Dining room carpet is very worn down and dingy. Needs desperate replacing. Roads around the facility are riveted with deep pot holes that could damage cars if hit. They only put orange cones so you know to drive around them. It's been like that since we toured here in which was March-April.

The attitude of staff has greatly improved when we first got there people truly acted like they were pissed at the world those nurses thankfully are not there any more Lisa is very courtesy integrity respectful helpful the receptionist is very kind and helpful

Clean and friendly, well maintained facility. I visit my parents weekly and they are happy with the food and services that they are currently receiving. The security and ease of check in and out is easy.

The director is very hands on and appears to make each resident feel special. I have eaten several meals with my sister and all have been good. There are many social opportunities and residents are encouraged to participate.

It has been a good experience for the most part. The Waterford at Mesquite is for someone with dementia or that needs extra care. Also, money, jewelry, valuables should be kept in the closet with a deadbolt lock that only resident & family have a key. Too many have access to rooms & thefts happen. A camera installed in the room is a good idea to monitor resident & others that enter the apt.

It's excellent. Fits my mom in laws personality. I would recommend to others.

better than others. not a priority for them for sure. staff is friendly. turnover is high and staff is not very knowledgeable or motivated. lack of communication. we were sold a chef they do not have chef meals all has been minimal no snacks. cheaper than others

It was the most lavish place in reference to others that we looked at, but we really like the fact that they had pets there and that it was small, and the staff turnover seemed limited.

The staff is very nice, and go above and beyond to help their residents. They have many activities to choose from throughout each month, and it's an upbeat environment. The food hasn't been so great recently, and there have been complaints, but they said the are addressing it. With the cost of groceries going up, they increased rent, even though my mom hasn't been there a whole year she was still subject to the increase. I do feel really secure with her living there, especially with her meals being provided and someone at the desk 24/7.

I moved /in 1 1/2yrs ago, This place was great. It was clean and neat and management was a friendly. Now management stays out of sight and. The halls and patios are not taken care of and are messy. The outside needs repair work. New patio furniture is really needed. Looks in outside plumbing and road work needed. They promise to fix but never happens. Poor communication.

Aspen Grove was a great place for my mom to stay. They were kind, attentive, helpful and available to assist with all of her needs. We are very satisfied with the overall experience and would recommend them to others.

Extremely courteous, helpful staff. Food is somewhat hit-or-miss. Plenty of varied activities. Nice path around the complex, with a lake and gazebo. Every apartment has an interior doorway into the hallway, AND an external door to a patio (often shared). Pets are accepted, as are Medicaid Waivers. Also offers parking for residents that can still drive.

Do a pre-visit for yourself. We chose this community because of the reviews. I would recommend to others.

I would recommend seniors to stay there. My dad likes it. Just like anywhere else, the prices jumped up several hundred of dollars. All the staff I've mentioned so far are great. They come to his room to remind him of his meals. As for the food, he loves his breakfast the most. They give a few choices of what to eat. Haven't heard anything complaints.

My mom chose Waterford because she liked their 1-bedroom apartment. She called it sunny. We narrowed the search to Waterford and [community removed]. It was a very hard decision between these two but I think my mom made the right decision for her. Waterford made my first cut, narrowing 6 communities down to 3, because I was impressed by the warmth and dedication of the staff. My mom and I also agreed that Waterford had the best food, not even a contest. I was also pleased how fast we were able to get physical and occupational therapists into see my mom. Their efforts easily surpass what she would/has received living alone. My only thought since moving in is that the Waterford seems to be understaffed. This puts a lot of pressure on the current staff. This hasn't really affected my mom's experience but trying to get a hold of them with appropriate follow through has sometimes been challenging for me.

This feels like home. I like my little apartment but I am only there in the evening. I like to spend most of my days in the craft room doing puzzles and visiting with people. I'm a little bit fussy when it come to food so I like that I can order fish if I don't like the menu for the day. I love crafts and Bingo and wish there was even more of that. I love the happy hours & when people come to sing. This has been a nice transition from living in my own house. I've been here 4 years.

It appears they receive the required attention they need. An orientation program for relatives of new residents would have been helpful - medications, laundry, in house doctor, shower assistance, cleaning, bed changing, aides, etc.

My wife and I broke our hips at the same time and were in rehab together. Willow Grove administrators talked to us and we were able to transition there very easily. They were so helpful and took care of all our needs. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a place to stay, temporarily or permanently.
