Spring Hills

Our family had an in person tour and the staff members were very very helpful, everyone we met with was fantastic. The facility itself was wonderful but we were just not interested in the memory care part of it - it was to smaller. However if she was able to live on the assisted living side we think it would of been a phenomenal place

It's a very good experience. From the ownership and management right down to the staff and nurses - everybody has been very kind, friendly, and informative. They connect with a platform called Life Loop, where they take pictures of activities and things and post online for the family to see how our loved one is doing.

A few years back my mom and dad moved to spring hills and it wasn’t their first rodeo with a retirement home. My dad was hard to please and found fault everywhere and my moms memory failing her never helped. They left one facility for another and then rented an apartment, but my wife and sister in law figured it wasn’t safe for them anymore so they reached out to spring hill. To make a long story short [name removed] won her way into dads heart and moms also. There longest stay at a facility was at spring hill with minimal complaints and it was mom and dads home truly. When they passed,[names removed]the housekeepers, activities gals and chef attended their services. To this day, 2 years later I receive a card on the anniversary of their passing with a funny story written in or a joke my dad used to tell. And once in a while we still talk about the Ruben on the menu which was dads favorite.

Right when we walked in, we knew this was not going to be the right fit for our grandmother. The atmosphere seemed very dark and depressing and that is not what we wanted. The people were all very nice though and gave a good thorough tour.

I would highly recommend them. I tried to get my parents to go there but they didn't want too. They have so many activities like finger painting, movie night, and ice cream social, etc. They keep them moving and busy. The staff is all very attentive. Any questions or problems, they are all there to help solve them. We had to move our loved one and they were very helpful in getting my loved ones belongings moved into her new room which we did not expect, but was very appreciated.

They took really good care of my mom in her last days. It's a good option aside from a rest home where they basically take everything you have. I was very pleased with Spring Hills. They had activities, and would take my mom to the rec room to play cards and games and things like that. It was kind of pricey, but a good value. They took good care of her.

[name removed] who gave the tour was great, she was very personable and followed up with us. Here, you get 1/2 the square footage for a higher price compared to others we were looking into. It is a smaller facility too and it felt cramped, especially in the hallways. It was depressing and not a good fit.

I toured this community for my mother and was very impressed with the staff, the facility and the food! We look forward to moving mom to this beautiful facility!

Our first impression right away was just how friendly the staff members where. They brought so many different ideas to the table, they were always available and always were willing to help out. During the first week of her adjusting they called us everyday to keep us updated and that was something we really appreciated.

I would recommend that your loved one be able to speak to the caretakers. It would be nice for the staff to be able to care for the hygiene of my loved one more frequently without having to be asked. The community is very friendly and beautifully decorated inside.

The location of Spring Hills really drew us in, as well as the price it was one of the cheaper communities we had found. We have been extremely happy with everything so far. The facility itself is very very nice, and the staff members are really friendly.

We had a great tour with Spring Hills Cherry Hill, the staff spent a lot of time with us answering our questions. It was a very nice place but the rooms are single rooms and we were looking for more of an apartment looking space.

The first impression we had right away was how clean and well kept the community it. Based on our experience so far we would recommend the Spring Hills Somerset community to others.

I liked Spring Hills Singing Woods. I liked the staff that we met. We didn't get to see the memory care unit on our tour though, due to Covid. And I didn’t want to make a decision until we saw it. But I have a friend whose loved one - who is very particular - is there, and they like it.

Everything seems to be going really good so far with the meals and dining service, and our loved one is kept busy with activities. It is expensive, but compared to others in the area it is no higher or no less. Also the location is key, it is right next to everything our loved one would need.

I have no regrets at all with placing my loved one here . Her apartment is clean and she is clean and the community is very bright and cheery and not dreary like other communities. There are some staff that are very cheery and great and then there are others that are a little more standoffish and I feel like just trying to get to know me better. They are really on top of the care services, my loved one wandered off early in the morning and we got a call that morning to put a wander guard on her and within 24 hours it was done to make sure that she was good and taken care of. This community is very responsive and the staff are on it right away. They had a visitation regulation and it was a little hard they listened to feedback and now the hours have increased with a few other rules to protect the residents. They for sure listen to what the families have to say. They also have a nice selection of food for the residents. They have activities like piano and sing a longs, and bingo. My loved one would like more movie nights and card games but with more staff this may change. This was one of the most affordable places that I found in my search.

We chose Spring Hills Somerset because when we walked in we felt comfortable. [name removed] the communications director was a big part of that she is amazing. The room sizes here are adequate for her needs. The staff have been extremely friendly and they try so hard to engage with the residents. I do think that they need to update some things such as the laundry and the food information, they could be clearer. I would absolutely recommend to others looking and already have.

We spoke to this community about senior care and they were very informative and professional.

Our family had a virtual experience, and it was really nice. They were able to take us around the community and see different rooms.

Thank you for providing a personal touch with our family as we searched for an Assisted Living Home for our mother. We were impressed by your team’s proactive engagement with our family; the ease of reviewing and learning more about all support services (PT, OT, Medication Management) as mom ages; and, most importantly, the intentional efforts to support Mom’s desire to have as much independence as possible, with caring staff at her side as needed. We were equally impressed with the social and recreational activities available, as well as the excellent dining options. We look forward to our continuing relationship with Spring Hill.
