Spring Oak Senior Living

We toured the Spring Oak at Vineland. The community is very beautiful and well-kept. The staff was very friendly and answered questions regarding the amenities provided. We chose another community based on our budget needs.

We had a pretty nice tour of this community, everything went well overall. The community for what we saw was well-kept. The staff we met was friendly, and helpful. Our questions were answered. There were many factors that played into where to move my mother in law to for her needs. The tour was a nice one, but this was not the right fit for us.

My father has recently made the move into this community and so far I have no complaints of how things have been going for him. The staff have been friendly and have made sure to accommodate his needs to the best of there ability. He enjoys participating in some of the activities with the other residents as well as the dinning experience for meal times. Overall we are very happy and would recommend it to anyone.

This is a beautiful community. The assisted living area does offer more activities and amenities than the memory care unit. The assisted living area has a library, store and a nice dining hall. The food looks good and healthy. They do offer a few choices in the memory care unit.This is a family organization and we like this. They are working with us in regard to the financing and I would recommend this community.

This is a nice community, and my parents are doing very well with their move here. I know they are safe, and in good hands at this facility. Everything is working out very well. They have a good staff, they are very helpful, and polite. The community is very well maintained, and they clean my parents apartment pretty much everyday. I do feel comfortable with their move to this community, and I would recommend it.

My husband's mother-in-law from his first marriage has been at Spring Oak for almost 2 months and we're very happy with this facility. Her room was not quite ready when we initially moved her in, but our requests were immediately addressed. Her room is very large with 2 large closets and a bargain for the monthly charge. The staff is very caring and very helpful. Mom has commented several times on how much she likes her aides and the nurses. We are very happy with how well Mom has adjusted.

This is a nice community. They presented the food well. It was a buffet style dinner and the staff would prepare the residents plates for them so they did not have to stand in line. They did not however clean his room as often as they do at the community he is currently at. The staff were nice and attentive. They offer a lot of activities.

The Spring Oak at Toms River was a very nice facility, but it was too big. When I went in to take a tour, I couldn't even find the elevator. It was too much going on for my mother I wanted some place smaller and easier to get around.

The staff is great with mom and they are attentive to her needs. The food can use a little work on though. Mom has been getting into the exercise classes and some arts and crafts projects. The room and the community is clean. Mom loves her apartment. The feel and good vibe of this place is the main reason why we chose them and we are happy that we did.

This community is a little less expensive than the community mom is currently living in. The people I met were nice and were on the ball when answering my questions. The community seemed clean when I visited.

My mother is doing well since her move. She is still adjusting to all of the changes. The staff are all very nice and keep her safe. She likes the food and the place is always very clean. It is a very nice looking facility.

I am happy with the care that my mother is getting here. The staff are really nice and caring. She is trying to adjust to a few small things. She seems to be happy with the meals and the variety. The activities are offered to her and try and encourage her. She does participate often. . We would recommend the community for the value and the care to other families.

It was a nice experience for my mother here at this community. She was here for a respite stay. Everything went pretty well and I was satisfied. She was safe and cared for well. Overall It was a good respite stay experience.

My tour of this facility was okay. It is a bit smaller than I would like for my father. The facility is little older, and the community could use some updating. The staff was kind and very informative. I did enjoy my tour of this community.

I think Spring Oak at Berlin is a very nice place, overall. The staff here is friendly and professional, and they take great care of the residents. They've also got a good cleaning and laundry service. Over the holidays they even had a few parties which family members were welcome to attend. I thought it was a nice gesture!

Overall, especially the marketing person and the manager, they are very warm and welcoming and that's what made me like the place. They know everybody by name, which is very impressive. Just overall the friendliness and the caring is what got me. They go out of their way. The only thing that can be improve upon is the food.

At Ivy Ridge some staff are exceptional and some are not. Most of the staff are exceptional. They have a singer come in and other activities. I would just like to see a few more activities. Their food needs to be more healthy. It's sandwiches, or hamburgers, and tater tots. When the staff first initially talked to us on the phone it seemed like they were more accommodating but once you get in they aren't as accommodating. Mom couldn't go to the bathroom on her own and the nurses only come in at specific times. They don't seem to tailor to her needs. Some of the nurses really goes above and beyond.

They were very helpful in getting my loved one in there and made some special circumstances because of her condition. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Everyone there at Ivy Ridge was just really good.

My mother has been in the Amerisist of Louisa since May. The facility is clean and the staff is very friendly. The facility has an overall "homey" feel. There are not a lot of level one care residents, so it doesn't seem that there are many activities that hold my mothers interest. I wish I would have checked the care level ratio to residents a little more thoroughly before deciding on this facility. Overall my mother is happy living there.
