[name removed] and the rest of the team were so extraordinary that my mother told me a number of times after her visit to Brighton Gardens that she wants to move there immediately. And my mom is not easy to please. They were so nice to me and my mother, that to some degree they have restored my faith in humanity after a rough couple of years. I loved the food and I loved the staff, and I even loved the residents who welcomed me and my mother with open arms.

My siblings and I were looking at a couple of assisted living places that also offered memory care for continuity of care in the event our parents were to ever need that level of support and touring Sunrise of Hunter Mill was one of the best decisions our family made during our research process. The location is in the heart of Oakton, a residential homelike setting with lots of trees and a safe walking path. It was close to my sister's home in Vienna and my brother's home in Fairfax. Met several residents and family members that shared they love being there. We felt the love and warmth as soon as we walked into the community for our visit. The setting is very intimate with residents actively participating in many interactive activities. All 3 caregivers we met were all in their 20th year working there!! The staff were all professional and we received detailed resources during our visit which left us feeling very confident about our decision which prior to the tour felt overwhelming.

My mom entered Sunrise of Raleigh in May and has had a wonderful overall experience. Everyone there is so friendly and helpful! She received excellent care and I felt very calm knowing she was in such good hands. She attended lots of activities and made some really great friends. She really enjoyed bingo, special brunches, the dining hall, friends, staff, Buddy, the resident dog, and the devotional services. From the time you visit to the time you leave almost everyone is smiling. It has been a true blessing!

My experience at Sunrise of Fairfax has been very good! I met one of my best friends here and although she has now passed away, she was 97 and she was a very good friend to me. All of the other ladies here we are also friends, and we call our table at lunch we call it table 1! We laugh and tell stories and laugh and we play games and activities together like bingo and we have so much fun together. The other residents and the staff are all like my family now. I wouldn't choose any other place they are all really good to me here!

I’ve enjoyed my stay and meeting different people. I really enjoy the activities and understand and relating to other residents. It fulfills my sense of purpose in giving back to others.

From the day I moved in following a brief hospitalization into a respite and road home stay I have greatly benefitted physically, mentally and emotionally by the caring professional and helpful staff here at Sunrise of Fairfax! Now I am finding I am so happy here that I am wanting to call this my home now. I have been thoroughly welcomed by the residents and the staff. It is now an extended family for me!

I think this is a great place. I am impressed with all of the caretakers. They do everything with the best of their ability. They try hard every single day. I am very impressed with everything from the food to the activities to being apart of this very fine community.

Sunrise of Bethesda is a fantastic community. The staff and feel of the building is very welcoming. Everyone always has a smile on their face and are willing to assist no matter what department they work in. The community is always so clean. The friends and family brunches/ events that they throw are out of this world- the chef always puts his spin on things. The programming is unique and very engaging- the happy hour cart is a plus too!

I am the relative of a former resident. We moved my uncle one into the Sunrise of Westfield. We met with [name removed] during this process. Making a life decision of this nature is not an easy thing to do. [name removed] helped us through the process....... [name removed] was a genuine caring, understanding, and compassionate person. And my family and I felt that we had a true advocate who was trustworthy, so that my uncle would not just be a number or a resident, but a person. You just got that feeling about the community, and it starts from the top. Sunrise is not cheap, but you get what you pay for, and I cannot say enough good things about [name removed] and the team at Sunrise of Westfield.

Clean, welcoming. It was active with a lot of residents around. Eating and socializing. Greeted right at the door as I walked in. Residents seemed happy. It's a great place, staff is friendly and caring.

The sunrise tour at Raleigh was truly exceptional! The admissions team went above and beyond, making the experience enjoyable for everyone. They were doing activities in theater room exercising, and it was evident that the care staff genuinely cared for the residents. I liked the model rooms they looked more spacious then I had thought. Although I couldn't persuade my family to make the move from PA, to NC, witnessing the residents' contentment made it clear that this community prioritizes well-being and enjoyment. If I get my family on board later, this is top of my list, thank you guys for your time.

We did an in-person tour, and the experience was excellent. It is so warm, loving, and beautiful. It was easily our first choice. Mom is super happy. The staff were so warm and welcoming, and there seems to be a low turnover rate, so they actually knew the resident's likes and needs. We have nothing but positive feedback.

My mom is a current resident at Sunrise Dix Hills and we can't say enough good things about our experience here. The entire staff is friendly, competent, more than willing to help in any way they can. They regularly keep us updated on my mom's condition both physically and emotionally. It was extremely difficult for me to make the decision to have my mom go to assisted living, but being here now for the past 3 months, I know that she is in good hands.

The overall value for cost is expensive, but you do get what you pay for. What we like the most about the Sunrise of East Meadow community is the staff members. They are amazing and the facilities are outstanding! We would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

Very clean. Studio I looked at was just right. Staff was very helpful. They truly care for the well being of their of their residents. Everyone was friendly and took pride in performing their duties. I would recommend this location to anyone seeking long term care for a love one.

Sunrise Five Forks Tricum is an amazingly wonderful place. My husband, who has Alzheimer’s Disease, has recently spent a short stay in the Memory Care Neighborhood. The staff are all experienced, knowledgeable, long-tenured, and extremely patient and caring (with residents and families!) My husband received individual attention and a specific plan of care to fit his needs. The meals are nutritious and served in a family setting. The activities staff plan fun and stimulating projects for those able to participate but are always available for extra encouragement for all the residents. All of the staff: administrators, nurses, caregivers, medication and activities assistants have made my husband’s stay a home-away-from-home. And including support staff not directly in Memory Care, I felt embraced and supported. I would highly recommend Sunrise Five Forks Tricum as a Memory Care Facility.

Our experience was positive. We picked this community because it was reffered by a friend. I would recommend to others.

I have never found another place like this here in northern Virginia. I was contemplating of putting my mom to Alf because of all the things I heard from friends and family. I read the google reviews and scheduled a tour and up to know my Mom is loving this community. I have recommended this place to few friends and families.

I have been coming to HM for 5 years now. Place is very clean and inviting. The ambience is different from the other place I have been. You will feel at home at this community. My family loves to visit from another state and spend the holiday here every year. This place have a welcoming team too. I will recommend this place.

Everyone was very nice and very helpful at Sunrise of Westfield, even when I call and a staff member has to bring the phone to my mom. Always kind, always professional. Great place, great staff! Very expensive!
