Spring Hills

I can come in and leave according to my mostly afternoon/evening hours availability. My uncle who is a picky eater loves the food and input he has on the menu. Facility is always clean and the staff pleasant.

We are very happy with Spring Hills Hunters Creek. The staff is very visible. The meals are bland, but plentiful. I like the option that family can join them at a meal by paying $10 cash when they come. The activities are plentiful and we get documentation of what our loved one attended via the Loop app. The only confusion we've had is with the onsite physician company. I placed "use if I need them"- versus use them or not to use them (we still kept our primary for this year) but they switched everything over even though I didn't ask for that, even my loved one's medication which is free if we don't use their service. It was a bit of a headache switching things back. My loved one has early Alzheimer's, but always states that the staff is nice and she is well cared for. My family visits several times a week and her apartment is always spotless and entire facility smells lovely.

Our family had an in person tour with Spring Hills Mount Vernon and based on the tour we felt it was a great tour experience

It had a good mix of both English and Spanish speaking residents and staff. We liked that it wasn't too large of a community. The pricing was reasonable. The staff is friendly and helpful, the food is made fresh and is very good, the residents we have met were all nice.

I have visited this community on three occasions . I have observed the staff are very engaging either the residents. They have fun social events for the residents and a majority of the events, they invite the families of the residents and outside guest. The events are great especially to observe the residents truly enjoying themselves. Great community. The staff are very hands on and attentive to the resident’s needs and guests. This community does not disappoint in the care of their residents. They seem genuinely concerned.

We really enjoyed our tour of Spring Hills. It seemed like a very nice, well run facility. The woman who gave us the tour was very friendly and knew the names of most, if not all, of the residents. The dinner options looked amazing. We probably would have chosen Spring Hills but we chose a place which was a little closer to our home. I know someone whose mother was at Spring Hills and she had a excellent experience. I also thought the Spring Hills contact was the most personable.

I currently volunteer for the Spring Hills Facility and I've been volunteering since December. Volunteering here has been nothing but great, the staff always try to go above and beyond for their residents so they could have an enjoyable time. There are many options for activities like dancing, exercising, word games, board games, ect. These activities always make the residents have a good time.

[name removed] is a gift to this community! Her intelligence and outgoing demeanor make everyone feel at ease and cared for! She originates, plans and executes daily activities we all enjoy! She was made for her job, and I hope she is here forever! Pat Slakie

Mom or dad will never be bored. The activity department ([names removed] and others) do an excellent job keeping everyone engaged and entertained. They will go room to room and ask if people want to go to certain events! It’s top notch. They frequently have socials and musical events and even give residents a chance to play their own music. A+ for the activities department!!!

The activity team makes all the activities so interesting and engaging physically and mentally, a great body and mind workout. Team is wonderful and comes up with new and innovative ideas every day in order to keep residents happy and healthy.

I am a Tai Chi Instructor at this facility. The residents are always for happy and ready for practice with such enthusiasm. The staff is always inclusive with the activity and provide a great deal of patience with the residents. The great and handle the residents with such care as if they were their own family member. I really enjoy working with the residents and the staff.

Activities does a great job engaging the residents by bringing them out of their rooms to participate in daily activities. I can see the residents enjoy the activities and the activities team motivates them to continue to thrive. They are respectful when they engage with residents and they are compassionate. Activities rocks!

Best balanced and number of choices on the menu by far of the communities in central Jersey. Staff and business office are flexible, nursing care is attentive, and personnel friendly always willing to engage.

The Activities Team at Spring Hills Mount Vernon is exceptional. The care, passion, personalization, attention, and exciting activities they create and foster at Spring Hills is unmatched. The energy they bring to the residents and building is palpable. They truly are the spirit of Spring Hills Mount Vernon. Every resident has so much fun and looks forward to the day's activities. They encourage each resident to live their best life, and they meet them where they are at. As a healthcare professional, it is so encouraging to see how they are adding so much quality to the resident's lives. Truly remarkable!

Honestly, I would give them a five in all categories. We have been nothing but happy with them since my mom has been there. I have been so pleased with the care my mom has received at Spring Hills Middletown. The residents all seem happy and are out and about as opposed to other places where everyone was in their rooms with doors closed. The staff in every single department is wonderful and they truly care about the residents. I would highly recommend Spring Hills to others looking.

Due to unforseen circumstances we had to plan and move into a new facility in a very short time. A place for mom was excellent to work with and connected us with [name removed] at Springhills. Her positive energy and compassion helped us make our decision. The move couldn't have gone more smoothly. [name removed] and [name removed] were very responsive to communications, questions and requests. Since moving in it has been a great experience. The staff is awesome. Many of the staff have been there for a long time and are always willing to help, friendly and go out of their way. And the food!! I've eaten in the dining room several times and the menu is very extensive, diverse and restaurant quality. Yesterday I had salmon and asparagus!!

Overall the facility is fine. A little tired in some places but located in a central easy accessible area. Staff overall was wonderful to us. Very helpful and caring. That is all of the staff, housekeepers, aids and nurses. Especially the last week and after Donna passed. I remained for about two weeks and everyone was caring and kind to me. I would return if my health and condition warranted.

The staff respond very quickly to our questions, requests, and concerns. They are friendly and helpful with my loved one and family. The food is great and the residents have no specific time that they are required to go. I do wish the value was better, at any of the assisted living communities to allow money to go further.

Very caring staff that truly go above and beyond. I have had the opportunity to visit many of the spring hills community’s and have found them all to be ran and operated by the most caring people available. Two thumbs up!

We toured with Spring Hills and it would have been a perfect location, but unfortunately they didn't have a shared room available.
