The biggest thing was they said if my loved one pushed the call button, they would get there in 3-5 minutes. It's been more like 15-30 minutes. So I kind of feel like they weren't honest on the front end about how much assistance he would get and oversold their services to get us in. But he loves it there. He likes the staff and the other residents. He's made some friends. He likes that he has a private room that offers him privacy when he feels like being by himself. The staff try to get him to participate, but he hasn't participated much in the activities. He has tried a few things. Sometimes I wish he would do more, but I know in the end that's up to him. Everything is always clean, including his room and his bathroom. They do his laundry twice a week. They come and make his bed every day so it's ready for him at bedtime, which is nice. The common areas are very nice. The hallways are vacuumed. I haven't seen any dust or noticed any smells. It's just very clean.

There are not many activities but the staff is very friendly. The food is not very tasty and I would like to see that improve. The community is kept neat and clean and overall it is a good value for the money. I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.

We picked this community because it was close to family and they have good floor plans. They are currently renovating the kitchen so the food should improve when they are finished. I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.

There are not a whole lot of improvements this community needs to make. They are redoing the kitchen so they can open back up after from being closed due to the pandemic. The residents seem to be very well taken care of, and we are happy with our decisions.

I would recommend you stay here if you have a chance to. The communication with the staff is good. Some of the activities include bingo, cornhole, poker, and more to choose from. The food is very good and I am surprised sometimes. The dining room is open for the residents to use for meals.

2nd virtual appt missed account my dental emergency. Rescheduled for [date removed]...never heard from [name removed]. Update: My husband and I met with [name removed] in person. She was very thorough and answered all our questions. Everyone we met was friendly and seemed to like it there.

Communication is good between the staff and me. They keep me well informed and up to date. The community is very neat and clean and the residents and staff are very friendly. I would recommend this community based on my experience.

Our loved one is doing really well there, she is meeting a lot of new people. She is really enjoying the meals they serve, and the activities are slowly starting to open back up. We would recommend the Ventura Place to other families.

We chose Madison Estates because she liked the size of the apartments and they have a very big patio. It also had a nicer hotel feel rather than institutional and felt more homey. The apartment sizes here are larger than all of the other places we looked at for the same amount of money, but she does wish it had more storage space. They are really good about trying to get things situated if she has any concerns and making sure everyone has what they need. I do know that they tried their hardest with activities during covid, I think we will have a better idea once things are opened up all the way. I would recommend to others looking.

We thought Polo Park Estates was great - they were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were nice, and it was a very nice facility. The only issue was the price. We ended up selecting another community owned by the same management company that was a little more affordable.

It is good, and honestly it is what the individual wants to do. They have activities for the residents to choose from. The staff is attentive and they are busy. The only issue we have is the food.

I would tell others this is an extremely nice community. This is like a hotel, however, you are able to participate in lots of activities. They have residents that have been friendly and have been there a long time.

We chose Elmcroft at the time because it was a smaller community that seemed more homey. I am able to go inside the facility, so throughout all of this I have been able to see how it is. The food quality seems to be better and she really enjoys the meals. It is a nice place and I really love the people who work here. I would absolutely recommend to others who are looking.

Their staff was very nice. The facility - you know its an old folks home. It was clean. My loved one liked the food. I have to be honest, I did not like their doctor on staff. He's there part time, as he goes on a circuit between different facilities. I did not like the drugs he was trying to force on my loved one. Other than that, they really try to, even during Covid, make accessible visits with my loved one.

This is a decent community.

The food they serve here at the Dogwood Estates is pretty good, sometimes they do get the orders mixed up but over it is really good. The activities are limited but they still have small hallway activities for us.

We chose Madison Estates because of the price and the convenient location to family. She is in a 1 bedroom apartment and it is just right for what she needs. My mom does not like the food at all and will not even eat it. They serve eggs every morning and she does not like it. They do serve oatmeal sometimes but it is very hard. She said it is always fish or chicken and it is served cold. I think it would be a different experience if she was able to eat in the dining room.

The community responded quickly when I have questions. and so far the community is very nice. It's a very pretty place and I look forward to living here. The community did a great job helping me find the perfect place to live.

2 bedroom on the third and main floor; difficult with the dogs; place was a little run down, but they are refurbishing the apartment, completely, so it will be like new.

I have had a wonderful experience with Polo Park Estates so far. I have an efficiency apartment and I love it, I get a lot of natural light and it is very roomy. The staff here have been very friendly and helpful. I think the food here is great, they do a wonderful job with providing variety. I think it is a wonderful place and I would recommend them.
