Sunrise Senior Living

My mom was a resident at Sunrise of Lafayette Hill and I developed a close relationship with the staff and the other residents. We called each other family and when my mother passed I was told to keep coming to the great meals and events and be with my Sunrise family. My husband and I visit each month and eat the great food and dance all night. We are so lucky to have this family to rely on.

The facility is updated, comfortable and homey. The staff are friendly, approachable and helpful.

[name removed] was our liaison and he was very friendly. Very informative. Family friendly. They need to be more diligent with bathroom, bedroom. Trash especially. From what I've heard, the food is great and there are a lot of options

We picked them because it was a recommendation from you. Half way between my brother and me, geographically. The experience has been awesome.

Great communication with fast replies. Community was Very Clean. Residents and Staff were Friendly and Happy. Renovation Started in 2023 and ended at the start of 2024. Some of the Amenities are Transportation, Cleaning Service, Library, Community Kitchen and Game Rooms. They also have a Fitness Center, Activity Area, TV Room, and a Chapel. Rooms were very nice. Reasonable price. Food was great and there were several options. The Community earned the 10 Years plus Tenure Award, Caring Super Stars Award (2024), and a Great Place to Work Certified (2023-April 2024) Award. There are a sufficient number of staff members. Turnover is low. They have great support for Veterans. Each agency that works there has a VA contact. Rent is very reasonable and not overpriced. They have Home Helpers and Traveling Nurse services. The Sales Director works there for 10 years. Bus Driver has been there for 12 years. There is a Chef that has been with the company for 19 years. Overall a Great Community!

Great tour around the facility. Everyone did say hello and gave me resources. Cost is the major factor in placing my mother. We want her home for the holidays. Come the new year I believe this is the place for my mother.

The Sunrise of West Essex in all categories I would rate a 5. My sister is well cared for, staff is great. When I'm there & leave I never have to worry because I know my sister is well cared for.

We picked them because of the location and staff. I would highly recommend to others.

The overall rating is really good and Sunrise is clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful, with great care - they have good teams. Meals are good/ok. / and the dining is good. Activities are good too. Value is good, the place is like home, they are able to walk around, go to activities, go to dining room for meals. They have snacks available and a mid afternoon snack, today on third floor it was a dish of orange sherbet ice cream.

This place is special. Excellence begins at the top- [name removed]is a kind person that genuinely cares about the people there. This can also be said about the staff. [name removed]is the best! She is conscious about the meds and how they are given. From the people that greet you at the desk, like [name removed],and [name removed], always a smile and a helping hand. There are many like this and I can’t remember their names. This is a real home away from home.

All 5 stars! We are very pleased with our experience a Sunrise of Webb Gin. They do a really nice job. The facility has a nice and caring atmosphere.

The staff and administration are very friendly and helpful. The communication is great and they keep the family informed of any issues, questions, etc. The staff seem to have a genuine interest and concern for the residents.

What we like the most about Sunrise of Flossmoor is that it is closer to family and they are responsive. We would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had.

Sunrise is the best thing I could have done for my cousin!!! They are a cut above the rest of the facilities I toured. They have great amenities, food, cleanliness, etc.

She has now passed but she did enjoy her stay at Sunrise of East meadow and I would highly recommend. It was quite expensive but the care was wonderful. The staff was friendly, understanding and helpful to my Aunt. The food was very good as well. There were many activities which my aunt enjoyed and she met some residents who became her friends. She truly enjoyed living there. I would highly recommend Sunrise of East Meadow if you financially can afford it.

I was able to tour for my mother who is currently rehabbing at Danville post acute. The regional who gave us a tour was vey helpful and had lots of great resources. We plan to move my mother in but cost is a worry as all her children are splitting the cost. I was given the information to ElderLife Financial and that made a huge difference. The facility is older but very clean and everyone greeted us when we walked around.

[name removed] loves her place at Greeley Place. I can always talk to the staff right away when I call and they are very helpful. Food is excellent and a great variety at every meal so [name removed] is not eating hamburgers every Tuesday dinner (I.e.) unless she wants too. Linens are changed weekly and her place cleaned.

She is extremely happy there. They are attentive, they keep everyone busy, they love the idea they go out on day trips. Very family like atmosphere.
