Front desk girl is so welcoming. I really like the active thing.

Some are willing to do things for me. They put groceries away, put clothes in closet and dressers.

Good staffing and friends. Always there to help with everything.

Our bus driver is wonderful. She helps us when needed. She obeys traffic laws. She stops and looks both ways at railroads.

I have worked in senior care for over 30 years and find Independence Village of Grand Lodge to be one of the nicest communities I have visited. They have the most caring and compassionate employees. It is a vibrant, active community that is very welcoming for residents and visitors.

Grand Ledge is a very nice area and the people are terrific. Everyone that lives here enjoys the river for boating and fishing. There are numerous churches in the area of various faiths and activities.

If you are looking for a residential facility with loving, caring professionals who treat your loved ones like family, Independence Village is the place. 24/7 front desk, restaurant-style dining and activities to keep everyone happy. I highly recommend Independence Village!

Independence Village is a wonderful community with staff that are so helpful and kind. The food, activities and companionship are superior to any facility I have lived in. I love all the staff as if they were members of my family.

Independence Village is the second independent living facility I've lived in. Next to [company name removed] it is paradise. The living areas are bright, updated and it is easy to move about. The management is outstanding, as are all of the staff and kitchen. Communication is excellent. Highly recommend!

Moved my parents into Independence Village Midland in August. The whole staff has made this a great experience for me in getting my parents settled in. They are very attentive to their needs and informing me of all issues. I am relieved to have my parents in a safe caring environment. All the staff has been great but large thanks to [name removed] the executive director for all her help and guidance and to [name removed] at reception for her helpfulness.

The staff members at Aurora Pond are very friendly, and the residents they are very approachable and conversational. It is a good place to make some friends. The food could use some improvements, the original chef left and at that time the food was phenomenal. Now the new chef is having to pack up the food in To-go boxes for it to be delivered to their rooms, and the food may be soggy or cold at times.

Staff: patient, kind, cheerful, knowledgeable, and helpful. Food: good, tasty but styrofoam really disappoints. Facility: clean, well maintained, and decor outstanding. Glad we are here.

We greatly enjoy our lives in the community. It's friendly here and secure we feel safe and happy.

My loved one thought it was a great place, she was able to make lots of friends. In fact, she wishes she would've moved earlier to the community. My mom was able to take her cat and dog with her to the community. If anyone asks about Story Point, I tell them to check them out. She was in the Enhanced Living, which included 3 meals. They even had a cafeteria, which felt more like a bistro. My loved one was able to have friends come over to eat with her. They even allowed her friends come to see her and get manicures as one of the activities. Story Point, have activities every day for the residents to choose from. There is a schedule for the activities. This is a new community, and it can seem like you are paying for every little thing. The staff and activities was wonderful.

Lovely people live there!!

We had my grandmother in this facility and she really thrived here. She was very resistant to be placed in a home but made lots of friends and enjoyed her time here. From eating meals with friends, to playing cards, to doing crafts and the fun activities; the staff went above and beyond to make sure everyone was very comfortable and enjoyed their time. Everyone is very personable in caring for the elderly and their families. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone that is seeking care for their loved ones.
