Sunrise Senior Living

We looked at a few places and decided to move my mom in here. It is very homey and cozy and easy to find your way around. The staff is so friendly and helpful. They are understanding and compassionate. My mom is gluten free and they are accommodating her dietary needs. The chef's assistant [removed] checks on my mom to make sure she likes what they are making. They have good activities and keep the residents busy. It is in the heart of Scottsdale yet on a quite street. One of things we wanted was for her to stay in the same room as her levels of care changes. They can accommodate this request.

I had a tour here and I got to see a beautiful community. However the price to live here was too high. It provided full assistance which what we did not need. The price was too much for us.

So far, Sunrise has been a good fit for my mother. I would recommend this community because they are taking good care of her and have good activities. My mother has partaken in exercise programs, singing, and music events. She is becoming more comfortable. Everyone has different needs and I feel that Sunrise fit hers best.

We toured this community for care. The staff was very caring and nice. The had a variety of good meals that are offered. The community was clean and maintained. We liked the list of activities. We suggest that families tour the community.

Things have been going very well since my mother moved into Parkwood Estates. She really likes the meals, the food is very good there. The staff has been very good to her. They offer a variety of activities that I am hoping she will partake in soon. It has been a good experience so far.

Sunrise presented themselves very well. The people were very friendly. The reason we did not chose them was the cost.

We are very pleased with my mother move to this community. Everything is working out well, and she is doing well. I'm satisfied with all they have done for us. This community is working out well for my family, and I would recommend it. It is a nice facility.

The care here at this nice community. My father likes the staff who are very passionate about what they do and are very respectful to others. The variety of meals is good and health. We like knowing that he is participating in the activities. He likes the small trips away from the community. We would recommend other families to this community for the care of a loved one.

In a difficult circumstance, the community sent a staff to evaluate my parents. They took the time to make a clear assessment to see if my parent are a good candidate to live here. Now my parents are doing well and I can tell they are well kept and getting good care. I like the care and staff that is provided at this community. Their facility is always clean when I visit and everything seems to be well kept. The meals are suitable from the few times I have seen it. I would recommend this community to my friend and family.

We like this Sunrise community better than the other one and so far it would be our first choice if we were moving tomorrow. We do hope to stay in our own home as long as we can. The surviving spouse would most likely go to assistant living.

The facilities are beautiful and the staff couldn't been more helpful or friendly. From the moment we took the tour to the time that we started moving our love one in the staff was there to help. Every individual we passed welcomed us and introduced themselves by name. On the first evening that we moved our family member in, we were invited to a complimentary dinner in the main dining room to make the adjustment easier for our loved one. The food and dinner service was excellent. Each time we visit, we are greeted with a smile and the staff welcomes us by name. We are encouraged to join in the activities when we are there. We couldn't be more comfortable with our decision and can leave after each visit knowing she is in a safe and caring facility.

They answered every question we had during our tour. The staff knew all the residents by name and were very positive. It came down to the style of the apartment and we liked what another community had to offer more.

The staff is taking very good care of my mother I am very pleased so far. My mother can be a picky eater and she likes the food that is served for her here. I feel that they are on top of her care and they are very professional. They never get defensive, so it has been a good experience so far.

The moment I walked into Sunrise I felt like I was home. My dad and I are treated like family. The employees and volunteers are kind, thoughtful, cheerful and caring. The food and dining experience is superb. I live out of state and communication is very important to me. I never have difficulty reaching staff and getting updates. They call me with any changes or needs. After 6 weeks, I remain pleased with everything!

We toured this community for the care for my mom. The staff were all extremely nice and the value would of been good. The community is newer. It has a nice welcoming feeling. Love the mascot dog. Reviews from residents that live there were very good. The meals are very good with a good variety. They seem to offer good activities. The residents seemed to be very happy. The community area for memory care was a bit confined.

[Removed] was a very well informed representative for Sunrise at Rockville. This facility is for assisted living and memory care residents. It is very clean and neat. Residents seem to be well cared for. Some more independent residents are able to go out on there own and shop in downtown Rockville or even take the Metro into DC. Many activities are listed daily so most everyone could find something to do during the day. A few enjoy just sitting in the lobby and watching the "traffic" go by. There is a Lunch Bunch that goes out monthly. Residents also go to plays and/or movies monthly, All outside activities are pay as you go. Touring the place was an enjoyable experience and we would recommend it to others looking for assisted living in their future. [Removed]

We toured this community in our local area. At the time the needs of our parents were few and we considered their AL area for them as a couple. The facility was beautiful, the staff friendly, the entire property appeared to be clean and very well maintained. The offerings of activities for the residents was extensive. We would highly recommend families tour this community for the care of a loved one.
