Sunrise Senior Living

So far my mom is settling in quite nicely at the Sunrise at Fountain Square. It is a clean and well-kept community. They are very welcoming to our family members when we come to visit. The staff is very friendly and attentive to my mom's care needs. Mom loves her room on the fourth floor where she can look down and see all of the activity going on. She loves her room, we helped her decorate it and it is very homey and comfortable for her.They offer various activities for the residents to engage in. Mom hasn't tried all of them out yet as she is still getting used to her surroundings. I've dined there with mom and the meals they provide offer a lot of variety and choices. This community takes excellent care of mom and was very cost effective. I would highly recommend this community to others.

We like this community for the excellent care that is received here.The staff is outstanding and caring. The community is clean and we like the excellent menu of healthy meals. They offer activities for the residents. My mom is happy with knowing that they have a dog for her and the others to enjoy. We would recommend this community for other families.

In first two weeks all has gone quite well considering the cross-country move and high care needs of our father. Only 4 places in the Bellevue, Kent, Renton area (excluding home care types) would even allow our mother and father to stay in the same room due to father's very high care needs (hoyering, continence and hygiene care required) - Sunrise was one. The staff is highly caring and compassionate. Response time to call button is amazing (1-2 minutes) compared to what we were used to in a Rehab/Nursing facility. The problem solving mentality of the staff and management is perfect for our situation. Food is great according to our father and mother. It is a little pricey, but so far it has been worth it for our situation. For mother, who is highly mobile and healthy, the Crossroads mall and other shopping within close walking distance is also very convenient. So far we really like this place.

I toured this community and the marketing personal was very helpful to my to questions on the community. I liked the size of the community. They offered activities. I think that families should tour this community for the value and the help that is available.

Very warm and friendly atmosphere for an assisted living facility. Bright and cheerful décor with a nice sense of community. Love the activities planned for the residents such as Luau night, Paris night, Disco night. Also great daily activities that include meditation, exercise, current events, clipping coupons for those in need, bowling and religious services.

The first day my mom moved in she was greeted by everyone by her nickname and everyone was so welcoming, the chef even came to our table at lunchtime and introduced himself and asked her about what she likes to eat and told her to let him know if she wanted anything special. They keep me well informed about my mom and her care they are encouraging her to be a part of the activities and they even helped me find the movers and packers to move her who also set her apt up for us. My mom has settled in and she is so glad that she has come here.

I hear my mom is doing really well and she is now settling into the Memory Care. She is safe and the community is in a very convenient location. It is easy to visit her and she has got many guest that stop by. That is why we picked this community and it looked very nice. She has a lot of her own furniture in her room.

I took a tour of this facility, and the tour went very well! The proximity was great, as it was close to where I needed it to be, and I really liked the facility! Overall, it seemed like a very good place!

The staff are quick to address things. They are attentive and mom is getting a lot of personal care. The food is good and the meals are well balanced. They do offer some daily activities and mom has enjoyed participate in a few of them. I liked that this is an active community and I would recommend it.

We loved this community to the point where we had made a decision that this is where my parents were going to go. It's a brand new community everything was clean and fresh the staff was nice and friendly. However there paperwork leaves a lot to be desired. Because of the wording on a questioner that my parent's doctor had to fill out they were unable to accept my parents. The management staff needs to take a look at the evaluation form and adjust it so they can properly evaluate the potential residents.

Dad has made such amazing progress since moving here I could not be more pleased. At first, it was a rocky start and we took him home but after sitting down with the staff and them listening they helped us with a solution and it was the right choice. He has gained weight. He went through physical and occupational therapy and he did so well they released him from those programs. He is helping out the caregivers s on his floor with other resident and it is making him feel like he is contributing. He gets along with the staff which is wonderful and all the residents and their families. The community is clean and very well maintained. Dad doesn't seem to care for the food too much but I've eaten meals there several time and the food is very good.

This home was spotless when I toured it. The caregivers were friendly and helpful. The owner of this care home used to be a nurse and she owns several homes. This care home has more female residents and this would not work for us. I would recommend taking a look at this care home.

They offer a good variety of food choices, however mom does not like the taste of much of it. They try to keep mom active and she has started to participate in some of the exercise classes. The community is clean and they have nice grounds. The staff are wonderful. They are encouraging, attentive and sincere about what they are doing. The main reason we chose this community over other communities was the welcoming staff, as they made us feel comfortable.

The big thing for me was to have my sister close by for me to visit. The community is small and I like the way it is set up. She is doing well and still in the transition phase. They have cats, dogs, and birds but I don't see them much around the community. The staff are very nice.

I was very impressed with my tour that I had taken of this community it had all of the bells and whistles included. I could tell they put a lot of money and time on making sure they had a nice place for these residents to live and enjoy life. The staff where very kind and patient with us during our visit and made sure to answer any questions we had for them. I just thought the population was a little more advanced then what my mother was.

Sunrise seemed to be very hectic and was a bit older, and the location was not as good. The apt my mom and I looked at was bright and clean but it felt like an apt. There was a golf course but it was across the street and my mom was looking for more of a nice landscaped view possibly facing the golf course. While we were there all the staff seemed very friendly and we were able to talk with some of the other residents who were also very nice. Sunrise of Mission Viejo was nice it was just not what my mother was looking for.

My mother in law seems to be doing well since her move to this community. I wish she would socialize more, but overall everything has worked out well for us in this community. We know she is safe, and in good hands. They are taking good care of her, and her needs. The community, and her room are well maintained when we visit. She is pleased with the meals. I have noticed that they post plenty of activities for the residents. This is a community I would recommend to my family, and friends.

This is a wonderful home for aging adults. The facility is beautiful, very well-kept, and the staff is caring. While Mom's stay was brief (she passed after 6 weeks), our family felt welcome, and Mom always commented "Everybody is so Nice!" I must say, joining your loved one for a meal feels awkward. You must purchase a ticket at the front desk to be served. Other places merely add your meal to the resident's bill, which is more discreet. But other than that, a first rate residence for affluent older persons.

My mother has recently moved into this community and so far everything has been going well for her. The staff are excellent people and I could not have picked a better group of people to care for her. She has been eating very well and loving her time in the dinning room with the other residents. I am also impressed to see her participating in a few of the activities they have to offer. Overall this was the perfect fit for her and I would recommend it to anyone.

The experience for my wife and I has been very good. She likes living here. The food is what she likes the best. Our main reason to pick this community is because they are in a very convenient location and they had the best price for us.
