We have been very pleased with The Village. It is a vibrant and joyful community. Everyone who works there offers a smile, a hug, and they go out of their way to make their residents comfortable, active and HAPPY! They work with you to address differing levels of care - one month we may need more care then the next month. And as they say, the food IS really terrific!

Our best friend became in need of assisted living on fairly short notice. We helped his signifiant other research possible locations and she was very disappointed in most places she visited. A friend mentioned the Harbor Chase of McKinney was just getting ready to open and it took a 30 minute visit for all of us to know we found the right place and the right people. The staff there is so dedicated on making sure their residents are comfortable at every moment. Sadly our friend’s health went down hill rapidly and passed away after only three months. The care and attention that everyone from the receptionist through to the chef to the entire management team exhibited all the way to his last day was amazing. One would have thought our friend had been there for years. Even as only a friend we felt like family every visit. We can’t possibly recommend Harbor Chase strongly enough. We still stop by just to see those great people.

I had the privilege of visiting HarborChase of McKinney on several occasions and have experienced nothing but great hospitality. From the moment you walk in the associates are very welcoming and helpful. Everyone seems happy and the residents are getting exceptional care by the entire team. If you’re looking for a family environment where they truly care about your loved one, this is the place to choose.

I toured here when trying to find the best place for my dad and I liked but it would take me about 30 minutes to get there, which is why we chose not to move him in. The difference here that I found is that they have a big assisted living program. A lot of their activities seemed to be geared more towards the assisted living residents than the memory care. The facility was gorgeous, though, and very upscale. They even had marble counters in the bathroom. Everything was open and airy, there was sunshine and big living spaces. The dining and living areas were both very open and seemed to flow all together. Overall it was lovely.

I like this setup for independent living for mom because they have caregivers on site if the caregiver we have couldn't make it or something which is a nice backup. It is a pretty, nice , new building. The food is terrific. Since it is so new it's not full yet but soon maybe more residents will come. The staff is so nice and accommodating. They have a rooftop terrace that has potted plants and trees are coming soon. Mom's room is overlooking that.

This facility was one of my first choices when I was looking for an assisted living home for my mom. The thing that I really liked about it was that there's assisted and independent living in the same facility, which means you don't have to move your loved one in the event that things change for them. The head nurse there is amazing and was willing to answer any questions I had. I would've chosen this place if it hadn't been for the location. It was just a bit too far from me but I would recommend this community.

Very nice place. Friendly staff and residents. Really 1st class, but you pay for that. 24/7 RN on site. If you have the funds and plan to stay a while, I would recommend this place.

This community offers assisted living and memory care. The staff in the memory care area are nice and try to stay on top of things. Mom does not like the food. The community is clean. Things are as good as can be expected.

We were thrilled with this community while mom lived there. Unfortunately, they were not able to provide the level of care mom needed. Everyone there was helpful and attentive. Mom really liked the food. I would highly recommend this community.

This was a nice tour for the care for my sister. The staff was helpful in answering the questions we had. The community is clean and they offer a lot of good meals. Activities are offered for good care. We liked this community but it too far. I would recommend this community for others

I toured this community for my moms care. We like the beautiful community. The community has very nice staff who are kind. The menu was appealing and mom would of like the choices. They do offer activities for the residents

We really liked the tour with Village on the Park. The man who was the sales director was very good when presenting the community and we were going to use them for my loved one. Until we saw a different community that looked way more pretty with more amenities. I think that what A Place For Mom provides for help is valuable services, they helped us when we didn't know where to start.

Our mother is happy. What more has to be said? She likes the apartment. She likes the meals. She likes the people. She likes the attitude. After a long and thorough search, this not-easy-to-please lady is very satisfied. We can't say enough good things about the transition and the living. Kudos to A Place For Mom, as well Thank you!

We toured this community for a place to call home. The staff was able to answer the questions we had on the care that this community offers. We liked the menu and the good activities that would have been available. The community is clean and a nice environment to enjoy. We would recommend the good value for other families.

I thought this was a suitable community and it was really great. At the time we were looking for both my grandparents, but it was going to be a little more for the rent. It is a very nice community.

I would say this is one of the best community's in the Austin area. This has been a great move for my mother, and her needs. She likes it, and I'am satisfied with all they have done for us. It is a smaller community compared others, but it is a very nice facility. She has a fabulous bathroom, and good views from her room. The staff is polite, and friendly when I come to visit. They provided three different levels of care, and also they allow pets. It has been a great experience for us in this community, and I would highly recommend it.

I toured this nice community for care for my mom. I liked the staff and the cleanliness with the nice atmosphere. They have a nice menu and a list of things that would of helped my mom. I would recommend this community for the care of a loved one.
