Our tour with Whiterock Court was great, but the location was too far from our family members.

Our family had an in person tour and it is a very nice facility, but it did need a little more cleanliness to it. There was a faint smell and it was smaller. Also the accommodating and what they had to offer was just not really up to par. r

I would encourage others to come when they can. It's a good place to live. The friendliness, food, and the price all make it a good place. It is affordable. The staff are there if you need anything and are willing to help.

We chose Elmcroft of Austin because the price for the cleanliness, friendly staff, and the care provided was far and above others that we had looked into. The facility itself is also very close to my place so it is convenient when I go to visit. The staff has been very friendly and we are happy with them. Our biggest issue we have had is his call button does not seem to work consistently. I would absolutely recommend to others looking.

Very friendly and caring staff. Helped Mom feel comfortable and welcome like part of the family as she transitioned to assisted living. Questions and concerns always addressed in a timely manner. She enjoys many activities and events. I rest easy knowing Mom is safe and well taken care of. Highly recommend Elmcroft.

Facility experience significant flood damage and has not fully recovered. Programs haven't returned to pre-pandemic schedule. Facility is understaffed and there are delays in accomplishments needed tasks.

I liked this community, however my loved one did not feel as if this community was as vibrant as the one that we went with.

This community was our second choice. We loved this community it was just to far away from us and our family. We were really sad it wasn't closer. Very helpful and got to talk to the other residents. We also got to meet all of the workers in the community.

This is a nice clean comfortable, and secure place. The staff are good to work with. Some of the activities available for the residents are bingo, movie night, happy hours, and more to choose from.

Nice but my loved one preferred a newer facility. At the time the person that took us on the tour was very professional and very helpful.

The staff members at Elmcroft seem to be a lot more hands on, and attentive then our loved ones previous community which we really appreciate. The activities have been great so far, the residents who are vaccinated have less restrictions and so far our loved one has not complained about the food. The value for cost is definitely worth it, it is pretty good.

Our loved one was never able to move in and has now passed on, but she was able to go there for some lunches and dinners and she really liked it. We were pleasantly surprised because on the outside the community looks old, but when you walk in it is very nice. Our loved one felt the people were more down to earth and very friendly. The community was very close to our loved ones home, and when she was not able to drive there for lunch the community would actually bring meals to her which we really appreciated.

This community is all inclusive. They have really good food and take very good care of the residents. The staff are very helpful and love the community and the people living there. My loved ones are happy.

We were able to have an in person tour, and at the time our loved one was starting to wonder due to her dementia so we checked out the memory care unit. There was a small hint of urine smell, it was not overpowering but just slightly, and we noticed the residents in the memory unit had much more advanced dementia so we did not think our loved one would be comfortable there. However, if we needed a place for our loved one we would still be comfortable having her stay at Elmcroft.

We chose Elmcroft of Pensacola because it is a smaller facility which is where she felt more comfortable. When I did the virtual tour I was hooked on it because of the friendliness of the staff members as well as the residents. Her apartment size has plenty of room for 1 person. They were amazing with helping us and have been very accommodating. I would highly recommend to others who are looking.

Overall experience has been fine, the community is clean but the house keeping in our loved ones room is lacking a little. The friendliness of the staff members are great, and our loved one seems really happy with the meals and dining service. We also think the activities are good to.

Nice place, good interaction between staffers and residents. BUT....the place allows smoking in rooms and the smell filters into the hallways. Huge turnoff even to a previous smoker.

Very nice place. I noticed great friendly interaction between my "tour guide" and residents. A bit pricey for our budget but it would be worth it.

The biggest thing was they said if my loved one pushed the call button, they would get there in 3-5 minutes. It's been more like 15-30 minutes. So I kind of feel like they weren't honest on the front end about how much assistance he would get and oversold their services to get us in. But he loves it there. He likes the staff and the other residents. He's made some friends. He likes that he has a private room that offers him privacy when he feels like being by himself. The staff try to get him to participate, but he hasn't participated much in the activities. He has tried a few things. Sometimes I wish he would do more, but I know in the end that's up to him. Everything is always clean, including his room and his bathroom. They do his laundry twice a week. They come and make his bed every day so it's ready for him at bedtime, which is nice. The common areas are very nice. The hallways are vacuumed. I haven't seen any dust or noticed any smells. It's just very clean.
