My mother is doing well here at this community. I do like the community, but there are minor concerns I have. The refrigerator handle in my mothers room is broken, and I've asked many time for them to fix it, they have yet to do so. I would say the cleaning could be done better. Other than those issues, she does enjoy the people here. They do offer activities. I know she is safe and in good hands. This is a community I would recommend.

POSSIBILITY--Close to home. A dog may be allowed(additional cost for dog care). Feels institutional even tho it's small(approx. 25 MC residents?). It is a remodeled SNF. Dining room still has a nursing station next to it. Sparse decor/small rooms/small patio area. Community fee waived if moving in by July 1st.

I took a tour of this community and all went good. I did not see much activities happening. The community is clean, maintained but seems to have an outdated appearance. I would have preferred to see some new or fresh upgrades. One thing I had to take into consideration was the ratio to resident, I felt my mother-in-law would not get a one-on-one interaction

My brother is happy since moving into Amethyst Arbors. He is not real active in the community but he did like it when they had a guitar player come in on a Saturday. The community is a rustic type theme with pine rustic furniture and beautiful surroundings. He is able to have his dog in the community with him. The food is sometimes good and sometimes not so good. The entire staff is great and attentive to the residents.

The Amethyst has been wonderful since my in laws moved in about a week ago. From our perspective the staff is doing the best they can as my father in law has been difficult. The outside surroundings are beautiful and the community is kept very clean. While there have been some minor issue with my mother in law's shower head, they are working to correct these matters. My husband had a chance to experience the food and while he enjoyed it my in laws are not happy with it. I'd recommend the community to family and friends.

Everything is going very well for me here at Amethyst Gardens I really like it here. I had some problems with cleaning in the beginning, but they have fixed the problem now. The staff is amazing here they are very friendly and attentive. They even stop and say hello and see how I am doing. The food is good they serve a well balanced meal for us.They offer a diverse group of activities for everyone here. I would recommend this community because everyone here is great and friendly to you.

My Dad and my Aunt are both at Amethyst Arbors and we are really pleased with this community. I would recommend this place and in fact have already recommended to other family members. Most of the staff is a 5, but the front desk lady brings the score down. The rest of them are outstanding. We are learning the way they do things. They have tons of activities and fun things, but my dad and Aunt haven't participated. I'm hoping that when I have time to go and participate with them they will enjoy it. I like the food. This week they are raving about the food. My Aunt loves it. I also thank A Place For Mom for helping and being amazing with information about communities. I'm so thankful for them. It worked out how it was supposed to.

Just put a couple into Emerald Springs. They are happy there and LOVE the food. They have also discovered lot of friends there! Makes the experience even better. ????. Plus everyone on the staff is pleasant, friendly and helpful with anything needed.

We're still trying to settle in here at Miramont Point but so far it's been a very positive experience. The staff are nice and friendly and they keep the place pretty clean! There are plenty of activities and they even have a book club! The food can be better but it's okay.

Staff are caring and friendly. Apartment is kept neat and clean. Staff are responsive to communications about issues and concerns.

I would like to see them upgrade the kitchen. I am aware that the kitchen is not a full functioning kitchen. Other then that I have no complaints.

For the most part we have had a very positive experience with the Amethyst Gardens. We have had a few issues with their dining hall and there just being poor service, but other than that we really like the place.

Beautiful grounds and apartments were nice. I wish they had a washer/ryer in the apartments rather than down the hall. The ‘age in place’ approach to independent living is nice. Seems like good value for the money.

The facility is clean. They have great staff there. The food is okay. The activities are good as well. The facility is okay.

The rooms and the facility itself are very nice. It is very clean and well organized. The staff is caring and friendly. The food here isn't terrible, but it could be better. The level and quality of care here is great.

The staff and residents are very kind and friendly. My apartment is very clean and the housekeeping staff keeps it that way. The food and maintenance service is less than average but if you complain enough you will get a response shortly.

We have already gotten Mom situated. We love Amethyst Gardens. Mom had fallen and we didn't know at that time that she was having problems with daily activities. When we went to Amethyst, we set it up so that she could have assistance with dressing. It turns out that Mom got better and she did not need the assistance. We did not really utilize the service and they credited our money back. It really was nice of them to do that. The food could be a little bit better.

They keep changing the restaurant hours and menu items. I'm not sure whether that's good or not, but it seems to be confusing to my Mother-In-Law. The other amenities such as cleanliness, parking spaces, etc. seem to be fine. Overall a good place.

We toured this community while looking into options for a loved one. I thought The Commons on Marice looked like a nice place overall, and it was definitely somewhere I'd consider as an option! However, at the time we toured none of the rooms they had available had a floor plan that worked well for us.

They can improve on the food. They need to do a lot with that since it is really important for the residents. It's a nice place though, the people are friendly and the rooms are nice too. They could do a little better on cleaning the rooms, but other than that it is okay.
