The management could be much better. We are not getting what we should as a community. We are left out continually when it comes to services. It appears management does not care. We are constantly paying rent, getting nothing in return.

I'm going to have to give them a 2 right now because we set my father up to do a direct debit and the first time he had to write a check because it wouldn't go through and they charged him twice. They were really poor at resolving it, I can say the management there is not good at all. The manager ignored us and ignored my father, I had to threaten with a lawyer to get her to pay attention and even when I called the regional manager I got no response. The assitant manager is a really great guy, the facilities are great, the maintenence is great, the housekeeping is great, the facility is very nice. He's happy there with the people and the facilities but the manager is jsut not good. For the money, this was the best I could find and we needed something almost immedeatly and if this didn't even happy from the very beginning we wouldn't have had any problems.

The Senior Suites of Marquette Village has an infestation of mice, roaches and bedbugs; all reported to management. The building has younger residents residing at this location, who appear unstable. There is no security; packages stolen on multiple occasions. This has been reported aa well to management. The signage in the building states this is a smoke free environment, yet it smells of cigarettes and Marijuana; this was also reported to management. The building is very dirty on the inside; on the outside the benches are worn ..no place to sit that is clean. It was recently stated that there is no janitor/maintenance person. Absolutely no activities, It was recently stated there is no driver anymore to assist seniors with going to the grocery store for food or anything else. They have also announced that seniors will need to pay to use the washers and dryers in the building. This building is very poorly managed. I would not recommend this to any seniors.

They're senior suites of Hegewisch is filthy my mother moved in, and they're supposed to fix a lot of stuff. The vent in the kitchen over the stove is full of grease. The shower and the bathroom it is dirty. Are you supposed to have clean it some of the seniors the toilet was overflowing. The parking lot floods people in the office? It seems like they don't care they don't vacuum the elevator's always filthy. The walls are dirty. Those things need a lot of help. But they won't say that they because they are scared

Senior Suites of Marquette Village is the worse Senior building i have ever seen. My family thought this would be a nice place for our Senior relative. Its been a nightmare. First, young adults are mixed in with the Senior population. These young adults wander the building and look mentally unstable. Second, infestation of roaches, bedbugs and mice... enough said. Third, who cleans this building?? Obviously no one, it smells of cigarettes' smoke and Marijuana that fills my loved ones apartment. My loved one doesn't smoke. We have complained about this building.. no one returns emails or calls. Recently, there was a fire here and water damage everywhere. This place is a cancerous, nightmare that is poorly managed. In my opinion, this is one of the worse senior buildings I have ever seen.

I moved here in [date removed], and it was on now it is a nightmare. I have not slept or felt safe. The people here are rude and invasive. [name removed] and her people talk negative about people. I moved here for peace. Even though I adopted a dog without training I have not felt welcome. It is a severe problem with the management

This facility has no redeeming qualities. Management is unapproachable. I WAS EVICTED & ASKED. WHAT I could do to make things right. Repairs to units non existent. Food is inedible. This facility is very overpriced. Had great activity director & she was fired. Many residents living there now are on fear of being evicted.when I was evicted this facility cost me approx. $[removed] inproperty thrown away. So I had additional costs to replace items thrown out. Day evicted. Told them I had a place to go, but, couldn't get in for 1 week. Offered to pay cash to stay at solsticefo a week. Didn't want to work with me. Had to stay at motel which cost additional $$. Also had to pay movers to move my items into storage. So to recap: 1. Had to pay for motel 2. Pay movers twice 3. Replace all items thrown out. By the way moved into my apartment exactly 1 week later. Like I said. Also I am inwheel chair.(hemiplegic)completely paralyzed on left side. This could have been prevented if they would have taken a moment to speak with me. Understand this is a business. But, we are human beings.also I'm 66 years old. This place is horrible.firing people left &right &replacing with relatives or boyfriends.lot of Nepotism going on. Fortunately in huge apartment now & only paying quartet of rent that I Paid at solstice. When I moved there it was with my boyfriend. But, he passed away The day we moved in.thats why I could afford. But, when he died. Downsized to afford. Should have left long time ago. Also they use an outside accounting firm. When I got my 1st invoice. I WAS OVER CHARGED BY $[removed]. I should not have had to do their accounting for them.

I was very unhappy regarding cleanliness, and no professionalism at all. I saw many other places and no other place was as nasty as this one. There was a smell that I could not fathom on each floor I went to.

Pretty much a bad experience with The manager. If you ask to get anything done maintenance will complain the entire time, whether it’s a broken shade, a clogged sink or a broken spring in the window And somehow belittle you in the process

My mother has lived at Senior Suites of Ravenswood Manor for over 20 years. She was happy here until bed bugs moved in. After the 1st round of treatments, my mother found bugs. Management insisted she was seeing things. Finally, they conceded her unit was infested. Inspections & treatments were poorly scheduled w/ insufficient communications & no shows throughout this 2-year ordeal. The story now is that tenants were "refusing entry' for exterminators. That is not true in my mother's case. She has never denied entry. We've spent thousands to remedy this, including lawyer fees. Their insurance, Travelers, stated the bldg was not at fault & refuses to compensate us for any costs. They refuse to remove carpet & inspect the floors underneath where bed bugs hide & survive treatment. They required that her bed be removed & this 86-year-old woman slept on a couch for months w/ her possession in storage. Now, I'm trying to get confirmation that the unit is clear & emails are ignored. AVOID.

I would not subject my loved one to be in this place. I am moving my mother out of here asap. Across witnessed a verbal altercation with a worker and a residents daughter. Very unprofessional! It is not the first time I have seen this. This office worker has such a vile filthy mouth. I now know why my Mother does not like to complain about anything, afraid of the repercussions! Bad place!

the building manager is very rude and disrespectful to the seniors

When are you going to get the washers and Dryers fixed. 1 washer and dryer for 80 units is Uncalled for.

Do not go here. This is the worst living experience I have ever had. There are 0 activities and what they promised didn't happen. They have no parking for the residence and we had to use public parking. The facility is extremely dirty and they don't take care of the building. The rent is way too high and the staff has been turned over several times.

Make sure they outline their COVID policy that They just made up...they will not allow your family to visit you in your own apartment! No masks, no temp checks to allow you in, you are just not allowed. Management is not providing any other answer other than they are following CDC guidelines. CDC doesn’t recommend shutdowns like this, masks and temp checks take our IDs. I do not recommend.

If I know now what I should have known then, I would have never put my mom into senior suites. It’s not a safe and secure building, there are always “hidden” costs, and tons of false promises. Not happy with this situation.

[jname removed] didn't show up after waiting 30 min.a janitor called her She asked me how much I pay now what I was looking for gave me a quick brush off said they had no 1 bd rm.I'll keep looking.

I have no idea how the place looks because the management office was unprofessional in keeping their times. I scheduled an appointment with the property manager 3 weeks ago for today 10/29 at 12:30pm come to find out no one was in the office. That is very unprofessional because they could have had the decency to call me and let me know whatever was going on so it makes me wonder how the staff runs the place!

Bed bug heaven. My 90 year old mothers apartment was infested. She lost every thing she owned including all clothing. Other seniors are dealing with this same problem. Management changes hands often and they have no sense of urgency to remedy the problem. My mother loved living there, unfortunate so do the bed bugs.

I was referred to this facility, but I can’t reach anyone in the office and they don’t return calls!!
