The staff and residents are very friendly. I would recommend the Independent and Assisted Living Community. The room sizes and layout of the community are very good. My dad liked the food. They did not have much outdoor space for residents to use.

Bridgeways of Bensenville is affordable for a couple. I like that they have a continuum of care, so you can age in place. The food is great. The layout is nice. Room sizes are good. They have outdoor space for residents to enjoy.

I was very impressed with this retirement community, services and accommodations. The ability to garden, join clubs, etc. adds to the sense of 'family'. The residents looked healthy and happy to be there. I will revisit this location to revisit later when I am closer to moving.

Bridgeway of Bensenville has a unique in-house program's for its residents and run by its residents. It is called the CAT program because every new resident receives a gray, 3 1/2 inch magnetic cat that is to be placed on their apartment doors by 8:30 PM to let the CAT monitors know that they are safely in their apartment. The CAT is then to be removed by the resident by 8:38 AM notifying the CAT monitor know that all is okay in their apartment. This program brings a sense of safety, security, and wellness to each and every resident that is in the program. The Bridgebuilder organization is responsible for this program. It has been highly successful over the 22 years it has been in existence.

on January 2, 2019 our residents were told that all meals would be held in our multipurpose room for the next month or more. Not knowing what to expect made many residents were skeptical of this move but because construction in the dining room was needed, we had no choice.last night we had our first dinner in the MPR and what a surprise. The service was the best ever. Compliments go to the planning by administration and plans carried out by maintenance, activities, chef, kitchen staff and many other employees. This morning we had our first breakfast in the MPR with the same results. Congratulations to the Bridgeway staff for taking the time to make the residents feel like they are important. Bridgeway is the best.

Overall, I really feel that Bridgeway is a great community. I think it's a very nice place with very kind staff members. Location was a big deal for my loved one, so I definitely appreciate that the community is in a convenient area. I will say that I feel the community could use some updating. I know they are working on it and I think that will make massive improvements within the community. I feel that Bridgeway has ben a great fit for our family, and I would recommend the community to others.

I visited Thursday 07/06 and the place was nice, but had no memory care rooms available. I was put on a waiting list and was told I'd be notified if any rooms open up.

I really do like the fact that my parents are seated with new people every night for dinner. At the end of the month, they have a lunch for new residents. Bridgeway had a Mother's Day lunch for the ladies. A calendar of events is posted and given to the residents in their personal mail slots. Now I am just hoping they will join in more activities.

This is a fairly adequate facility. The staff do a great job, and they make it easy for me to get help here. The meals are delicious, and my husband and I also appreciate the availability that they have for us. I would recommend this facility!

I just wish there were a few more activities going on at Bridgeway of Bensonville. I checked out a couple of other different places and I think they all had more activities, but that is my only complaint.

As a whole, this community is a pleasant place to live. Changes are always difficult, especially for seniors; but Bridgeway residents have made it easier.

My mother has had a little bit of a tough time with the transition into this community but she has had no problems otherwise. The staff have been helpful and accommodating to her needs as best as they can. I do wish they would encourage her to get more involved in the different activities they have going on throughout the day. She has had no complaints about the food and has been receiving great nutrition.

Right now there is a lot of construction going on so hopefully things will get better when they are finished (which will be years). The physical structure has been neglected for many years and now it's catch-up time. The landscaping is lovely and we are in a residential area which I like very much. We have lost a lot of independent residents because of the raise in rent. I have a 2 BR apartment which is very nice and spacious. I could go on and on, but I won't. All in all, it is a homey place to live. There are only 3 floors which contributes to the cozy feeling.

Value for the money you spend is great. Apartments are very spacious and clean. A little dated, but still very nice. Bridgeway is more apartment living. Meaning, it is very quiet and residents keep to themselves. There is not a lot of "communal" activity. There are some activities but not as many as I had hoped. Staff is very friendly and it is a completely safe environment.
