the director is a very nice person and is engaged with everyone. He really wanted the residents to live in a nice place. They had a birdcage in the hall for the residents to feed a bird. The staff is very nice and went above and beyond to care for my loved one. the facility is extremely clean and neat. The communication was great. We received calls every 4-6 weeks with updates and they communicated their covid plan very well. They tried to make sure to come up with unique ideas so that we could see our loved one, including a parade, and a conversation outside with 6 ft of distance. I would recommend this community

We chose Senior Star because of the location. The apartment sizes here are adequate for my dads needs. The best part about the community so far has been the peace of mind knowing he is safe. I do think that the facility needs to offer more activities to the residents even during COVID, they can't leave so they are going stir crazy. I would recommend.

The activities at Overlake Terrace would be a five plus, they had happy hour, bingo, music, and pool tables. They have a place for you the exercise and have movie night. There were a bunch of things offered if you wanted to participate. The food is what brought us back to this community a lot. Our loved one was a chef and he was very picky and he thought it was outstanding. They offered a lot of variety.

Everything at Lakewood Reserve is great, even during this time they are doing a wonderful job. When we were able to go visit everything was very comforting and everyone was very nice. We were able to eat a few meals and it was nice, i enjoyed it!

The Reserve of North Dallas is 5 star. The price is right. The staff is so kind and everyone of them wants to make you happy. The apartment I live in is beautiful with full kitchen, washer and dryer. They offer so many activities at no additional cost. The food is like a regular restaurant, many choices and excellent staff. I am so very pleased with everything here. I welcome everyone to come live here.

You could not ask for nicer people.

Moving someone in during covid could have gone horribly. The staff was very helpful and worked with us to get things moved. As things start to open, they are still very careful and thoughtful with their processes.

Thank you for having [name removed] full time. She is so creative and a wonderful artist. She has added so much insight to our daily lines teaching, art, and heading class. There is computer help and many exercise classes.

This community is great. Staff is wonderful, caring, and helpful. One of the best classes, lead [name removed], fiber art, beading, painting, tech support, and exercising. She is so very good and patient. She works with me on entering art shows and competitions very versatile and accommodating!

This has been the best place for us, better than other places we were at.

I have been here for years and started in independent living and now am in assisted living. They help me get better and everyone is very devoted. I look out my window to beautiful big trees. I love the arts and crafts, they keep my brain going and keep me occupied. I am making snack bags for lunches for local children in need. I am able to rest when I want and stay busy when I want. They make sure you don't just sit around, they get you involved. They are like family to me and always rooting for me. They speak with my daughter and she knows everything I'm doing and what I'm working on...my daughter is very happy I am here.

With what is going on in the world right now, I am glad they are taking such good care of us and feel safe. They check our temperatures and we even have a Doctor who is able to visit us. I am in assisted living and they all take such good care of me. Everyone is friendly and kind, I have made lovely friends. All of my laundry is done for me and the clean my room nicely. They bring me breakfast in the morning and its just what I like. We go to the dining room for lunch and dinner. I am able to choose what I want to eat and the food is good. I like to walk a lot everyday and I can walk around the entire building through all the hallways. Playing Bingo is one of my favorite things to do and the prizes are always fun! I would recommend this to anyone!

I really like living here! It has made my life so much easier! I was unhappy and lonely living at home alone and make the decision by myself to move to Atria before telling my children. It was the right decision for me, It gave me relief to know that there are always people around to help. The residents are nice and I am happy to have their company. I enjoy that I am able to play pool in the billiards room and am able to walk around the entire community, I feel safe because it is gated. A few of my favorites on the menu are the chicken tenders and meatloaf.
