Sunrise Senior Living

Our mom passed two weeks ago peacefully at 95 years of age. It was gently the time for her. Our gratefulness for Sunrise of Granite Run is epic. After 30 years in Florida she was able to return home on the same road that my husband's parent built a house on in Gradyville thirty-five years prior. She wanted to spend the rest of her life close to home and she did. Sunrise was perfect as it looked more like a lovely hotel than assisted living and it afforded her comfortable days and friendships both with others like herself and the staff. We were grateful that they worked with us on her medication and care with ease. She was there for 5 years eventually moving to the first floor for memory care, and hospice was able to be with her for over three months right there without having to move her out. We cannot imagine a better place for Mom and what she needed. Trustworthy, kind, warm, and just right!

Sunrise is just beautiful. My sister and |I were very impressed. We will certainly keep it in mind although we would like something closer to west side or LaSalle On.

Excellent! All my questions were answered & lots of information provided. The tour was good & everything appeared to be clean! The staff was quite friendly!

We have been to this facility twice and each time came away with very good feelings for our needs. While a bit older the rooms are spacious with good closet space and much light in the rooms. Staff friendly and residents well cared for. Both entrances are pleasing and inviting and allow independents and assisted to intermingle. Plenty of open areas and on all floors, activities plentiful. [name removed] our hostess is good at her job with many years in the business and a treasure trove of information to visitors. I believe that the independent living in this licensed assisted living facility could be extended and enriching. My favorite so far in my search. This opinion derived foma second visit with my wife

I highly recommend this facility. My father loved this place. It gave him his freedom and independence he was seeking. He became very social and content. My siblings and I could rest easy knowing he was happy and safe. The staff was and is AWESOME. The place is very happy energetic alive. Always something to do with the residents. Always including the families. They staff knows everyones names from the residents to the families. The staff is very attentive. My dad did not require a lot of supportive care but when he became ill suddenly the staff came to visit, care for him, sit with him as well as us and cried with us when he passed. My family is grateful for his time at Sunrise and highly recommend this facility.

My father was very happy here. The staff was and is AWESOME. Very vibrant live community. Families always involved. The lobby is always busy with residents either playing word games or watching a movie / sports or listening to entertainment. That is a good sign that your family is not sitting in their apartment alone. The staff knows everyones names. I always felt good knowing he was safe living in this assisted living, he had his independence he was seeking. When he suddenly became ill - the staff came to visit - they sat with us , cried with us and stayed to the end. I wish my mother was alive to experience the care he received I know they would have given her the same care. They still take care of his turtle to this day. I would recommend this facility. My sisters and I actually miss visiting the facility. One of our siblings would go everyday to visit not out of concern but because it was fun and he was having a great time.

I loved this community. I looked at a few and although all were pretty this one felt more warm and friendly. My mom isn't a stuffy person and likes things clean and neat but also welcoming. Unfortunately my mother is refusing to move anywhere right now but I'm glad I got to see what is out there. One thing I noticed that I didn't see at other places was that the staff seemed to like being there and were calling people by their names and seeming to have fun. I could tell the people living there felt comfortable talking and interacting with the staff. No high pressure and very easy decision - once my mother agrees!

I toured Sunrise of Burlington about a month ago. They showed me around the building and answered all of my questions patiently & thoughtfully (and I had a lot!). I toured a number of places and although Sunrise isn't the newest, I feel like they cared the most. You can tell that everyone who works there takes pride in what they do in the gentle way they have with the residents and the respectful manner in which they treat one another. I would hands down give them 5 stars in all categories!

Looks wonderful - happy residents and engaged staff. Expensive but probably worth it.

Sunrise has been the perfect option for our father, who turns 90 this year! He loves living at the assisted living facility in Frisco, Texas. From the food, to the social activities, to the individual care, his experiences have been excellent. I have also enjoyed building a relationship with the team there, who demonstrate genuine love while taking care of dad. I recommend Sunrise of Frisco for your loved ones.

Staff is very friendly and compassionate. We are happy our loved one is in a safe, clean and loving facility.

My mother has been living in the community's memory care for 6 months. She receives personalized care in a small intimate setting. Everyone is friendly and attentive. Happy about my choice.

We really liked Sunrise of Springfield. This was a 'last' minute scheduled tour and the place was clean with activities in motion at that time. The reminiscent floor was also clean, felt like home, and the residents were mostly busy. The rooms and layout were fine. Since Dad is high maintenance he needs the top tier of services. I am sure he would be well taken care of. We are now trying to figure out how we are going to pay the $8100/month fee. We will still need to wait before checking Dad in, but at least we have a place that we would feel comfortable for Dad to live. Thank you.

I loved this place but with the amount of care mom would need, the price gets a little high and not sure mom would take advantage of everything they offer but would never have to worry about her care.

Appt. set for 10:30am on Friday. The facility was great, close to home, wonderful staff, wait list, limited outdoor space and very costly were the only negatives.

For the past 4 years my mom has received loving+ expert care from the staff of the now/Sunrise & Webster groves. Since the transfer to Sunrise her care has improved as well as the nursing at night. We were happy but even happier since June 2017 as they have continued to work to keep her engaged and meet the individual, changing needs through all the stages of her illness + aging. It has been comforting to know that she is in a place where she is safely cared for + happy . thank you all !
