This past weekend my wife and I visited Bayshore Memory Care and had an appointment with sales manager [name removed] she was so helpful and welcoming to us. We really felt like she was listening to our needs and I know my wife’s mom will do well there once we get her moved. The campus was so beautiful and well maintained. The residents were happy and all looked happy. The staff was very friendly and they all welcomed us. There were fun activities happening and we felt like we found the perfect location. I Toured Bayshore this past weekend. Great location, beautiful community, lots of activities for their residents. I really liked the layout of the community as well as the apartment sizes. The one bedroom was so beautiful and spacious. This is where I will be moving my mother once the time comes. [Name removed] the sales manager was very knowledgeable and helpful.

I began looking for a memory care facility for my husband about 6 months before I thought I'd need it. After researching many facilities near my home, a huge criteria, I narrowed my choice to 3 facilities. I decided on Bayshore based on the following: the ratio of aides to residents, the activities provided, the age of the facility, the nursing care in place, the age of the residents, and the size of the rooms for the price. Moving my beloved husband at an early age is the hardest thing I ever had to do. I had been providing his total care for years and it proved too much for me. I couldn't be more pleased with his residency at Bayshore. The food verges on gourmet, with new items added monthly. It is served by one of the most efficient, kind and caring women I have seen in a facility of this nature. The activities are stimulating for many of the residents, even though my husband does not participate on a daily basis. The certified health aides are outstanding. They seem to really care about the people they care for and will inform me daily about how my husband has been doing. They keep them clean and safe. I have heard several say how much they love their jobs. The nursing staff, on the premises at all time, are exemplar. They monitor meds and are always on alert for changing conditions in the patient's health. There doctors who come EVERY week and check on all who need attention. The housing department (maintenance, laundry, and cleaning) keep everything in top shape. Unlike some facilities, there is NO unpleasant odor anywhere. Feedback is accepted my management positively. There are monthly meetings to voice concerns as well as accolades. Hospice and Alzheimer's programs are welcomed monthly as well. And finally, there is always a smiling, happy concierge to greet you and say goodbye. They are two of the most positive women I have ever met. My husband's neurologist thought Bayshore would be the best fit for him at his age, and I totally agree with him. My mother was in a different memory care facility for three years. Even though she was much older, there is no comparison between what I had previously experienced and Bayshore Memory Care. Thank you Bayshore for taking such good care of my husband.

My husband came to Bayshore Memory Care in [date removed]. My wonderful daughter-in-law came from Indiana and we visited numerous places within 20 miles of Pine Ridge Road. Before she came she had been online and made contact with Bayshore. Everyone we spoke with was so nice and helpful. The first thing we noticed at Bayshore was there was NO ODOR! The community is nicely decorated and kept very clean. The executive staff are beyond nice. Everyone is very helpful and shows interest in not only the residents, but also the family members. They are always available to help or discuss any concerns the family may have. The activities person lines up different entertainers, parties and outings for the residents and families. Bayshore has the best nursing staff I have ever encountered. There are doctors that visit frequently and are available to meet with families for any questions. The nurses communicate to the doctors and family members any needs of the residents. The food at Bayshore is excellent! They have a great Chef who has worked with me continuously to ensure that my husband is not served something he shouldn't be because of his diet limitations. Bayshore has a great team - laundry, housekeeping and caregivers! I try to treat the caregivers how I would like to be treated if I was in their position. I have made friends with many of the caregivers and know all of them by first name. I always give them a kiss on the cheek and a hug. They are a wonderful group of people and I make sure to always thank them for their care. We (my husband and I) are VERY happy here. If you have a loved one that needs memory care - this is the place to be.

My Mother arrived at Spring Oaks 6 short months ago. Before arriving, she lived a private home assisted living. My mother couldn’t stand and needed lots of help with everyday tasks. She had been diagnoses with the onset of dementia and was told she would probably not get better. The staff at Spring Oaks are wonderful! And the change in my Mom in 6 short months is a miracle! She can walk, she can now dress and feed herself. I wish I could show you a before and after picture, so you can see the return of my Mom. She loves it at Spring Oaks. She has lots friends and keeps busy doing activities. Her mental condition has remarkably improved. I credit a lot of this miracle to the staff and people at Spring Oaks. The people that work there care. They are friendly and have treated my mom with love and respect. They pushed my Mom to engage in the actives. They cared for her like she was family. My mom calls Spring Oaks "HOME". When I took my mom there I trusted the staff there to take care of Mom, but they did way more than that they treated like family. Priceless!

Bayshore is an exceptional memory care home in Southwest Florida. My father had brain cancer at an advanced age, and I am convinced that Bayshore staff, working closely with Hospice staff, provided Dad with the highest quality of life while he battled a terrible disease. The medical staff at Bayshore is exceptional. The division manager is experienced, knowledgeable, and proactive. He works closely with his staff of nurses to ensure that the right medicines are given to residents at the right time, at the right dose. The nursing staff knew how to deal with unusual medical needs when my father's behavior spiraled out of control. The medical staff worked closely with Hospice doctors and nurses to carry out their orders. In addition, the medical staff worked closely with Hospice to source medicines for my father so we would not be billed unnecessarily. The nurses were very compassionate and kind. My father's room was very pleasant with a large window looking out on the beautiful courtyard garden. There was a thermostat in the room so we could control the temperature. His laundry was done promptly, too. We could lock a section of the closet to protect valuables. I loved the layout of Bayshore because the building is designed for residents with memory issue and brain diseases. It is a square with a garden in the middle. The residents live safely in a locked facility, but they can go outdoors to the garden any time. Visitors must check-in and check-out, but we could go in and out freely with no problems. If residents need to walk, they can walk in a continuous circle throughout the building, indoors, and never reach the end of a hall, which might frustrate them. Some days, my father and I walked and walked around the building when he needed to burn off agitation. The food was good, and visitors can pay to join residents for meals. The chef and staff were flexible, and provided al a carte foods when we requested. Bayshore staff helped residents eat if they needed help. We enjoyed the fun activities in the game room -- singing, special guest entertainers, group games, and therapy dog visits. Sometimes there were field trips for residents who were interested in going out for an afternoon on an adventure. The nursing assistants and other caregivers were kind and compassionate to residents and guests. The rates are very reasonable for a facility that has so many amenities. Settlement of Dad's bills were prompt, and the business manager was very helpful to answer all questions and research any questions I had about bills. I really appreciated the orientation meeting that the Director arranges for every new resident's family. At the meeting, I met all division leaders -- the chef, facilities manager, activities director, medical director, etc. They briefed me on procedures and services. I could ask questions and got to know the key "go to" employees in Bayshore. Having met the division managers, it was easy to find them and ask them questions if I needed information or help for my father. I highly recommend Bayshore for anyone in your family needing residential memory care. I have heard that is is one of the best memory care homes in all of Southwest Florida, and I believe it.

My mother first moved into Mangrove Bay/Independent Living when she was 91. After her eye site deteriorated we felt it was time to move to Assisted Living. After living on the assisted size for 2 years we felt mom needed 24 care and much more personalized attention. Along with the guidance of the director, [name removed], we decided to move my mom to the Memory Care Floor. Fast forward...my mom just had her 96th birthday. The staff are extremely loving and devoted to all their residents. I see it because I am there almost every day. The supervisor [name removed] is always available to speak to me if I have any questions or concerns. She has given me her personal cell number and told me to contact her at any time. [Name removed], the activities director is a very special person. She has got my mother engaged and active when I thought we were at the end. Even though my mother is mostly blind and has difficulty hearing, [Name removed] manages to get my mother engaged and participating in her daily program. The aids and nurses are a very special group of caring individuals that are always pleasant and reassuring to my mom. I can't rave enough about the aids because they are angels doing a job that is not always very glamorous. I feel we made the right choice for my mom almost 5 years ago. The staff has helped us move through different levels of care as her needs have changed. She is still healthy and just enjoyed another birthday with a homemade cake by one of the other residents, balloons, a corsage from Alma and all of the staff and residents singing and making a fuss over my mom. I appreciate all the staff at Mangrove Bay, including the people at the front desk like Susan and all the others, the drivers and the maintenance men. This may sound unreal but when I visit my mom almost daily, these people are like shining stars to me. They have become my friends with the huge responsibility of taking care of my mother.

Love this place. They have been super with my husband. He has lewy body disease and bad hallucinations. They were patient with him and changed his medicines that really helped him. The staff is very professional and have excellent doctors/nurses and aides that have helped him immensely. Recommend a 5 star rating.

We love this place!! My mother just recently needed, decided to move out of her house and is requiring a tad more help. But she is still very independent. She can have the best of both here! She loves it - which makes us very happy also. The facility is beautiful. All employees are super friendly and helpful!!!

My dad is currently at Clen-Moore. He needed care to be able to live as independently and safely as possible. Clen-Moore has provided that from day 1. They focus on living well for each and every resident. regardless of anyone's challenges as they age - all of Clen-Moore from every level exhibit kindness, respect, and quality of care. I have appreciated that focus.

We are very pleased with the events there at Clen Moore place. The spaghetti dinner was excellent. The staff is what makes the facility and they truly care about the residents. Phyllis the activity director is very engaged and supportive of all residents. [Name removed] the afternoon caregiver along with Sharron are wonderful. Annette and Carol have worked to make an excellent medication plan for my father saving us a lot of expense.

The staff is very friendly. Helpful when needed. When my father passed away everyone was great with my mother.

The staff is very warm, caring and helpful. I feel my loved one is safe and feel confident in the care received. The facilities are lovely, comfortable and well maintained. There are many activities to keep residents engaged. The food is well presented and nourishing. I would recommend this community to others.

This would have been our third choice of the facilities toured. Everything was perfect but we thought if felt too big and not as homey as the top two.

We liked Baywinde very much. Probably our top choice. Lots to do, high quality food, and well-kept facilities. [Name removed] was so helpful, especially when talking to us about Aid and Attendance from the VA.
