Sunrise Senior Living

My father is doing okay at the Whispering Chase. The apartment he is in is comfortable with plenty of natural lighting. The meals are very good, we have eaten there ourselves. Overall, it has been a good experience.

Really liked it!! [Removed] was wonderful, and as soon as I have the plan for the next phase we will connect and see if we can make it work.

My mom was here for 10 days for respite care. She said she enjoyed her stay. Her only complaint was the food- rice is a staple for her. I think most of the staff were very kind to her. I would let her stay again for short intervals and someday if we have to move her to assisted living - this community would be on the top of our list.

I took a tour of this community from a helpful guide who was able to give me useful information about the community. When I saw the room I saw how small it was and we wanted something larger. This is why we did not select them.

They staff was ready and on time for our scheduled tour. I was get useful information that I needed. When I saw the apartment available we thought it was not a good size and needed something larger. This was the reason for not choosing.

This community did a good job giving me a proper tour. I was shown a room and walked through the dining halls. I only met with one lady who I really liked. It would have been a suitable community but the location was not ideal for us.

This is a phenomenal community, and I couldn't be any more pleased with all they have done for us. My mother loves it here! She is doing very well, and everything is working out very well. The only thing is that this is a very expensive community, but I do feel we are getting our money worth. The staff is very quick to respond with any help she needs. They have been great to work with. I'am very satisfied with this community, and I would highly recommend it.

Very nice facility in a desirable area of town. The day I toured was Valentines day and the staff was setting up for a special day for thier residents. The also had a horse and carriage giving residents rides around the outside.

In the beginning, getting everything packed and moving my parents in was very difficult, but now that they're there, they seem to really enjoy it! Everyone is wonderful and my parents are very comfortable. My mom has made friends and she has them over to play bridge in her apartment. They did not have chairs, so the staff took them some folding chairs which were nice. The maintenance does a very good job, anytime my parents have needed anything repaired, they're there right away!

Everything is working out very well for my mother since her move to this community. She being provided with good care, and I'am satisfied. The location of the community is convenient for me to travel too, just in care something happens. She is doing well, and this is a community I would recommend.

My mother moved here recently and she is really enjoying it so far. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. We are very pleased with their in house physical therapy, we seen much improvement with her. She is participating in activities and games such as BINGO but she doesn't go to everything they offer because she goes to sleep early. We chose this community because it is close to where I live and they had excellent reviews on their food. I've already recommended this community to loved ones.

My mother is doing very well since her move to the Sugar Valley Estates. She is meeting new people and making friends. She has not joined any activities but they are available to her. I have no complaints.

My father lived here for two weeks before he passed away and it was a wonderful experience. The staff was very supportive during this difficult time. Although the time spent there was short I would recommend this community to a friend or loved one.

My mother-in-law wasn't crazy about going into assisted living to begin with.The staff is really trying to get her involved in activities she interested in and are very supportive. The housekeeping comes in daily to empty trash cans and clean up and monthly for deep cleaning. We had lunch while visiting and the food was very good.My mother-in-law is an excellent cook and she likes the food too.We choose this community because of it's intimate, cozy atmosphere. We could picture her there and it is decorated in the style she likes. We felt it was better suited for her and it wouldn't be overwhelming.

Sunrise of Buckhead is a really nice place. Everyone who works there seems to be happy and smiles and talks to the residents all the time. If you have a problem, just tell your care giver and she/he will get it taken care of. My husband is happy here - which is my number one goal. We are praying he can get well enough to come home. He needs exercise to get strong and Sunrise provides that. Sunrise also gets Home Health Care involved if your loved one needs extra care. We have a Home Health nurse come 3 times a week and a physical therapist and occupational therapist 2 times a week. Sunrise arranged all of this for us. No hassel and no stress, We have been in 3 nursing homes/rehab facilities and Sunrise is the best. We did not know that an assisted living facility could handle a patient like my husband, but they can and they do!! Thank you Senior Advisor!!

I could not ask for a better group of people to be caring for my mom. This place is superb with everything that they do. Mom is still adjusting to the community, but everyone is helping her do so. The community and mom's room is always clean.

We really did like this community. The people were very nice and they answered any and all questions that we had. The community just did not feel right. Also we did not think that the layout of the community would work for mom. Also we got to see a few of the residents out and we liked that, they seemed happy here.

I am happy with the care of this community. My parents were taken care of very well at this community. They both liked the meals. My mom loves the activities that are offered. The community is clean and the staff is so helpful. I would recommend the care and value of this community to other families

I loved this place. This place is very beautiful and had such a welcoming feeling. Extremely clean and the residents and staff all seemed to be very happy. My only concern is the being able to afford the monthly payment until the VA benefit kicks in.

We like this community for the great care. He is offered all the activities, but he has not been active yet. The other residents are happy and it makes us know that it would be a good place. He also had friends that lived there and it has been an excellent choice. We highly recommend the care of this community.
