We chose The Waterford at the time because it was during covid and they were the only facility that would let me come inside the facility and actually look at the room. They also would let me come in to visit my mom as long as I tested negative and I wore a gown and mask. We got a studio apartment with a separate living room space and we figured it would be the best fit for her so she could take more of her furniture which makes it feel more homey. I think they could improve on their communication, during the ice storm they had to move her rooms and I was not told about it but that has been our only mix up. Overall, I would recommend to others who are looking.

During the time our loved one was there, we did have a good experience. They did offer plenty of activities for those who wanted to participate in them, and we did think the value for cost at the time was great. The place itself was beautiful, and the staff were able to get our loved one into a room that was right next to the nurses station. This allowed her to get as much care as possible, they always seemed concerned about her health, they were pretty attentive and overall very nice. We also liked that at the time it was a newer place, it was only about 1-2 years old.

This is a great community and they took amazing care of my father.

Anthology is a great place, the people we have encountered are very nice and very professional. However due to our loved ones own health issues this is just not a good fit for him. Our loved one needs a place in between assisted living and nursing home care. However, they have activities that him and other residents love participating in, and they also have a nice happy hour a couple times a week which he really enjoys.

The Waterford community has just been amazing, the staff members are very attentive to their residents. They are so pleasant to speak with. The house doctor is always available, and the food is amazing. Our loved one says they have a great kitchen chef who makes all home cooked meals.

We are currently looking for an independent senior apartment/community for my mom. With the help of A Place for Mom advisor, [name removed], we selected Amberleigh as a good fit. We went on a tour with [name removed], who was amazing, and we were very pleased on many aspects of the community. The buildings interior is beautifully decorated. It has a warm and welcoming feel as soon as you walk in. The apartments have a nice layout with a balcony. We couldn't believe how clean and well maintained everything was. Our favorite aspect was how lively it felt and the friendliness of the residents and staff.

We chose The Wellington because of the way that they talked about the food at the time, the menus looked wonderful from what we saw. At first the food was really good, but they got rid of the chef and with the new chef the food is not good. The meals are not homemade as they used to be and everything on the plate is one color so not appealing to look at either. The apartment sizes here are really nice. The staff members are very friendly and go out of their way, I would recommend to others looking.

We chose Cottonwood Village because [name removed] the manager was a huge plus when I communicated with her and also the location of the facility. My mother in law had one of the smallest apartments but it worked out great for what she needed. It is a beautiful facility and the staff here is absolutely amazing. I would recommend to others looking.

Our family has a virtual tour with Georgetowne Place, and the community was very nice. They were able to show us different hallways and different rooms. The reason we did not go with this community was barbecue of the room set up, it was just not what our loved one and our family was looking for.

We believe they are doing some type of activities, but they are mostly take the covid safety protocols very seriously. The value for cost is expensive but still reasonable. The staff members are very in tune with our loved one, they really understand him. He is in memory care, and sometimes when our loved one is having a moment where he may try and leave, they just talk to him, calm him down and redirect him.

WE are very happy with our choice. The facility is very clean and they have a lot of activities to participate in. The meals here are chef prepared and we get to choose off of a menu what we would like, the portions sizes are big but the food is amazing. They do provide transportation to doctors appointments and they provide side trips as well to other places like hobby lobby. I would highly recommend

Wonderful place. My first tour anywhere. Was surprised with music in the halls but I guess that's common. Staff was exceptionally kind and lively. Food very good. Love all the choices. Many unexpected free amenities. Everything seemed very clean. The one big downfall is almost all the apartments have not got a full kitchen. They said I could use the community room but that's not the same. Also, the one bedroom apartment would be too small for me. I'd need a 2 bedroom.. I will look at a few more and compare.

This community is very nice and we have been very happy here. Communication is good between the staff and our family, they keep us well informed and up to date. I would recommend this community to others.

We chose The Wellington because it was affordable, it was clean, and the facility is safe. The staff members here were also very friendly. One of the questions I asked was what were the add on costs and they were reasonable on that front. The director here is AMAZING and has been so helpful to our family. We get emails frequently to keep us updated. they have done great with handling covid and only had 1 case in the whole facility. I would definitely recommend to others who are looking and we are happy with our choice.

This community is all-inclusive so you pay one amount for everything. I would strongly recommend this community to others. The community is kept very neat and clean, and the staff is very friendly

They provide good care and top staff from the management down to the aides. Communication was good between the staff and our family

We chose Anthology of Louisville because it looked newer, nicer, cleaner, and it is in a great location. The room sizes here are good, personally I do wish it would have been just a tiny bit bigger but it worked for her needs. I do think the head administrator was not very personable or good with her response time, but her entire staff was great. I would absolutely recommend to others looking.

I recently toured the community w my mom and we were treated w both sensitivity and respect by [name removed]. She gave mom her undivided attention, giving her options before unknown. Such as possible assistance from the VA from Dad’s wartime service! It made this a wonderful and doable experience. Mom has been enjoying her time there and is happier then I have seen her in a very long time. Thanks [name removed] for your continued eyes on mom!!!

My sister absolutely loves it here. We chose this facility because it was the most reasonable priced one we found in the White Bear area and she is very familiar with the are it is in. She is in a 2 bedroom apartment and it is more than enough for her needs. If anything is ever wrong they come to help her out quickly. They have a lot of activities provided for residents to participate in. I would recommend to others looking.
