The staff at Farrington Court went above and beyond to make my parents feel comfortable. and at home. Any concerns were addressed quickly and well. The food was excellent - fresh and tasty. The kitchen stayed open longer hours than most other places we checked. The grounds and residence were well maintained and beautifully decorated during the holidays. Many interesting social activities were offered, both in residence and out and about.

Newer facility, near huge hospital/health clinic complex. Food was good; 'anytime dining'.

I am so impressed with the care, compassion, empathy and professionalism of the entire staff. They greet each day, are happy and full of energy. I come every 3 months or so to see my mom just to check on her care. I have never been disappointed

I work in the medical community and I’m spent quite a bit of time at the Pacifica San Martin senior living Community here in Las Vegas. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top notch community for themselves or a loved one. The apartments are stunning, the food is incredible and staff is exceptional.

My mom loves this place. She is more active, social, and happy. Good food, great people, this really is my mom's new home.

We toured at Pacifica first, and met [Removed], who was very nice. My loved one has moved in to the community, and she has a very spacious 800 square foot apartment. She seems to be warming up pretty well to the community overall. The food is great, the people are very nice, and it is definitely a clean facility. I would certainly recommend Pacifica Senior Living to other families.

Mom was her for almost 6 weeks and unfortunately had an accident and she had to be move to a community that has 24 hour care. But we were really impressed with the care and the facility. She had a studio apartment here and they would come in and clean it weekly. The staff was helpful and nice. She did attend a couple of daily activities. It has 2 or 3 nice courtyard areas and a greenhouse shuffleboard area also. I would recommend this community.

This facility was excellent! While on tour, some of the staff members were making margaritas and they even offered me some! The staff was nice and the residents were very friendly. Everyone here was just so helpful and they answered all of my questions clearly. I really like that they are pet friendly too! Unfortunately, I didn’t pick this facility for my sister because it was more expensive than other places I would recommend this community to other families.

All of the staff members at this facility have been friendly and they have done what they said they would do. I ended up picking this community over everyone else because they did have the friendly atmosphere. The facility is clean and tidy without feeling institutionalized. They have a nice dining room and my Sister loves the food. For activities they have card games, Christmas programs, and Wii bowling. I would recommend this community to other families.

My Mom is here currently and she really likes their “anytime dining” policy. The dining area is open from 7am to 7pm. They have certain foods they offer that are the same thing every day and then they have plenty of other options to choose from. The staff seems friendly and nice and we haven’t had any problems with them. There are lots of activities going on during the week like bingo and church services on Sundays. They even have events going on for the holidays. They really have a lot for the residents to participate in and stay active and socializing. The facility is kept very clean and housekeeping comes by once a week. When I saw this facility, the staff, and the cleanliness, I decided it was the best. Honestly, I don’t think I could’ve found a better place.

This is a fairly new facility. I believe it's been open a year or possibly less. Very nice and out of our price range. It is Private Pay.

Genuine care is evident here and they have very current approaches to senior life. I love that they recognize the need to give the residents purpose and not just housing.

My wife and I are here currently and have been for a couple of months and so far things have been okay. I’m impressed with the staff and they’re doing an excellent job. They’ve been very, very helpful. The food is nice in the dining room, but in the memory care area it seems to be redundant and they don’t offer a whole lot of options. There’s plenty of it, though, and it’s very nutritious and palatable. It just seems like you get the same thing every day for breakfast, but that’s okay. The facility is kept pretty clean, but they’ve never been in to my apartment to clean it and that might be because I’m still able to clean it. They’ll make my wife’s bed and help her get dressed, though. We don’t have any issues with the staff or the other residents. My wife doesn’t always eat very well but the staff is there to help her eat every time. I’ve already recommended them to others.

Mom chose this place after walking in and seeing a friend from church and it got better from there. They showed us the available room and we loved it ,it was sunny and overlooks the courtyard. And it is right by the elevator since she has 2 dogs which was another plus but it was easy to take them outside. The Food is really good and the staff is helpful and friendly. They have gone to the casino and they play bingo. They take her and a friend to church on Sundays and even let them stay for coffee and pick them up after they are done. I would recommend this to anybody.

I have been at North Star for about a month now, and I am very pleased so far. The staff is so friendly and cooperative, maintenance and housekeeping are both very pleasant, and are right there to take care of you needs. The meals are great with a very good variety of options. They also have a number of games, exercise glasses, a gym, and outings for the residents. It’s a very lively and social community, and I’m really enjoying living here.

When my mom and I were looking for a place for her to live, we read some of the reviews of this community and were a little worried that they would overpromise and under deliver, but they have more than what we expected. We walked in and my mom said “I love this place” within the first minute of being there. Since she’s been there (only about a month or so), I’ve noticed that they have a movie playing almost every day and from what I can tell, that’s just a minor activity. They have professors that will come in from the University of Utah to give lectures on different things like current events. And once a week, they all play a game called Banana-gram, which is like Scrabble. They even had an Oktoberfest, which was like being at a wedding – they had music, dancing, and games, it was great. Every resident can sign up for a personal driver to take them to their doctor’s appointments and once a week the driver will take everyone out to sight see. It’s all very engaging and my mom loves it. The only things that they charge extra for are to take the residents to other places for entertainment, like a show or the theater, and cable, which is $9 a month. Like most places, there’s a specific area that they like to stick to so they typically keep their trips within Salt Lake City Monday through Friday and on Sundays they’ll take everyone to church. Of all of the places that we visited, we knew this one wouldn’t have the best food but my mom was concerned about gaining weight so that wasn’t much of a factor when deciding to move her in. The dining room is in the center of the building and all of the residents’ rooms open up to the center, so you can actually see who’s sitting in the dining room. However, we were more focused on the environment, the intellectual curiosity, and the programs that she would like to take place in. From the first moment she walked in, she liked how it was decorated but also liked that the waiting area was a little library with books that she liked to read. It really showed her the type of stimulation, intellectually, that she would be getting. The whole facility is very clean and all of the housekeeping is included into the one price for rent. They wash the sheets and the towels each week, or you can do it yourself. Something I learned on my own that they don’t advertise about is that if you’re the one helping your loved one move in, the facility will provide lunch for you for free for the week and I guess they do that to encourage people to help their family members get settled into their new environment. I have noticed that they tried to get my mom to use a walker, though she doesn’t need one, and a lot of the residents seem to be using one, but I think it’s more of a preventative measure than anything else. Lastly, there are different types of rooms you can get with different views. The first place they showed us was this gorgeous room with a view of the mountains and my mom wound up paying just a little more for that room. It’s on the top floor and in really good condition; her closet is so big, it’s not considered “walk-in” anymore, but rather “walk-through”. It’s about 9-10 feet long and has storage on both sides of it. Overall, I would recommend this place for others. I hope more people like my mother continue to go there because the place is great, but the people also make the place. She loves it here.

I was looking for a place for my dad and once I toured the Oaks, I thought “wow, this is gonna be hard to beat.” I was absolutely right. This place is incredible. They respond to emails, phone calls, visits in person, they just responsive. If I need to adjust something, they work with me. They’re attentive and if I express concern about a particular issue, they address it in a way that I think is satisfactory. The leadership is visible and available and they don’t hide. They just run a really good facility and the staff is great, hands down. The facility provides transportation to and from appointments and we, the family members, are encouraged to make those appointments on Tuesdays or Thursdays so they can keep everything coordinated. As far as I know, there isn’t any charge for transportation, only for an escort if your loved one needs it. I haven’t tried the food yet, personally, but every time I’ve been in the facility, it’s smelled incredible. I’ve had other family members go and eat with my dad there and they even report that the food is incredible and that it looks good. The cleanliness of the whole place is nothing but pleasant. It’s very, very clean. I don’t know how frequently housekeeping comes in, but I’ve come in at unpredictable times and anytime I’ve ever been in there, whether it’s very early in the morning, late at night, or in the middle of the day, it’s clean. From his room, to the hallways and the main meet and greet area, it’s always spotless. They keep a daily calendar of activities to do for the morning, afternoon, and evening, and there’s always something going on. The other residents are very friendly with my dad and I love that he’s been able to make friends quite easily. Considering the level of care that my dad needs, I think the price is incredibly reasonable and I’m very pleased. I would absolutely recommend bringing your loved one here.
