It has been the best experience, I love it, I fought my children about moving out of my home, but it was the best move. I have already met new friends, and a lot I know. The food is a 5 star the chef is great, the staff are all great. I feel very safe here.

I toured here when trying to find a place for my mom to go and it was very nice. It’s a brand new facility and their memory care unit was very bright and colorful. The facility itself is huge. They have assisted living, independent living, and memory care available. Everything was pretty spotless and the people that gave me a tour were very nice as well as the people at the front desk. When I went, there were only maybe 3 residents around because it’s so new and the only resident I saw that was there was not very happy, though it was her first day and first days are always pretty difficult. The person giving me the tour talked to me about the activities they provide like music, crafts, and different things like that. I ultimately chose a different community for my mom that had more specialized care, but this was my choice originally.

My wife has dementia and we moved her to Story Point to be closer to home. During that time, she broke a hip. Due to this we have had experience to four places two for rehab. My appraisal is based on all four. Story Point is for above the other in everything care, food and attitude of all at Story Point.

Anyone who loves their job is truly blessed. [Removed] is such a person. Her kindness and caring attitude toward our mother is more akin to that of a family member. I will never forget her, she is my “sister”. It is a fine community to live in and to enjoy life.

My mom stayed here for a long time and she got sick with a UTI and she came back very weak. She wasn't able to walk as well when she got out of the hospital. So we had to choose another place for mom unfortunately. The staff here were very nice and helpful. There is a wait list here so I would recommend this community that's how good it was.

My grandmother lives at this location. The atmosphere seemed so cheerful and full of life. We moved her from another retirement community a few months back and it felt like a funeral home. Her apartment is larger than the one I live in...lol. The staff that I was able to meet were very nice. Really nice place overall.

Everyone that I have met there has been very friendly and enthusiastic to help my parents as well as keeping me informed with any issues that arise. I meet there once a week just for lunch – always very good. More than fantastic!!

The staff are wonderful! They work hard to create a nice environment for the residents. They are kind, patients, caring and try all the time to help the residents with their needs. I thank everyone for their dedication.

Our [Removed] is a fun real person who gives compassionate caring without any smother love. She gets my concern answered quickly. It is good to see her about the building as she often is. [Removed] is a very good listener who genuinely like what she does and all of us.

Unique – a northern Mich resort and retirement community area. There is a “close” “family feeling” between staff and residents and between residents. Employment potential limited because of location and being a seasonal resort area.

Executive Chef – They are looking for one. However, workers in the kitchen that are excellent – are [Removed] – cook, head of large and smaller dining room – is [Removed] – both are excellent. Also – cooks – [Removed] are both excellent. Workers – that are very good. [Removed] (Sewers) 8. Wellness Coordinator – [Removed] – just plain excellent. Workers under her that are excellent. [Removed]. She is outstanding. They just do outstanding work – They (All of their) are excellent works.

The food is delicious – and the choices are good.

I have been very happy with the care and attention that is given to the residents in memory care.

Amazing place, with amazing features! So much to do and so many options for the residence to have available to them! Well done!

This is a beautiful community.

It’s taking some time for my mom to get used to being here, but the people have just been awesome with her. They’ve really been helpful and friendly and easy to communicate with. They’ve been super to me through the whole process of getting her in and trying to make it as easy as possible to try and make her happy. The staff is all very outgoing and friendly, saying hi to everyone whenever they can. My mom is used to home cooking so she says the food is okay but a lot of the residents tell her how much they love it. The whole facility is excellent and very, very clean. They come into my mom’s room all the time and empty the garbage, do her laundry, stuff like that. It always looks nice. My mom is very particular and she’s pretty pleased with the way things are kept. They have plenty of activities to do, sometimes outings like to the Amish country; they have board games and a nice game room, you can go to their bistro and get free drinks and ice cream, and there are card games. Sometimes we’ll just go in there to the bistro and sit down in the afternoon and I think that’s real nice. All of the other residents seem pretty friendly and welcoming too. I think when it comes to communities, it can get really expensive, but this place is nice and very well maintained. My mom has a kitchen in her apartment with a full sized fridge, a stove, there’s decent living space and a patio off the side that she can sit on. The whole building has big, wide hallways that are bright and light. I highly recommend Danbury!

Chef inspired foods The food at Danbury Woods of Cuyahoga Falls is delicious. You have to separate menus to choose from . If what you want is not on those 2 menus the chef will specially prepare your meal to your liking. You are served 3 meals a day. There are always nutritious snacks available. Danbury also supports local produce markets in the area.

When you walk into Danbury Woods of Cuyahoga Falls you can sense a very loving and caring err about the place. You are greeted with smiles and welcome. At no time did I feel like a stranger .... the facility is immaculate and clean. There is so much going on, I, myself wanted to join in. Food is chef prepared. Staff are very loving with longevity - which in healthcare now is unheard of. Take a tour in the AMAZING facility you will be glad you did. No comparable in area. Secret Shopper
