I toured several facilities and spoke to quite a few others before deciding to move my mother here. Looking beyond the brand new facility, each time I visited the residents were engaged, there were plenty of SMILING staff, and they have a self contained "memory" floor with 3-1 ratio of staff to resident with a private balcony, hair salon, exercise area, reading and entertaining areas and just overall a state of the art home for my mom.

The Building - extremely pleasant and clean surroundings, furnishings, gardens, easy to navigate. The Staff - Professional, well informed, very friendly and supportive. The Dining Room - Starched white linens, professional wait staff, excellent food taste and quality. The apartments - Clean, well designed. The social functions - Never ending! [removed] We placed my 94 year old mother in law here with complete ease of mind. From my first visit to present, I have had not one bad experience. Staff in all areas go out of their way to help us navigate this most difficult time. We know we now have a tremendous support system at Village of Tanglewood.

It's very good, it just opened so there's basically only about 8 people there so she's getting really good individual attention. It's newer and a lot closer to my house, plus there are a lot of aids that are working here from where she was before so she's comfortable with them and it's closer to her doctors and the hospital. It's easier on everybody being close like that, it's a little cheaper, probably a big thing too. The room she's in is twice the size for a little bit less than she was paying before. They have a much more straightforward billing system and during meals they check on her to see if she can't eat somethign that day and they'll make something else. If she would have to go to memory care there it's probably 10 times bigger than where she was before and it's really geared to the levels of memory care.

For the area, this is the best fit for my loved one. The quality, accommodations, safety, security, along with the friendliness of the staff is great. They are struggling like everywhere else with staffing specifically in the dining and food area. The food isn't quite where it could be quality wise. I think that is more due to the lack of staffing. We are very happy with it overall.

We chose Wood Glen Court because we felt that the energy and social atmosphere was superior to others that we looked into. The room sizes at the facility are better than average. The overall space is well laid out with lots of activity rooms, libraries, tv rooms, etc. that residents are able to enjoy if they want. I would recommend them to others looking.

Overall, it is a great facility. It is on the higher end of what you pay and so I don't have enough experience to say if it is worth that value or not. We chose this community because they had a two bedroom apartment available, The food in the assisted living side was good but the food in memory care was drastically different including the choices.

When it was time to look for our mother- we debated between several communities and decided on Anthology of Plano. We recently moved her in and have never been happier with our decision. They took time to talk with us about mom's needs and our needs. Even as we were deciding over the weekend- we placed a call to the Director ( [name removed]) to ask a couple final questions and she called us right back! We moved her in during a very different time in the world but feel very secure having her there. This is a tough time for nursing facilities so we did not take this decision lightly. The Director walked us through the process and even though we did not get her there until late in the evening, ( because movers don't always make it on time) and we had to revise our plan with her, she was still greeted with friendliness and a wonderful meal. I would strongly recommend this community because the Director and her team we do whatever is needed to help. Our mom is happy ( even though she is in quarantine)- We are so Thankful they were able to have her move in. This community is very beautiful on the outside and the team is just as beautiful on the inside. Thank you for making a stressful situation less stressful for us!

I have as yet no experience with care services here. The monthly fee is quite high but the building is brand new and the public spaces are elegant. My apartment is lovely with hard finish floors, marble, and glass exterior walls. Staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurant is up to very high commercial restaurant standards, both in decor, service and in quality of food.

Mom has been to Village twice. First shortly after it was opened. She was in assisted due to some health issues. Then she moved to a retirement community when she got better. She has since moved back to Village. First into Memory because of the beginnings of dementia but turned it around after medication so we moved her into assisted. [Name removed], the Director, worked with us and encouraged us to put her into the assisted because she was doing so well. She does have some memory issues as I am sure some of the other residents do as well but the staff works well with those issues. The staff has been wonderful. Currently mom had a set back in her health and had a fractured backl. Again, we sat down with [Name removed] and discussed our concerns and we worked out a plan to help mom with her back brace which was a difficult issue to deal with. Everyone here tries to help in what ever way they can. Very much appreciated. No place is perfect but I do recommend Village at Stonebridge very highly. Thank you [Name removed] and staff!!

I would recommend Harbor Chase to anyone looking for a safe, homey place for their loved one. It is not huge or intimidating, which was one of the things we liked about it. The staff feels like family after just a few weeks and my Grandmother thrived there. They had her doing things/activities that truly surprised us! She wasn't much of a joiner, but they had her going on field trips and doing artwork and loving it. From [name removed], the Executive Director, to [name removed], Head of Patient Care, to [name removed] in Billing, and [name removed], at the front desk, everyone is a gem and truly cares. There wasn't a time I couldn't reach out to any one of them and have a response within hours. They truly made themselves available, not only for the residents, but for their family. Before moving in, Grandma spent a few months at a sister property. She was turning 102 and we wanted to have a surprise Birthday party for her. I called [name removed] and asked her if they could gather her bingo buddies from next door and bring them over to celebrate with Grandma. [name removed] was so excited to do it, she even brought extra folks who were also moving into Harbor Chase so Grandma could meet them as well! Once she moved in, [name removed] would load her into the van (she was in a wheelchair) and take her to bingo at her old apartment complex twice a week so she could still see her friends. Grandma just passed away and they went above and beyond with her care right to the end. I cannot say enough about how much they meant to our whole family.

The Village was awesome! My Dad was here and they just took care of everything. My step-mom felt like it was too institutional, but for me they took care of all of the needs that needed to be met. The staff was awesome and everyone was just really, really good. He was older in age and didn’t like that some of the nurses were able to show tattoos that they had, but as far as in the quality of work and the professionalism of the staff, it was really good. Everyone really did their job well. Since my Dad was there, they’ve changed directors, and I’m sure the new one is fine but the one that was there really ran a tight ship. The facility was kept very clean. I would absolutely recommend them for others and might even move my mom there.

Mom likes her room as it is located in a good area. They offer an internal system were the residents wear a pendent if they need assistance. The staff are quick to respond and very sweet. They offer some daily activities and the community is clean. They offer good fresh food and they are accommodating. The dining room staff is very nice. This is a fine place for her and I would recommend it.

My mom lived at Stonebridge for two years. The facility is beautiful with comfortable, well equipped and quiet apartments. It is always clean and fresh. The courtyards provide a pretty view and comfortable outdoor space for residents. I give especially high marks to the staff. The head nurse, [removed], is compassionate, thoughtful, professional and responsive. She leads a team of the most caring and helpful technicians anyone could hope to have caring for their parent. My mom was very particular about food and found their dining room provided a great selection of meal choices. Again, the dining staff is also outstanding. Always patient, remembering resident preferences and assisting them beautifully. The business office is always helpful and responsive as well. The hair salon is staffed with more wonderful people!! They provided my mom with the best care imaginable throughout her residence at Stonebridge. Moving to assisted living can be a difficult move yet they made it comfortable and brought a real sense of community support to her and our family. I truly enjoy being a part of their community. I recommend them to anyone seeking an assisted living facility that offers great care, good food, a great physical environment and a truly compassionate staff at all levels.
