I actually love it all for her. [name removed] stand to have better food. I love the Staff. The only person I didn't care for in the cafeteria has left a few months back. Love the Community, staff friendly that go the extra mile. Would recommended 100%.

We have only positive, complimentary thoughts about Elan! Everything has been great here! Almost too good to be true --except it IS TRUE !! [name removed] has been here over a year already, and I have spent MUCH time with him here too. 1. They will do anything within state laws and their policy to accommodate residents/family wishes. 2. The facility is fairly new, but looks brand new, extremely well-maintained, and extremely clean. 3. Administration personnel are extremely professional, knowledgeable, helpful, kind, compassionate. 4. The aides who assist the residents are angels! They are awesome! Their patience, tolerance, knowledge of best practices, and kindness are outstanding! 4. We needed to find a location that had "memory care" and allowed residents to 'wander' anytime. It is locked where they cannot escape, but has access to a very large area to walk/wander at will, and even go outside to a beautifully landscaped, closed-in courtyard with a cement walkway. (This was a major consideration in our decision!! ) The courtyard also has covered areas with tables and rocking chairs to relax and enjoy the fresh air and sunshine. In the center of the courtyard is a birdfeeder where many birds come to eat, and the residents can enjoy watching them. 5. The meals are prepared by chefs and are delicious.! Meals are well seasoned, and not bland like in hospitals. They serve plenty with hardly any repetition of menus. 6. Because my husband has severe hallucinations which cause danger to him, they allowed me to stay in his room several months to keep him safe. And often, they brought me meals too. 7. A good-sized, private room, with private bathroom at Elan-Corpus Christi costs me almost $[removed]less per month than [community removed] for a 8'x 8' space in a semi private room/bathroom. And this place is so much nicer. 8. On the other side of the facility is 'assisted-living', which some people may be interested in. 9. This facility has a beauty shop, and art room with art lessons, and all sorts of activities and gatherings, including for their families occasionally in the evening. Our family and I definitely recommend ELAN - Corpus Christi to families looking for the very best place for their loved ones. We are thankful that "A Place For Mom" recommended that we tour ELAN-Corpus Christi. It has been such a blessing for us!

Everyone at Westmark is friendly and attentive to the residents who live there. I am so glad we found a place for my mom! I know she is safe and well cared for! The activities engaging with the residents. They have many daily activities to choose from. My mom loves it there!

The workers are engaged and truly helpful. Everyone made sure move in was smooth. Staffers checked in with my Mother-in Law for the first few days before see if she had questions or needed additional help. Residents are often seen visiting in the halls and lounge areas and they seem happy to call Eastman home

They fully renovated the facility last fall. I found the facility to be a place where I would want to be if in a similar medical diagnosis as my mother. Along with assisted living, they have a memory care section with wonderful, caring staff.

[name removed] was easy to talk to and attended to all of our concerns. We were able to schedule the tour rather quickly. She didn't pressure us to make a decision. Staff seemed average. Nothing wrong, but typical care ratio you would see in an assisted living facility. Apartments were bigger than I expected and appeared to be well maintained.

Gorgeous facility and amazing staff. Even the residents are a joy to listen to - seemingly wonderful place to call home. [name removed] and her entire staff love these residents and it shows - for those we love, caring for them in their time of need is essential; let [name removed] and her team do the hard work so that you can be the family your loved ones need l.

The staff at WestMark Senior Living are the best! Very compassionate and they care about their residents. They are easy to contact when you have any questions and quick to respond, even on weekends. I feel like my stepmom is in good hands.

5 on all categories.. I knew the director from another facility. It's a great place to live. I have visited every place in Corpus and surrounding areas and Elan Corpus Christi and [community name removed] are the only ones I would recommend. I have known people in some of the other facilities and there were always complaints. Food, slow response to problems etc. Elan Corpus Christi always addressed the issues with urgency and efficiently.

Staff is very friendly. Most staff have been at the facility for a bit of time.

After touring five facilities for our 81-year-old mom with dementia, Elan Corpus Christi stood out immediately. It’s modern, spotless, and welcoming—but the real difference is the people. [name removed], the Executive Director, and [name removed], the Community Relations Director, lead with heart. The entire staff embodies compassion, warmth, and patience. After moving in, [name removed] brought a dozen roses and a hand-signed welcome card. She sat with Mom, helped brush her hair, and applied her lipstick so she could take a photo. [name removed] personally stopped by her apartment and walked her to bingo when she noticed she was feeling anxious. Those personal touches meant the world to us. The attention, care, and kindness shown to both Mom and our family have been above and beyond. I’ve asked a hundred questions, and not once did anyone make me feel like a burden. Every staff member treats Mom like she’s their own. This isn’t a job for them—it’s a calling. To be continued…

We really like the facility administration and staff, everyone tries to be be helpful. My Dad has significant short term memory loss due to a stroke and I believe his deficits require a more repetative/structured approach than some other residents. I would encourage families to communicate as much as possible with staff and administration to address specific needs. My Dad has both memory and visual deficits. I don't necessarily think the activities are lacking, it's more that it's hard for him to engage in some of the activities available like bingo and art. He is a musician and loves listening and playing. I think adding more music related activities in the memory care section would benefit him and all of the residents.

The facility was clean and the staff was kind and cheerful. Mother was in a studio. She did not take part in activities as she was not steady on her feet. Later she was bed bound.

I have know [name removed] for many years. She is a rock star in our industry We always worked well together. She has an amazing heart and her residents love her. We need more people like [name removed] to work in our industry.

Everything was wonderful for mom. They were Kind, considerate and a very nice environment. Unfortunately, mom's dementia got worse and she needs more help. It is because of this that she had to leave Westmark. The entire staff was very nice and friendly and helpful.

One of the admin staff is always available to help or answer questions. The facility is beautiful, clean, well laid out, and bright and airy. Always lots of activities available for the residents. And snacks are always available for in-between meals.

The Westmark Senior Living has a good menu, caring people (some). Yes, I would recommend this community to other families based on my experience.

The activities director could do a lot more with the residents. They could do better about getting the residents to the few activities they do have. Really like the apartment layout. Works well.

My husband and I are both very pleased with The Pearl. The facility is beautiful and everyone who works here is kind and helpful. [name removed] was so kind and helpful when we were getting my husband moved and situated.

This is a wonderful facility. Very clean and safe place. Staff is very nice! Good size room. My mom likes the bingo and the movies. Cannot say enough good things about the staff of Elan!
