Silver Leaf was a horrible experience. I moved dad out after 2 days. They gave him the wrong medication and did not give medication he was supposed to get. When I questioned them about the wrong medication given, their response was to look at the two bottles of medication and say "oh, they are both yellow". I was told they would always have staff awake 24/7 to provide assistance. Not true, staff went to bed in a bunk between 9-10 and would not wake to help my father even with his help alarms going off.

Stay away from this community. The staff don't seem to really care and they seem bothered to even be there really. There are no activities that I have seen so far when I went to visit my loved one.

Do not put a loved one here. The staff is rude and do not care about the patients at all. No medical experience and negligence almost killed my father

They ripped us off. It said in the contract that if she passed away that we would get a refund. My mom passed away and they owe us money and we still have not received it. They talk a good game but they do not follow through with anything, they did not keep any promises made. I would tell others to make sure that you get things in writing from them because they will cheat you.

Don't send your loved one here if they need a lot of care. It is okay for folks that are more independent. They expressed that they could handle a high level of care and we have found they can not. The room size was okay. There is very little oversight. They do not have nurses on staff. No medical person is in charge. My mom ran out of an important medication, they did not let me know. She was out of it 3 days, they felt it was not a big deal.

DO NOT TRUST THIS FACILITY WITH YOUR LOVED ONES! I trusted [name removed] and her husband [name removed] to care for my parents. After only five days of being here my father ended up in the hospital because they put coke, and coffee in his feeding tube which had an effect. He sat in vomit and blood for over an hour. Only because I had a video camera installed in the room was I able to catch their care taker [name removed] assault my mom. I notified the owners and they did nothing. I had to file a police report and i have photos of the bruise it left on my mothers arm. The ownera do not accept feedback, they are only in it for the money and there is no quality care provided. You also may want to ensure that the individuals that are caring for your family members know what they are doing. I have filed a report with the state and pray no other elderly person has to be subjected to what my family has been through. Even the house doctor shared this is more like a baby sitter place no quality care. Not at all what they advertise. The owners will tell you what they told me that the low raters are just difference of opinion. That is a lie. My father could of aspirated and no one was there to monitor him and the ownera lied and said he vomitted a little. The camera and three fully soaked items was evidence of the truth. I would never trust these individuals and I feel so guilty for subjecting my parents to that!

The community at Silver Ridge Assisted Living was like what you would imagine an old nursing home would look and smell like. The community had a strong urine odor throughout. The community looked clean but it did not smell clean. The community was very dark and depressing. It was not well lit and did not feel very welcoming. The upkeep of the community needs a lot of attention to maintenance issues throughout.

Terrible place. My dad was there less than a month and sent to emergency room with infection. Not enough staff.to help with clients. Owner money hungry. Gave them 30 day notice the first week. They got mad i was moving him. Don't trust them. Worst of the worst. I'm warning you to not find out the hard way.

My mother died after only 5 weeks at Lavendelle. The caregivers were awesome and compassionate in everyway. HOWEVER, I paid $4200 plus $1,000 fee for the first month and then a huge $4200 for 1 week. Then their corporate people refused my refund for the remaining 3 weeks that we did not need their services. They tell me now, it's their policy to not issue refunds. Had my mother been there several months I would have only expected a refund for weeks not used. Now I feel cheated out of a portion if the $1,000 fee as well. Please read small print that they said I had signed. I based my conclusion on past home stays where refunds were given. Corporate is has NO of integrity as advertised. Can you imagine paying for services NOT RENDERED...at a whopping almost $10,000 for 5 weeks of care.

I had an appointment set up to tour the community. When i arrived everything seemed very disorganized. A staff member was just laying down watching television in a common area. We walked into the memory care area and to our surprise it was unlocked no one was paying attention. The tour guide didn't seem very professional. The memory care area was really hot it was a bad experience.
