They have really great caregivers and some have been there since the community opened. I would highly recommend the community to others. The staff keep the family updated on our loved one's evaluations. My loved one loves the activities and being in the community. There are three meals a day served to the residents and there are choices to choose from. The community keeps the residents engaged with social activities with other residents to keep the residents out of their rooms.

My loved one was here a short time, but the staff and residents were very friendly and helpful. (name removed) and (name removed) were great to work with!

We had a very positive tour experience with The Enclave. I like that they offered 3 levels of care, independent, assisted living, and memory care. The facility was very small with only about 24 residents in memory care. With it being so small, they are able to tailor the care to your loved ones needs. The facility was very clean and nice.

Very nice....good food....fun activities....nice residents and staff! I moved here from southern CA and I'm very glad I did!

Respected for ideas and allowed to be a separate person. Encouraged to have friendships and activities. Being safe feeling environment and staff assists mandatory. Too much influence of corporate on friendships and devices (needs to be local). Emphasis on kindness and cooperation.

No complaints. At 104 years of age, I am very content here and get around in a small wheelchair. If I need help it is always available.

The compassion and helpfulness of the staff are the main reasons I am happy here. Their suggestions and enthusiasm are contagious.

This is a caring community and my dad is very happy there. Meal service has some staffing issues and need up their budget for better entertainment but overall this is a great place. Clean, well maintained and welcoming.

I checked our seven other facilities before touring Palos Verdes and liked this facility most of all. The people are friendly, the care is absolutely wonderful, and all the staff members are truly caring and efficient. I really enjoy living here!

This community is fairly new, but it's really great and is growing! I have no doubt that it will continue to go well. Maintenance has been very responsive and helpful. The staff is just great, we really love the staff here. Mom has chosen not to participate in very many activities yet, but the few she has done she has really enjoyed. They're working on encouraging her to participate more. Her apartment is phenomenal. Housekeeping is every other week and they do great. I would absolutely recommend them to friends and family.

The community is clean, friendly, and has a great atmosphere that make them stand out. The staff communication with the family is good when we have questions about our loved one. My loved one is really enjoying the food, and they have a new chef. They have lots of things to do for the activities. They have two floors. In the apartments, they have pretty standard sized microwaves and refrigerators, which was a bonus.

[name removed] and [name removed]made us feel truly welcomed. They were very easy to work with and genuinely care about the residents. The residents are also very friendly. We love it at Shawnee Hills. Everyone goes out of their way to make you feel welcomed. The staff, especially, are very caring and show interest in what is going on with the residents. The Thursday Happy Hour and music is something we look forward to weekly. Can’t wait to start going to the movies. We are so happy we decided to move to Shawnee Hills. This was the best decision and our family loves the facilities.

Westbrook Senior Living gave a great tour - they were very thorough. We were introduced to the director and other staff, beyond just the sales person. For me, the key when looking for any long-term care facility - especially memory care - is a homey, comfortable environment, as opposed to an atmosphere that is hospital-like. The memory care wing at Westbrook was impressive. It had that homey feeling we were looking for. The entrances to the residents' rooms look almost like front porches. Each room has a shadowbox on the outside where you can put personalized items for the resident to recognize the room as their room. I found Westbrook to be very similar to the place that we chose. They just didn’t have space available at the time.

The staff is very friendly, the residents are also. It's a positive environment. And great help from the OT staff. My Mom doesn't like the in room meals, but that might be her being picky. Some problems with meds.

I was so impressed with Westbrook. It has a very welcoming atmosphere. Friendliness and helpfulness are evident to all. The staff and residents truly care for each other. The facility is beautiful. It looks like an upscale hotel. Everything, inside and outside, is well maintained.

Shawnee Hills is a great place to live. My dad loves meeting new people, and he likes the quiet location and activities.

I had a great tour experience with The Enclave at Gilbert. They are actually owned by the same company of that facility that we ended up choosing. they had a lot of great features/amenities offered for the residents. It just came down to the price for us.

We picked this community because, of the availability, and it was a center location for family. The facility is very comfortable and the doctor and staff are very good.
