My grandmother was there for her respite and absolutely loved it. We never imagined she would be so happy. The staff were so helpful and accomodating to her needs. It is very clean and she was in good hands with all the staff.

Our family had a virtual tour and our experience was great. The lady walked us throughout the entire facility and we virtually met some of the staff members. All of our questions were answered, there was no confusion or grey areas.

The facility is clean and neat, but in comparison to our loved ones previous community the maintenance team is useless. They do not know how to hang TV's or pictures on the walls. The food in the beginning used to be very good, but our loved one now complaints that its bland, we are not sure if it is the food or just our loved one though.

I chose The Waterford because they have activities around here and the good location, everything you could need is around the facility. The apartment sizes are fine for what I need. They do have a chef on site that prepares all of the meals. I would recommend to others looking.

I would tell others the staff is very friendly. The administrator is always willing to please, she is through. If you have any concerns you can make an appointment to speak to the administrator. They are allowing for one hour visits by appointment.

They really helped our loved one get settled in when visitors were not allowed and we couldn't be there. She really hated it at first, and they reassured us to just give it some time, and she would love it eventually. They were definitely right. That's exactly what happened. She loves not having to do laundry, she loves not having to decide what to eat, and she loves that there are always people around to talk to and do things with. The Woodlands has always been very open to us, communicating whenever we needed to know anything. They provided a direct line into the nursing staff. If we ever had any questions, they were quick to answer. Our loved one says the food is good. From what I've seen having only recently been allowed in to visit, it's clean. There have been some changes lately in the activities, and they've not doing as much as they used to. But it's still good overall. And I would recommend this community to others. I was very concerned about staff changes. I had heard that when those happen, everything can change. And The Woodlands has gone through a big change recently, with new administration but the daily people stayed the same. But they've worked very hard and have done a great job of making sure everyone has stayed connected. It wasn't nearly as bad as I anticipated that it would be.
