We toured Standish Village during the height of Covid and things were very tight. They followed protocols, they took our temperatures, and we had to answer all of the Covid related questions. I thought that was a good thing and I didn't mind it at all, because that meant they would lower the chances of any residents catching Covid due to their screening process. The community was very nice and the people were friendly. Standish is located close to my loved ones family and friends. It was also a bit more expensive than her budget and what she pays at the community she's at now. My friend was going to move in, but Standish requires that you take a TB test. She got the first part done, but didn't cooperate or return for the reading of the test. We chose a new community because my friend never completed the test, but everything worked out for her at the other community. But Standish was a very nice place.

We chose Farmington Station mainly because it was the most convenient location for our family. The relationship between the hospital and this facility also seemed to be really good. Overall it has been a positive experience and I would recommend them to others.

Very pleased with our tour, mom and dad decided they would like to move in asap which was a surprise to us all. We visited over 10 different senior homes and this one stuck out the most. It was warm, welcoming, friendly and just beautiful. Staff was friendly, talked to us didn’t seem overwhelmed, residents that we meet were happy and excited to tell us how much they love living there.

I would recommend this community it is a really good place and my mother really loves it here. I have no complaints. They have activities at this community like bingo, painting, puzzles, games and more for the residents to do to stay busy and active in the community. All of my communications with the staff have been very good and they are very responsive.

For how tough this decision was for my in laws to adjust to this type of change. They are so grateful that they at least tried it out. It may not work for everyone but I have seen my loved ones flourish in this community. My father in law tells me all of the time how he does not have to worry about anything and it is wonderful. My mother in law thought this was the worst thing and now she goes to yoga work out classes and more things that we thought she would never participate in.

I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. The community is clean, friendly, and it is really nice. My loved one likes the community very much. The staff are very accessible if we have any questions or concerns about our loved one. There are options for meals for the residents to choose from. There is a monthly theme for different countries to learn about it. Mass, games, movies, and more are some of the activities offered to the residents. There are different options to choose from for the monthly fee. The more care your loved one needs the higher the monthly fee would be.

Very caring and sat with us and gave us a lot of information. They took their time and super nice. Just out of price range. The memory care wing rooms were small as well.

Everything worked out overall for my loved one's respite stay. We did have a glitch at the end. They had lost one of her hearing aids. About a week later they found it, but it was broken. I'm not sure what happened there, but we had to send it off to the factory to get it fixed. I think some of her clothes were left there. I had asked them not to to do her laundry, but they did it anyway. When I got there to pack her up, she was in the front hall listening to music with the group. I packed everything and found what I thought was the other hearing aid. I was assuming she had the other one in her ear. But when I went to get her, she said she couldn't hear me. I found it strange they had her sitting there listening to music with no hearing aids in. It made me wonder how often that happened. But other than that, things were good. It's a beautiful place, like staying at a hotel. The facility is nicely updated, and they had a nice outdoor space with chairs, tables, and a gas fireplace. The director was very nice. When I need another respite stay, I would definitely go back there. They charge the same as what I would pay for somebody to come and stay at my house to care for her, which I've done in the past and wasn't happy with how that turned out. So it's nice to know that Farmington Station exists. She wasn't upset when she came home. Everything seemed okay. It's just so hard when she doesn't talk or remember.

There isn’t enough time or space to convey how amazing this facility is- and not just the building...it’s the people in it!!!!! The people are top notch. Above and beyond with their care, kindness and responsiveness. I still get overwhelmed by what a dream it has been to have my father here. We had SO many bad experiences before coming here. I doubted we would ever get my father good care .....and then came Cornerstone. I was in disbelief, thought it might be short lived, but, no- it gets better and better. Do not hesitate for a second to put your loved one here.

The staff at Cornerstone are so attentive, they know all of the residents by name and the families that come to visit. They are great about making sure nobody is stuck in their rooms and that everyone is engaging with each other whether that be in big groups or smaller groups. They are giving our love done all the care that she needs and we are pleased.

The services have been good so far, our loved one goes to the memory care side for part of the day and she is really enjoying it. She really has made a lot of friends and they offer a big variety of activities. The meals at first started out being very good but right now it is a hit or a miss.

Our loved ones who are currently at Anchor Bay absolutely love the staff, when with all the staffing issues and turnover rates they are doing an amazing job. The food is wonderful, and even though they do not take advantage of the activities, they activities that are offered are good. It is excellent value for the money, and we really like how Anchor Bay has apartments with wonderful balconies that overlook a great view.

The community is always kept very clean and the staff members are excellent. The meals and dining get a 4 star rating right now because they are in somewhat of a lockdown so the dining service and meals are a little limited. However, the activities are awesome there is always a ton of things going on during the day.

Farmington Station is an absolutely gorgeous facility

I would highly recommend the community to others. The food is very good, and there is no reason to be bored. The staff is extremely kind and will cook anything the resident wants. This is one of the thing that the residents looks forward to.

My experience at Anchor Bay has been nothing but excellent. Staff is so friendly and caring for my brother who has returned after a stay in hospital and nursing home. I have just placed my 97 year old Dad with Anchor Bay. From the day of the first call, to his admission - I have met the most professional, supportive, caring, welcoming , funny people I have ever met. and having a bit of "funny" is important in this process. Everyone knows my dad - all of the staff, nurses, nurse assistants, activity aka "cruise" directors, CNAs, "helpers" , custodians, electricians, plumbers, elevator techs, assistants of all kinds, the decorators, the chefs, the fun makers, everyone - I cannot say enough. You have created a world of wonder for these residents and I thank you for it - my family thanks you for it - from the bottom of our hearts.

Moving into Anchor Bay East Providence was made so much easier by [name removed] and her staff. I was made welcome from day one. The facility is beautiful and the food wonderful. Everyone there seems to really enjoy either residing there or working there.
