We chose McCullough Place because they had what my grandmother needed and she was very comfortable right off the bat here. They were accommodating and willing to work with us on certain things as well which was nice. It was a good experience I would recommend them.

We chose Park Creek Place because he liked that it was a smaller community and it was a better price for what he would be able to get. I would tell others who are looking just so they know that is private pay and they do not take medicare or medicaid. It is more of a month to month rent rather than a buy in. The room sizes here are small but it is big enough for his needs. Overall, I would recommend to others looking.

From our understanding the care is good, the doctors and nurse practitioners come in regularly. The staff members do try their very best to take care of the residents. When it comes to the activities they keep the group activities very limited, but they do one on ones. When it comes to the value everything is inclusive, we are quite happy with the overall value.

I would tell people not to go to Liberty Heights. Overall they did good, but we left because the food was so bad. The food wasn't edible, and residents still complain about it. There were exercise classes, different support groups, book club, jeopardy and more for the residents to choose from. The administration team wasn't willing to assist with fixing the issues with the food. I felt they just smiled and didn't hear our complaints. At the beginning the community was good, and I feel it was starting to go downhill after we moved in.

I would recommend this community to others. My loved one had a good experience at Logan Place. We were ale to go in and see our loved one during the hospice stag. The staff were very attentive for my loved one.

The staff members at Courtyard Fountains community are excellent, and i really like how friendly they all are to me. They are really well trained, and I would recommend this community to a family or a friend.

Very informative and helpful virtual tour. Questions were answered and recommendations were made that fit our situation.

We chose Meadowbrook of Agoura Hills because it was by far the nicest that we visited and it is close to my husbands office. They staff members are also very sweet. My mothers room here is a great size for her, bigger than her last facility. The best part about the community so far has been how good the staff are at communicating with the families, especially during COVID. I would recommend.

The staff members at Brookdale Lisle are excellent. Prior to closing the activities due to COVID they had a nice list that showed all the activities. Some of those were swimming, aquatic exercises, shared exercise groups. A transportation service that came five days a week to take them to various stores and malls. This community had allowed the residents to take outside walks around the property for a few months now.

I moved in the day before lock down. I'm not sure what it was like before COVID. It's a friendly community. When were able to eat in the dining room the food was wonderful. They now have to box the food up into delivery containers. I think it loses some of the taste. I usually have to warm my food up. They do a great job when the food is in dining room.

We chose Courtyard Fountains because of how it looked on the inside,it had a very warm and inviting feel. The staff was very friendly and helpful, overall, it was a better value for the money than some we looked into. The apartments seem to be adequate or slightly larger than most. The food is really good. The best part about the community has been the social aspect before the virus, so she was able to make friends. I would recommend.

My mom has resided in the Sheridan since Feb, 2020. It was not easy moving her from her life long residence in Chicago. She is 96 years old. Since being at Sheridan, my mom has been eating, dressing, and has been hospital free, which was not the case when she was living alone. To be honest, the transition was not easy, but the staff at Sheridan is very attentive to her needs and understands the mental challenges she is facing having to give up her independence of living alone. We are grateful to them for their caring and making her feel special. Yes, there still are complaints from my mom, but everyone deals with them and tries to pacify her as well as possible. The weekly calls from [name removed] are reassuring and the staff keeps us posted immediately if any issues arise with mom. As Covid hit in March, her routine is naturally disrupted, but kudos to Sheridan for making this difficult time as palatable as possible. It is commendable that no residents at Sheridan contracted the virus. Thank you so much for that. Knowing how active my mom is, I would just like to see more activities to keep her engaged. I am sure this will happen once the State opens up more post virus. Thanks to all of the staff, nurses, and support for taking care of my mom. Bottom line, she is doing 1000% better at Sheridan than if she were living with a family member or living alone. I highly recommend this facility to anyone considering assisted living arrangements!

I would want others to know when looking into this facility that it was a very homey and comfortable place. I remember seeing the calendar every month for the activities and it was always so full. I did eat here a couple of times and it was very good, they had a menu with a variety of choices. I would recommend Camellia Walk.

I would recommend this community to my friends for their parents. Everyone was very friendly. My loved one was able to get involved with activities, and he was apprehensive about going to the community at first.

I would tell them that they are very nice, compassionate staff and community according to my loved one. The location is a quiet, tranquil, and nice setting with wildlife. I like the food that I have tasted. The room my loved one lives in is a studio. The view is nice looking towards the woods. The apartment includes an ADA bathroom and microwave. The activities calendar isn't posted on a wall, or passed out to my loved one consistently. The activities aren't geared towards my loved one. My loved one feels it is more towards women, than men. The community experience is more like shopping than out to fun activities. The happy hour has confused the residents due to location and day of the week change. I feel that there are some activities could be more, and the residents are a little bummed out of activities, post COVID. This is prior to COVID regarding activities..

It was great. I would recommend them to others. The marketing person we dealt with was great to deal with. The room sizes and layout were good if not better then the others I looked at. Overall it was a positive experience.

The food at Woodbourne is not very good, but the community overall has a very comfortable feeling. The rooms are very spacious, plenty of room. They have a small room where you can watch TV as well as other gathering rooms. Compared to other facilities in the area, the cost to stay at Woodbourne is pretty average.

I would recommend them, particularly if they are local. This is the spot to be. The food is excellent for me now. The room is fine for me, and excellent. I pay for it, and think they are pretty good.

My father has been living at Addington Place now since May of 2020. I have to say that Addington has been a very helpful and kind to my father and my family. Given this extremely tough time (COVID), the staff has been very helpful. The executive director, [name removed], is very involved with the residents and any concerns that I have...not many, he has addressed quickly and satisfactorily. My father is currently in hospice care as well, so the facility has been working with the hospice company to ensure my father gets the correct care.

My mother loves Liberty Heights and she says won't move anywhere else. The independent living staff are amazing. They have helped with anything we have needed or asked of them to do. We were aware prior to moving in that there were dining issues. The food and dining service is terrible, however, someone from corporate has stepped in to resolve the food issues. Before COVID, they welcomed family to join in activities , meals, pool, and happy hour. They have done an amazing job keeping the residents safe during COVID.
