overall the community does a good job. there a few issues with the communication I think they are doing good during the pandemic. The community is clean and neat and the staff is so friendly and my loved one really like the staff. I would recommend this community to others

I chose Wellington at Hershey's Mill because it had the space I needed for the money involved and it is in the same location where I used to live. I also talked to a lot of people and they were happy and I thought I would give it a shot and it turned out fine. They were having an end of year deal and I was able to get a 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment for a good price. The food here is really good, they are chef prepared meals. They have a form to fill out and I fill it out what I would like to eat and put the form in a basket. They have a ton of variety and every meal I have had has been just wonderful, you can either get it take out or eat in the dining room. The dining room has a dress code and you cannot wear any denim. They are going through some administrative changes at the moment and when I first moved it I kind of had to figure everything out myself because they do not provide instructions so I think that would be helpful to have.

They're pretty helpful for the most part, and they keep in touch with you. I have nothing bad to say about them, except perhaps that they let my loved one pull the wool over their eyes sometimes. She keeps getting them to put her in an ambulance and take her the hospital. She has a medical condition where sometimes she just doesn't feel well, and she doesn't understand that. But then again, I'd rather they be cautious if something truly life threatening were to be going on with her. The staff are friendly and seem to be knowledgeable. They tend to keep things clean, but sometimes they don't take her laundry to be done as quickly as I would like. But overall I would definitely recommend them to others.

I know it is well run. This is a larger community. It didn't fit what we needed for our loved one.

The community is generally a good place. the communication is good between the staff and our family. They keep us well informed and return calls back in a timely manner. I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.

We toured the community and the facility was very nice. The tour was good and the staff was very friendly. The only issue we had was the pricing was out of our range and the community was not pet friendly.

The Club looked like a fantastic place. It was brand new, and the apartments were fantastic. The people there were very nice for the brief time that we met them, and the apartment they showed us was beautiful. We picked a different community because it felt a lot cozier. We didn't experience anything negative at The Club. We just had a stronger preference for another place. Sometimes you just go with your gut. If somebody asked me, I would say definitely come check out The Club. It all depends on where you feel your loved one will be most comfortable.

Great Independent community - lovely apartments, lots to do. There is an aide service that is available at additional cost to assist residents with slightly higher needs. Willing to accommodate mom's unique needs.

The environment is beautiful. You almost feel like you're in a luxury hotel. The cleanliness was good. There was never any urine smell. They kept my frined very clean. The cost, however, and I guest his is becauseitis such a nice, well kept beautiful palce, is kind of prohibitive to regular individuals. But that is really teh only thing I could say isn't top marks - is the cost. The staff were pleasant, alsways smiling, very welcoming, very concerned about the resients. They got to know the residents and treated them as family. Sometimes my freind had to wait a little bit when she called for assistance, but it was defintiely not all the time. Just on occasion. OVerlall, the care and the response was pretty good.

It is a really nice place to live. I'm really happy here. The cleanliness and the helpful staff stand out to me. They are very friendly. The food isn't able to get here. Prior to the pandemic the food was great.

Overall, I think it's one of the better homes in our area. There was one we ranked a little higher, but we rank Garden Way Place higher than the majority of the rest, in our book. The staff that we've interacted with have been very friendly. There are a group of ladies who get together in the afternoon to do crafts and puzzles and things, and I think our love done enjoys that. Since Covid, they haven't been letting in outside services like physical therapy, which they said they would when we interviewed before moving in. Some their internal services have been curtailed as well. It's not their fault, but nevertheless it's made things difficult.

Everyone seems really helpful. It's a small community and I feel there is more personal attention provided. The communication is very good between the staff and our family. They keep us informed and very quick to return calls and texts.

Our contact was [name removd] and we spoke on the phone and then setup an onsite walkthrough. Due to COVID we were expected to take a 15 min COVID test and if negative wear a mask and robe during our walkthrough. During the walkthrough we were able to ask about security, emergency fire drills, staff training, etc. The area was clean and the actual residents and their areas were clean. This facility does not include in their pricing any personal favorite items your family member may need (soap, lotion, wipes, salon needs, toiletries, etc.) There was a salon on site and a spa bath which we were told the residents love-it has an easy accessible step up door to the bath as well.

LOVE that they have 3 levels of memory care, if/when that would be needed. 2. Good location for all to visit.

Woodbourne Place is a nicer small facility with only about 40 beds. The administrator has been very nice and helpful. Overall we have been pleased and I would recommend them to other families who are looking.

With the virus I have basically been in lock down for about 5 months. I am very disappointed because they do not have any in house doctors or therapy. In the beginning the food was good but now the food here is not good since being delivered, they do not have a dietitian and they are not nutritious. My apartment does have a balcony with a washer and dryer and it is a nice place, but I am waiting for things to open back up.

We chose McCullough Place because they had what my grandmother needed and she was very comfortable right off the bat here. They were accommodating and willing to work with us on certain things as well which was nice. It was a good experience I would recommend them.
