I work on the IT/backend of medicaid and other Healthcare programs. I do not reside here or have a loved one here (yet) but I love the Waterford so much that I wanted to take a minute to just acknowledge how amazing it is. Retirement communities are well-known for their lackluster atmospheres. Every time I walk into this place it feels like a grand hotel or resort. The front desk is always kind and attentive, I have had the pleasure of meeting most staff, from the cleaning crew to the director, and I truly believe they care for the residents here! The dining area is particularly beautiful. I love to sit by the fountain and just listen for a bit when I make a trip to the facility. Keep up the great work!

I am writing after reflection from the holiday. I am so incredibly thankful my father resides here. There is so much guilt associated with not being able to care for a loved one properly yourself and it is such a relief to know that he is being treated kindly and in a professional manner here. Every time I visit him I am floored that everyone remembers my name and is so welcoming. My father is not easy to get along with, but the staff and the director are a special kind of people. I have so much respect for the staff, particularly the chef and the director. The food here is amazing. I wish I could come and eat here for my meals! Despite being an opinionated grouch, my father gets along well with the staff. The director knows exactly how to handle him. I dont worry about him here. I have seen the director scrub toilets, comfort residents, serve meals and make a genuine effort to connect with folks in a way that I personally believe is well beyond the standard of care people expect.

My loved one lives in this community. In fact now that she has lived there a while, MANY of my loved ones live in the community because that is what it is, a community of people who accept and love one another as an extended family. We have grown to know other residents and staff and consider this to be a residence full of our loved ones. My review is that the accommodation is up to date, soothing in colors and decor, welcoming with ample sunlight and green space, clean and beyond that, very pretty. The accommodations are homes that the people who live there can be proud to say are theirs. The mood set by the brick and mortar space says home and does not give any type of institutional feel. Far more important than the building though, is the people. The staff, the food, the care, the grounds, the help with repairs and cleaning and the activities and operations, are all done with the best efforts and intentions. Even when there are glitches, the care put into working toward a solution is evident and with every intention of finding resolution no matter how long it takes. I believe that the community at Laurelhurst and Laurelwoods, made up of the residents, the families of those who live there, and the staff (who are much more than employees and are part of the life there), is an example of a saying I'd like to alter. "It takes a village to raise a child" is something we've all heard often. Its rather limiting isn't it? The bigger picture is it takes a community to thrive in life and with our mom living in this community, I am happy to say she is thriving even with the challenges that come along as we age.

The environment, staff, property are 5 stars. [Name removed] has been great!!!! Mother has been doing good and getting better each day.

My sister [name removed] is a new resident at this fine establishment and one of the selling points of placing my sister here was because of your Sales Director [name removed] in making us feel so welcome. She is an asset to your business.

My mom has lived at the Waterford a little over 3 years. She was hesitant to move there and resistant. However, after a few weeks she fall in love and so did I. Everyone cares and looks out for the residents. Many times I have called and asked for someone to check on her and they respond immediately. My mom could not be in a better place for her end of life. I highly recommend.

Best care was given and prevented my loved ones from going to a nursing home. All care assists at a level that is very high in how they love the residents. My father recently [name removed] passed away in this facility recently.

I moved here 6 years ago I love it here and everyone has been nice to me. Employees and have helped me every time and ask if possible.

Activities are going great! [Name removed] gets me to my appointment on time. Best driver I've ever had. Food is alright.

[Name removed] helped me and took care of everything along the way! Lovely, friendly, and knowledgeable! I wouldn't of survived here without her! Always available always with a smile on her face! She always helped me, no matter what I needed or what the situation was! I feel like I have made a friend for life! This is a great place to live!

My mother lives here and it is the best place. The food is amazing. The activities are wonderful. I am so impressed with how the staff provides events and activities for my mom and the other residents. There is always something fun going on. She loves living here. When I visit, the staff are always so friendly to me and everyone else. Her apartment is adorable and she feels safe and cared for. Thank you so much for providing her a wonderful place to live.

Such a great team. [names removed] make you feel like family and actually make you feel that they care. I tell everyone that they need to see Cedar Bluff.

When it comes to caring for your loved ones, The Waterford is in a class of its own. The facility is in tiptop shape always clean and fresh and the employees seem to thoroughly enjoy their jobs and are happy to be there. Residents are thrilled with so many great activities to keep them busy ,everything from field trips to daily exercise can be found on the calendar. An abundance of smiles can be found at this community . I highly recommend the Waterford through and through when it comes to choosing a home for your loved one.

I toured the Waterford for my mother. One of the patios we went out on is right on the golf course! It is extremely clean and well kept. The dinning room is very open with beautiful lighting. We had lunch while we were there. The food was excellent. I felt like we were at a restaurant. We even had a chance to meet the chef. He came out and visited with us for a few minutes. The common areas were welcoming and clean. The rooms were beautiful. We looked at a room with a golf course view! We met several department heads on the tour. All staff were so friendly. I would highly recommend The Waterford at Ironbridge. If you go for a tour make sure to have lunch!

The peace and happiness knowing that my dearest friend is not only cared for, but also, cared ABOUT, is inexpressible. The genuine care and thoughtfulness shown by every employee to each and every resident is second to none. It is often hard to distinguish between employee and resident due to the extraordinary interaction between the two. Never in my 70 years have I experienced more, a true sense of community than when visiting at The Waterford.

I love my room and the friends I have made.

So far my experience with Anthology of Louisville has been great. There is always something fun for my friend to do, and she talks about how great the food is. She also loves the staff and says they have always gone out of their way to make sure she has everything she needs.

I feel good about Laurelwoods as a care facility for my wife. There Magnolia Trails program for memory care is excellent. The staff is very caring! The food is great. Lots of activities.

I was first introduced to the Waterford at Irongate in [date removed]. It had become apparent that my sister could not live on her own any longer and the Waterford was recommended to me. From the moment I walked in, I felt at home. Everyone I met, I felt like I had known for many years. There is a real family atmosphere and upbeat people everywhere. I had lunch, which was fabulous, and met many of the staff that day. When my sister moved in, they were there to help in any way they could. Unfortunately, my sister's health declined rapidly and she lived there for less than two months. I live in Tennessee and when I was back in Springfield to finalize some of my sister's business, I stopped by to see my new family! I highly recommend the Waterford and thank Kelly and all the staff for their professionalism, courtesy, kindness and above all else, their love! I will see you all the next time I'm in town.
