ashford Court!

The staff is really easy to work with. Sales manager [Removed] is amazing. She really make you feel welcome and like you really want to live there. My father is looking forward to being a part of this community. He cannot wait to move.

All ground floor units. Physical facility shows a little age but has a warm atmosphere. Age in place range of services is the best including separate wing for dementia residents. Last but certainly not least is pricing is the most competitive.

So far my mom is settling in nicely at the Redstone Park Retirement. The overall atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. The staff is very friendly and attentive to my mom's care needs. I have not had a chance to dine there with my mom but she thinks the food is good and it looks good. Her room is very nice, we wanted a bigger room, but this one is working out just fine for her and she is happy with it. They have rocking chairs on the porches for the resident to get outside and get fresh air when the temperature cools down. The best thing I can say about Redstone Park is that my mom is happy here and that is what matters the most. I would definitely recommend this community to friends and family.

We toured this community for the care of my father. We liked the friendly staff and the cleanliness of the community. They off a nice menu and a good list of activities for the residents. We would suggest that families tour this community for the care of a loved one.

On my tour, which went good, I saw a nice community. However I just though it looked a little tired with their decor and atmosphere.

Hayes We toured the community. The community was clean and maintained. We liked the menu that seemed appealing. They offer activities for the residents to participate and We would recommend other families to tour this community for the care of a loved one
