The caregivers have advised me she is not much of a mornings person, but believe is her routine not what they are serving. She just isn't much of a breakfast person. Overall have been satisficed with options given. Have plenty of activities with exercise, volleyball and dancing on Saturday Evenings which she partakes in most of these. Before the heat became about, they would have picnics outside with music and activities. Staff is very friendly and interacts with residents very well. Overall is a wonderful place for the amenities offered.

This community is lovely. It would be perfect for my parents. Friendly staff, spacious rooms, and friendly residents.

This facility maintains the highest level of resident care & comfort from the management personnel, the nurses, care manager, reception & office staff. If there is an issue, it is immediately dealt with.

The staff at Varenita likes working here and they exhibit the love and care to all of us. The residents have a voice in activities, the entertainment & food choices. The maintenance and nursing departments are the best. All is well run.

They don't seem to have too many activities going on during the day for the memory care section. But they're very friendly, and I think they take good care of the people on that floor. It's a nice facility, and her room is nice and roomy and always clean. I like that she has her own private bathroom and shower. And they take care of her laundry as well.

My mother loves it there. Always plenty of actives for the seniors to participate in. They keep her room clean, her clothes are always clean and bed changed. My mother has some memory issues which they are on top of. Thank you for caring for my mother as I love her very much! [name removed]

The staff are wonderful; they're always so friendly, nice, and they look out for my mom. They have a lot of activities, although my mom doesn't always participate in them. She does have vision issues and they offer to assist her in activities like bingo. I think the people are very friendly. [name removed] the owner, is always so helpful and understanding - he's wonderful. He always seems to be there to help the residents with things, even with things that may be above or below his scope. I think the residents could benefit from learning how to protect themselves and be more secure in their personal information and items. Some don't have great memory and can find themselves in situations. [name removed] went above and beyond to help a particular resident who had misplaced her personal items. The community is a secure place, after 7:30pm the main doors outside are closed, locked, and cant be accessed without a key. Which is a great thing, because family members do have a key if they need to access their loved ones after hours. They also provide Lively, which is a life alert-type necklace. So if they fall or get hurt they do have security in knowing they can push that button for help. Holiday is a great place.

I toured Sunrise of Falls Church during Covid, so it was a bit difficult to see the full representation of the community. However, the sales representative was 5 star, she was absolutely fantastic. We chose another Sunrise location because of it's size. We wanted a larger facility, so that mom would have more social interaction options.

So far the community has been friendly, and cooperative with the family and my loved one. The community is able to assist with feeding, medication management, bathing, and dressing assistance as some care types the provide. The community will even do the laundry for my loved one. There is a hair salon on site for the residents to use as well, by appointment.

I toured Sunrise of Bluemont Park and it was very nice; we had a great experience and first impression. The community was a like a hotel with a happy hour bar and other fantastic things. Sunrise has a lot of great services and activities to offer, but my loved one would not have been able to take advantage of those things. We chose another community because Sunrise was not a good fit for us, and it also did not fit into our budget.

I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. The staff are very friendly, helpful, kind, and were wonderful at helping my loved one move into the community. The communication from the front desk to admissions, to the executive director and everyone in between was fabulous.
