We would absolutely recommend the Independence Village of FIshers South to other families based on the experience we have had so far. They have very competitive within this type of industry. The meals and dining service is excellent, they have a full size restaurant for the residents with a full chefs service. They have so many activities for the residents to take advantage of - church services, social happy hours, field trips to go shopping, exercise classes and they have even taken the residents to go fishing.

Visited during an event they were having to see if it would be a good place for my aging mother and it was so great! The staff were all very friendly and they had live music playing that was very cool. I got a very good quick tour from one of the staff and she was very helpful and I can tell she genuinely cares about this place. All the facilities I saw looked very clean and in good condition and the rooms themselves were way better than I would have imagined. Now comes the hard part of convincing my mom that she needs a place like this, the easy part of where is already decided!

I recently attended an open house event to meet the new ED. My experience from the time I entered the property till I left was so positive. The parking lot was easy to park and walk into the facility. When I arrived I was warmly welcomed by staff and resident volunteers. There was a band playing and they were very talented and engaging. The facility was busy with residents, loved ones, staff and volunteers enjoying the band, and delicious cocktails and live chefs cooking hors de’vouevres; my favorite was the crepe station. The ED gave me a beautiful tour and informed me about the amenities and services offered. We continued through our the facility and along the way we stopped to enjoy the sweet residents enjoying them selves through out the event. The facility is beautiful, clean, smelling fresh. The food was delicious, staff friendly and programs very enjoyable. I highly recommend this facility.

The community is very safe and friendly environment. They are doing their best in such a difficult situation.

Of the places I viewed, Pinebrook was the best. But none are perfect. There is no good place. They're all understaffed. It's a matter of selecting the least worst. Cost is not favorable for any of them. The care is not as good as we had hoped for. Dining is handled by an outside temp service. You're lucky to get a fork and a napkin, and they don't have time to sit down one-on-one with anybody who needs help. There is probably 1 staff member to 20 residents. I do think this is the nicest in the area though.

After touring StoryPoint Portage for my mom I would highly recommend this senior living facility. [name removed] was extremely warm and welcoming from the start, gave us as much time as we needed for our tour and provided answers to all our questions. Even though my mom is not going to be living there at this time, I would definitely reach out to them again in the future,

My mother is 97 and currently living in an independent apartment. Although she is mostly independent, we know this will diminish with time. We were looking for a community that would allow her independence but be able to address her needs in the future. The community is lovely and we were very impressed with this being a place for my mother to retain her independence and give us comfort that she would be safe.

While visiting this facility I found it to be a lovely, well-cared-for place. Every staff person I encountered was friendly and caring. I witnessed several staff members interacting with the residents and found them to be very attentive and kind. I got to experience a meal and found it to be quite delicious. I would feel very confident in having a loved one live at this facility.

I visited a loved one at storypoint and thought the facility was really nice. The event I attended was fun and everyone seemed to enjoy it. The staff was very friendly and truly cared about my loved one.

I took my grandmother on a tour here. The staff was friendly and the facilities were very nice! Everything was clean, warm, and inviting! I highly recommend looking into storypoint for your loved ones.

You can really tell the staff enjoy being at Holiday Aurora Pond, they not only treat the residents with respect but also the visiting families. Also the meals are absolutely delicious. They do have activities going on, which just don't really know what activities they have that interest our loved one.

StoryPoint Waterville was fabulous. They provided very personalized care and made sure we had everything we needed, including hospice care. The staff at StoryPoint was better even than the hospice group and paid more attention to my loved one and to me. I felt a connection with several of the girls there who went over and above, especially [name removed] and [name removed] , who were assigned to the room and were there all the time to help.

Based on our families experience so far we would recommend StoryPoint Romeoville to other families.

This is a very active community. Top notch care at every level. Caregivers go above and beyond, and residents are treated like family. I hope to live in a place like this some day.

Staff members are very helpful and the environment is friendly. Any time we make a visit to service Independence Village of Avon Lake, the staff members are always willing to assist and the feel of the environment is cheerful.

I was fortunate to find StoryPoint when looking for a senior living that would enable me to have medical help when needed. StoryPoint has activities that we enjoy (exercise, table topics, Wii bowling, mindful meditation, chair volleyball) and wonderful food!

My experience was delightful, engaging and fun as the atmosphere provided and environment conducive to connecting with staff and the community, family, and residents!

Everyone on staff is so helpful and nice. They go out of their way to be of assistance.

This is a lovely community with an even better staff. I love how fresh and new it looks, as well as how delicious the meals are. I would really recommend looking into StoryPoint Portage for senior living.

I can’t say enough good things about the staff at Story Point. They are the most caring, creative and cohesive staff. The activities they offer for their residents go above and beyond. They always have quality entertainment. In addition, the sense of family and community they promote extends to their residents who always feel included. Finally, their reach into the community of Grove City should be a model for other assisted living facilities.
