The memory care was a locked ward. It had more of a clinical atmosphere and much less light without a central courtyard. We ended up choosing a different community.

It was very welcoming and had a good location for us. Initially, they seemed perfect. We have to check up on things quite often to make sure our loved one is getting the care and attention she needs. On the other hand, they have been very quick to fix the problems and have quite a lot on their plate. They do still seem to be the best choice for our loved one, but it isn't perfect.

It's a brand new building, up to date facilities, view of the marina, easy walk to the beach, couple of restaurants within walking distance, and 0.5 mile to HRT public transportation. Flexible choice of meal plan, not locked into having to pay for fixed meal plan, residents can dine and charge without having to subscribe to meal plan, daily nutritious continental breakfast without extra charge. Cook breakfast available for a charge ($5-$7). Three large elevators, beautiful theatre, indoor pool for water aerobics, and gym for exercises & yoga. Bar area for residents to socialize. Frequent visiting artists to perform for residents in the theater. U-Tube movies in the theater for residents. Assistant Living building adjacent to the Independent Living building in the process of being built, ready in 2024 for residents who need more care to move into. 24 hours concierge's services. Night concierge check on residents with special needs like heart problems, several times in the night. An outdoor pool to be built situated by the marina. (Expect to be ready in late 2024.) Residents can join (with fee) as members.

The maintenance team has been good at fulfilling any requests. The meal prices compared to the portions is higher, than I think should be charged. They have a good continental breakfast for the residents. The residents have the ability to cook in their apartments, as there is a full kitchen in the apartment. The community provides a shuttle for the residents to use for appointments and more within a 10 mile radius of the community. It would be nice to have the ability to go into Downtown Norfolk for residents to be able to see specialty doctors. The pricing is more than I thought it would be, and I would make sure that you are able to afford all the costs. The Activities Director quit on the spot, and there was supposed to be a new Activities Director coming into the community, but haven't seen them yet. [name removed] is a real jewel for the residents and community. Also it would be nice to have the community listen to the resident's ideas for field trips, activities, and changes within the community.

My family and loved one have had a good experience with the community. The community is clean. Everyone is friendly here. They provide transportation for doctor visits, and the staff can assist with medication management for the residents. Overall, we would recommend the community to others for their loved ones.

My mom is a resident at Brookdale Lisle. My ratings are for Assisted Living. My ratings for Care Services, Staff, Activities, and Value for Cost could easily go to a 4 rating if the facility wasn't so reliant on Agency Staffing. Some Agency employees have been marvelous, caring, committed, compassionate, and competent. Others have been much less so. Also, Brookdale Lisle would benefit substantially increasing weekend activities, especially for Assisted Living residents!

They're very good to my father. I can't answer all the questions because I know nothing about the food or other things as I am away when I put him into respite care. From what I can tell, they take excellent care of him and I would recommend them to others.

My loved likes the food. We picked this community because it was convient/close, and the completeness of the living options. They can improve on the communication with the move-in process. Other than that, everything worked out fine. My loved one likes the community, and has settled in. Overall, I would recommend to other families.

Courtyard Fountains was ok but the assisted living facility was old and looks run down. They are going to remodel that area. The people I spoke to were very nice and informative.

Our loved ones only complaint is the meals and our loved one is not engaged in the activities fully. However what we really like about Camellia Walk is the experienced staff and we would recommend the community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

My mother was the one who was here daily, she does not really remember any specific encounters per se, but she did say that everyone that she came in contact with was lovely. I would recommend Bayshore Memory Care to others.

Moorehead has been a great place for our mother. The facility and rooms are bright, inviting and lovely. We have found that all the staff we dealt with to be friendly, professional, informative and caring. We receive updates when needed; our questions and concerns are always answered in a timely manner. We have observed that since our mother has been at Moorehead, she is happier and much more engaged socially than she was when she was living alone. Our mother likes most of the staff members and in particular [name removed] who does so many varied and fun activities for the residents as the Life Enrichment Coordinator. Her biggest and consistent complaint has been the quality of the food. We weren't sure if it was the quality of the food or that she wasn't very hungry, however, when she stayed for a few days in the hospital she loved the food there and ate very well. Overall, we are very happy with Moorehead and would recommend it to anyone seeking Assisted Living in the Indiana, PA area.

Obviously my scores represent more care needs and cost concerns. Sometimes , mom isn't tended to in a timely manner. It's very concerning, especially if she really needed help. I. E. Like if she fell. When it comes to care, communication, follow up and meals - that could be improved. The food is nominal and our loved one will not eat it.

Nice people, I would recommend! The apartments are clean and modern. They have a new stainless refrigerator, large bathroom, and it's a studio apartment. They will clean and do laundry once a week. There is happy hour twice a week. They have various activities. There is physical therapy on-site, and a gym area. Mount Prospect Senior Living is a very nice place, and you can feel good about your family member living there.

What stood out to me about this facility is they were in a more secluded (non city street with high traffic) location which I knew my loved one would love because she lived in a small town. They also offered 'all inclusive care' which short of memory care would not go up in price as her care changed over time. That was enormous for us as other places I liked sort of nickel and dimmed things like med distribution and clothing assistance etc. The staff is all very very friendly. Sometimes at night it takes a bit longer to get assistance if she pushes her button for small tasks. They do post a schedule of activities daily for the next day including exercise crafts bingo other games and movie nights. They have shopping trips planned to different stores the residents can sign up for and they are attending a play coming up this month at a local performing arts center. They have a great salon they can visit. They do offer weekly laundry and light cleaning and nightly trash pick up which all pretty much goes off without a hitch. I would recommend this location to someone looking for a place like this for a loved one as they have been very accommodating to special requests and unique situations. They are very communicative and relay important information quickly when it comes to health concerns or something out of the ordinary.

Very caring staff. Just not enough. They could add another care giver to the assisted wing. We picked this community, because it was closer to my brother and I. And because of the reputation

The staff here is great. They really do treat their residents with kindness and compassion. The building is clean and never has any weird smells when we go to visit. I would absolutely, 100% recommend Lindsay Place to other families who are looking.

Everyone at The Sheridan is really nice. The staff seem very attentive, and they get back to me promptly. I really like that they offer a two bedroom suite with a shared bathroom, which saved us so much money. I wasn't finding that option at other places I looked into. They were also able to work with us on pricing. We like The Sheridan very much, and I'm so glad we went with them.

The staff is super friendly. The place is absolutely gorgeous. It's bright and cheery, and you don't feel like you're in a hospital or nursing facility. The staff is responsive. It has been a good experience overall.

We picked this community because, of the location and cleanliness. They are very good at accepting, the families input or requests. They are very tolerant of my loved one. I would recommend to other famillies.
