The staff have done a wonderful job during the pandemic, keeping us safe from the virus. I love living here, this is home.

Excellent! I have never seen such a place that is so good. It is so clean. If you need help, they're right there.

Living here has been tremendous compared to what I left in Daytona. This place is clean, thorough and I truly love calling this my home.

My mom was there for six weeks and it was very good while she was there. I chose this community for the location. The food was good and they offered a variety in restaurant style dining where you can order off a menu. My mom's apartment was cute and very nice. I would recommend this community to other families.

They did a good job keeping the community clean. The staff was very caring towards my mother and were very attentive to her care and needs. They brought her meals when she needed them and checked on her periodically. My mother didn't participate much in the activities, but they did offer them at the community. Definitely a good value for the price. We cannot say enough good things about the care they are offering.

Elmcroft is a safe, friendly , caring, and cost effective community. I like the great communication lines, if things something I need to know they call me right away. The call me weekly and send a weekly email with updates about the community and my mom. My mom is happy and likes it there. It take a lot of pressure off me knowing she is safe and well cared for. My mom loves the food and she really loves the chef. They other a lot of activities and modify them to fit the residents physical and cognitive abilities. I just can't say enough good things about them.

Forsyth House is doing a great job taking care of our loved ones under challenging circumstances. Staff is very responsive to every question and concern.

Forsyth House is superb. We were looking for a small, friendly, homey place for our loved ones, and Forsyth House is all of those things. The staff are kind, caring, skilled, and thoughtful. My Mom wants to hug every staff member when they come to check on her, so I can see how they've endeared themselves to her and care for her as much as she cares for them. From the very beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, Executive Director [name removed] began daily updates and communication with families. She is an excellent leader and administrator, and continues to be professional, helpful, and conscientious. She has been proactive regarding mandated guidelines and, to date, residents are safe and well. Libby and her staff have also creatively responded, developing ways for residents to remain engaged, entertained, and active, and finding options for family to "visit" virtually and remotely. I cannot fully express my family's gratitude for Forsyth House and the safe, comfortable, cheerful home it provides.

A place that just feels like home as soon as you walk in the door. Staff greets you with a smile, the residents are happy, and management truly strives to make sure that the residents and the staff members feel loved and appreciated!

I toured 3 Memory Care units in Longview & have seen 2 others in the past. I chose Heartis for my mother because: 1) It consists of a single straight hall leading to either the dining/recreation area or a garden, so she can't get lost & doesn't have to walk far to get to either place (a concern because she has bad lungs); 2) it is bright & cheery with high ceilings & big ( by nursing home standards) windows - great for someone prone to depression; 3) the staff members are very friendly, nurturing, & patient. I see my mother every day & have been reassured by how involved they are with their charges - always looking for ways to help without being asked, checking on them when they choose to stay in their rooms, & responding very quickly when any alarm goes off. My mother has only been there one month & cannot remember any names, but she already clearly trusts them & is willing to cooperate with them. Both of us also like that her room looks out at woods.

Extremely nice facility and the staff was very helpful. Will keep this facility on my "maybe" list. I wish it had more "green space."

The staff were very understanding, kind and supportive to my decision to find mom a place. The fact that many staff had been there for so long really made an impression. I look forward to my mom enjoying her new home.
