The quality of the care services is a 5+. We rating the staff down due to poor financial communication and process. With the activities, our loved one wasn't able to use much, however my mother had THE BEST CARE! She had been in one other assisted living that was very nice but the care here was exceptional. They treated her like their grandma. They hugged her, visited her and took amazing care of her.

4.5 on all categories. Since our loved one has been there, their balcony for their room has been completely rebuilt, and is now usable; floors in the main areas have been completely replaced and they enjoy being there. Our loved ones own rooms were always in good shape except for the fridge, but that was replaced also. The food was ok, but our loved one said a regular chef was hired, and the food also had improved

My aunt has been at the Wellington for about 6 weeks. I have seen her make efforts to get more involved. We appreciate that she has two meals a day, housekeeping help, and an interesting variety of activities. Everyone we've encountered has been friendly and helpful. We are still waiting for her kitchen cabinet doors to appear. She seems to be happy where she is and the accommodations are very nice.

The communication is not the greatest- but overall everything has been good! Takes a while to have emails returned! Communication issue between the community and administration/intake! Short staffed doesn’t help!

Staff are very friendly and always helpful . Residents are very friendly and outgoing, and try to include newcomers to everything..

I think Rose Arbor is the perfect place for my Mother and Stepfather to be, given their health situations, as the location is close to me and great for access to numerous medical services, shopping, restaurants, as well as parks and recreation within close proximity. The care and support staff is very friendly overall and are as responsive as they can be given the staff shortages and turnover during the past year, including a complete turnover of the management staff over the past 7 months so I'm having some difficulty figuring out how to provide a fair assessment as they work through the transitions and needed improvement measures, which I anticipate will be very positive. As with any community, you have your complainers and curmudgeons who just refuse to be happy or content in any situation so opinions will be widely varied. There are lots of activity options and good sense of community for residents who choose to be active and engaged. Not sure if that's helpful as it would require a longer conversation to give you a better feel for the facility overall.

The Waterford has a very spacious interior with comfortable activity rooms that are very inviting. With just two floors it's a friendly atmosphere. The aids and med techs are very friendly, encouraging, and helpful. there is physical and occupational therapy staff on site.

I did have a bad experience with, Southern Meadows, but I have to say that it scored high on these section questions that you have ask about, here! If your family member is wanting to leave the facility, and they even open a door to look out, they were at the time my Sister was there, that happened to her, she has Dementia/Alzheimer's, a couple of times, the 3rd time she walked out when a guest held the door open for her!! They did not bring her back in the facility, they called an Ambulance and they took her to the 6 th floor at Baxter Hospital! 2 hours after she was taken there, a nurse from that floor called me and ask when I was coming to see her, I was furious!! Southern Meadows did not have the concern enough to call and let me know this had happened! They did not want her back there and that was not even told to me, by SM, the hospital, relayed that info to us!! When we went to get her things from there, no one would speak to us, it was the worst experience I've ever been thru with a Care Facility, or anyone we have ever done business with!!

The facility is absolutely beautiful. My mom loves her one bedroom apartment. It's well kept it's clean. It's just a lovely property. The staff has been absolutely amazing. Just fantastic caregivers. It's a very caring facility. I never worry that she is not well taken care of and absolutely loved.

What they could improve on would be Continuity of care and communication, but we would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had.

Staff is great. Wait staff also great. Meal could be better. Cleanliness all is good. Rent ?

Staff is very polite and very kind. Food could be better cooked, but food is fresh.

Faculty and staff are very helpful/caring. I believe they are understaffed for the memory care patients. Cleanliness, location is what stuck out over other places.

Would rate a 4. Don't know if there could be a 5 anywhere. Staff are nice. One thing I like is the manner at which they talk to residents. Quality of care is good. Since I'm not there all the time I can't talk about activities. Most places are short handed with staff but waterford is pretty consistent at the way they interact. They pay attention to needs of cleanliness, changing of sheets, and personal hygiene. Value for the money is very good. I would recommend this facility.

Overall experience was rushed. Cleanliness is fair to mid. Friendliness - very aloof. Administrative staff- jumpy. Food is not reliable. Value for the money - iffy, a raise in rent on one's door after lunch.

It will be 2 years. I have lived here at the end of April.

My mom is at The Lodge at White Bear, A Sky Active Living Community. They have a shuttle bus and a bus driver that would take her to her doctor's appointment. They cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner. In the room, there's no stove, but they have a microwave and a fridge. They promote socialization there, especially when they're eating. They have crafts and stuff going on pretty much every day. They had somebody come in there and read poetry when I was there. They also had somebody else come in and sing. If you want a garage, it's only $[fee removed] a month. My mom could also bring an animal. She did have a little dog, but she ended up having to re-home him. However, that was just a one-payment deposit. The payment for a one-bedroom monthly includes everything except the phone and the garage if you have a car. The lady that runs it is very, very nice. She promotes a good environment. The people there are very, very nice, too. I can't compare it to anything else, but I wouldn't mind living there!

We like that Waterford offers activities and outings, and enjoy seeing the pictures on the Facebook page. Staff appears caring and willing to communicate. Directors are aware of what is happening in the facility.

Facility is clean and will maintain. Sometimes staff changes. We were able to have a private room with nice view and quiet.

Independent living, but great service. Staff is great. Very cozy atmosphere and friendly staff and residents. She has easily made the transition.
