Their information is really quite nice, I think that they do a great job of presenting themselves. It has been a great experience and I would recommend Wellington at Hershey's Mill to others.

I would feel very comfortable sending anyone here that I care about. This is a small community and the staff know the residents very well. Due to this they know the needs of the residents a lot better. Also there is not a lot of turnover with the staff so they have that longevity with the community. The level of care and compassion is shown from the top down and the director is just as active with the patients as the normal caregivers.

I have been 90% in favor of The Woodmark. I've been most impressed with the safety for my loved one, and some of the caregivers that are very friendly. There is a nurse who is not friendly at all towards the residents or family. Dressing and medication management is some of the care the community is able to provide. The community works well with the hospice team. They had an activities director when I first placed my loved one into the community, and now they don't have a director to assist with the activities. The only thing the community is doing to assist my loved one with activities is laying something in front of them. My loved one does enjoy watching the people in the community. The food is sat in front of my loved one for them to eat.

Park Creek Place was immaculate. The marketing director we met with was fabulous and really willing to work with us on what we needed. The only downfall for us was that the residents seemed to need more care than my loved one does, all of the care types were mixed together. Other than that it looked like a great facility.

Spring Hills Cherry Hill is a very nice facility but is it really big. It is an "old"/nice hotel that was converted and we were looking for a place that was a little smaller in size for our loved one.

I would recommend Walden Place to others for their loved ones, and already have. I wish the follow up on information from the staff about my loved one's care would be better. Some of the care my loved one receives includes monitor blood sugar, medication management, and more Bus Trips, shopping trips, bingo, outside entertainment, music, activity center, and more are some of the activities for the residents to choose from. The food is excellent here.

I like it here. It is clean, nice and the people are very friendly.

The staff are very friendly, personable and helpful. The apartments are a good size with plenty of room. From what our loved one has said the meal and dining service is great and even though they choose to not participate in the activities they always have a ton going on. We would recommend the Walden Place to other families.

I've had to come to understand what assisted care means, and that there are different levels of care. I question the care here. My person, who was not able to do a lot of things herself, had an accident, and an aide told her to clean it up herself because she doesn't clean the floors. I also absolutely do not understand why they don't make low salt meals for their elderly residents. The place is beautiful and spotlessly clean. There are enough activities there. Friendliness overall was outstanding. There was one staff member in particular who was like a jack of all trades - he did whatever tasks were needed within the facility. He was kind and compassionate and would sit with and joke with the residents. He was terrific. The kindness that he showed to the residents is so important and necessary. All of these places are exorbitantly expensive, but from what I can tell they all cost about the same. I think for anyone who needs assisted care, you really have to have a good understanding of what that is. I learned that facilities can have different types of licenses that dictate what medical services they can and cannot provide. If your loved one has high care needs, you might want to look for a place that has an advanced care license. The Club at Briarcliff Manor has no RN's there, only LPNs. Which again could be an issue of your loved one is on many medications and needs a high level of care. The head LPN was very accommodating to me and worked together with me, but she was just limited by the facility's license. Just know that you need to be an advocate for your loved one, no matter which facility you choose.

The place had great high ratings and it was a great tour. However, my loved one was in the assisted living for a short stay prior to having to be hospitalized. My loved one has been in during the pandemic. Some of the staff are very caring. There are other staff that don't care as much as others. The higher up staff don't seem to care, and they didn't seem to know what is going on. It seems like the corporation is saving money by hiring people that are early on in their career. The Executive Director was very nice to deal with. The billing was hard for the family to sort out for a bit. The woman in charge of Memory Care is very good and sweet. The skilled nursing would be better if they hired more nurses than CNAs. There has been times that my loved one's medical supplies have not been replaced in a timely manner by the staff. The staff does laundry and bring it back to the my loved one's room. I wish they would take the time to hang the laundry up for my loved one as well. There is a lack of communication between the staff and family and between the staff themselves.

Good community, just didn't seem like it would be a good fit for my loved one.

We chose Woodbourne Place because the location was convenient for me, they gave a great presentation on what they did and how they did it, and the staff seemed to be very caring. I would let others know that you do have to provide all of your own furniture for the rooms which I was not aware of in the beginning. I would recommend them to others.

I liked Spring Oaks. It seemed like an okay place for a loved one. I especially liked that they had outdoor spaces available to their memory care residents.

I really liked Park Creek Place, it came down to this facility and the one we ultimately chose. I like that the facility is memory care only and looking back, I wish I would have placed her here. I think the residents have more freedom since it is not a facility that has multiple levels of care. They have a very big outdoor space that looked really nice. They are also able to keep residents longer if you run out of money.

They have been very responsive, and they moved Mom in quickly. The community offers plenty of activities, including happy hours. She really needed the socialization aspect, and it has been a great fit for her. They have an ambassador program with one ambassador on each floor, which I thought was a great idea. So when she first moved in, somebody came by and took her to dinner. They do a nice job of helping out new residents. And Mom is very happy with the food as well.

This community was very nice but for my mom but it was too open and glamorous. The studio room was also very small. For the price that was being paid there was just not enough being given. It just would not have worked for my loved one. Charges were on a scale also and I was not sure that this would work for my loved ones budget.

When we did the initial tour we were impressed, it is very clean, big and has a lot of natural light. It has that friendly, cozy, home like atmosphere to it, it does not feel like a hospital. They have a ton of activities, about three different things going on throughout the day that you can see posted up on their calendar.

This is a really good community. I have been happy so far if there is something that my loved one needs they are on it right away. With some things I feel like they could take some extra steps to be a little more proactive for my loved one. The staff are very sweet and attentive and they are there for us and my loved one.
