My parents have lived in senior independent at Lincolnwood Place for two and a half years and we have nothing but high praise for the facility and its staff. They live in a spacious 2-bedroom, 2-bath apartment. The apartments are comfortable and come will fully equipped kitchens. Although two meals per day are included in rent and the food is quite good with ample choices, sometimes my folks like to cook in their own apartment. They appreciate having that option. There is never a shortage of on-site activities including movies, concerts, lectures, discussion of current events and daily happy hour in the pub. The staff is incredibly friendly and greet each resident by name. Anytime we have had a question or needed anything, we have gotten assistance quickly, professionally and with great pleasure. The building has been going through some updating, remodeling and reconfiguring over the last year which made it necessary for my folks to move to a different apartment. The Executive Director, [name removed], did an excellent job of keeping everyone informed of the progress. She promised those affected that Lincolnwood Place would take care of the entire move and would do everything possible to make it hassle-free and stress-free for the residents. She absolutely kept her word. The move to a different apartment happened a couple of months ago and we, quite literally, did not have to lift a finger. My folks and I went out for the day and came back to the new apartment, completely set up including everything perfectly placed in every room, the pantry is the exact same order and all the clocks reset. It truly felt like someone waved a magic wand and the move was done! That type of service, kindness and care for the residents is what we have experienced in every situation since my parents moved in. I would certainly recommend Lincolnwood Place to anyone looking for senior independent living.

I toured this community. It is very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful.

My mom has been at Renaissance on Peachtree since January 2018 and lives on the Assisted Living floor. She requires help with all aspects of daily living: dressing, using the bathroom, bathing, etc. My dad, who is still able to live alone and care for himself, visits her three days a week and has had a lot of interaction with the Assistant Director and staff. My son, brother, and I visit every week. We are all impressed by the consistent quality of care at and management of this facility. The staff have been wonderful with my mom. They make all the difference in the world! They sincerely and genuinely care for and about all the residents. They are friendly, helpful, competent, and well trained. The food is delicious and the variety of daily and weekly activities is excellent. They even had a Mardi Gras parade (we’re from New Orleans), complete with bead throwing! For my parent’s 64th anniversary, all my dad had to do was ask and they arranged a very special, private dinner for them with white tablecloth, candlelight, wine, steaks, and a private, tableside chef. Everything about Renaissance on Peachtree is first class, from the atrium that looks like a five star hotel, to the hair salon, exercise classes, movies, transportation service, and weekly outings to various places around Atlanta. There is something for everyone here; it doesn’t matter if you’re completely independent or require a good deal of assistance. Each resident is treated with the same level of caring and respect. It’s close to shopping, hospitals, grocery stores, and everything else in the heart of Atlanta, for those who are more mobile. Also, they allow pets—so important to quality of life as we age. Visitor parking is quite limited but they have complimentary valet parking, so it’s never a problem. This is definitely the kind of place you want for your loved one. My family and I would highly recommend Renaissance on Peachtree to anyone looking for an assisted living facility in Atlanta.

First choice...great rooms..lovely facility..waiting on opening..

Everyone has been so friendly and helpful with us from the beginning of the process. The facility is clean and I was immediately struck with how active and engaged the residents are. We also like all of the options available to meet our budget.

Our mother was cared for at Logan Place for a little over a year before she passed. The staff cared for her and took great care of her. They always made rounds to make sure every resident was available for meals and activities. If a resident can't or won't make it for meals, the staff will bring them something to eat in their room. I checked in with the staff on what she was doing when family wasn't there and they were very honest on what was happening. It gave me the opportunity to talk to her and call them to give instructions when she refused to eat. Elder care is not easy, they can be defiant at times, but the staff handle it well. I would recommend this lovely home to anyone looking for a smaller, caring environment.

Our Mom had her last year at Sheridan. We couldn't have been happier with the care she received. We had lunch with her almost every day, and always witnessed a caring and tender group of people interacting with all on the memory-care floor. They are a terrific group, and we are very happy that our Mom finished her life with these amazing caretakers.

Everything has been great and my love one really likes it here. The people are really great and it’s such a nice place. My love one enjoys participating in their activities like the exercise classes and she also enjoys the meals. She even made some friends and she is really happy. Since the property encourages the families to go and visit to eat with them and such we’ve actually met some of the residents as well and they’re great. Our first staff interaction was great, they spent so much time with us in giving us a tour, they explained to us all of their services, they were so helpful, and they were willing to work with us. For my love one this is the best decision we’ve made, I recommend this property to other families that are looking into their options.

Beautiful facility with caring staff.

The director here is just fabulous and kept a close eye on all of the residents. This facility is wonderful and my In-Law was happy here. He really liked when they had bus trips to the casinos. The atmosphere is really welcoming here and the residents are just as friendly. This community is one of the cheaper ones I’ve seen, however, we had to move my Father-In-Law out because we wanted him to be closer to us. I would recommend this facility to other families.

My friend is very very happy here. I am very pleased that she is living each day to the fullest and she is enjoying herself. She has made friends, she has her little dog with her, and she’s comfortable where she’s at. She also really enjoys the food and they provide a variety of choices. They offer 2-3 entrees and they told her if she doesn’t like whats there she could get a salad, sandwich, or burger. However, so far she enjoyed everything that was offered to her. She participated in bowling lessons on the Wii and they told her to get on a team or join a league. This was actually the first place that we went to while looking into our options. After our two hour tour we walked out the door and we ran into a good family friend. He and his 3 sisters have gone to 7 different ones. They ended up settling on this one. They trusted them so much with their mother so we didn’t need to look any further. They did all the leg work that we were planning to do. During our tour we were really impressed. [Removed] took us around and he was very patient with us. We had written down all our questions and he took the time to answer each one. He is very helpful.

Just loved this place! The rooms are spacious with a full kitchen. Plenty of closet space, huge bathrooms and very clean. Friendly staff. [Removed] was lovely and this is the place for my Dad!

I went on a tour at this community and the staff was nice and helpful. He answered all of my questions. It was nice and clean. It had spacious rooms with a bathroom and a kitchenette. And it was a newer building so it was out of our budget. It just wasn't a good fit for my brother. I would recommend families tour before selecting a place.

[Removed], Thank you very much for your assistance. As of this afternoon, we have toured the Barrington of West Chester and Oakley once and [Removed] (the second time with our Son and Daughter). Out impressions are as follows: o [Removed] is the least impressive and may be the most expensive after paying for the utilities not included in their monthly rental o [Removed] is one of the nicest places but we cannot justify their buy-in fee of $188,000 or more o The Barrington of West Chester is too far from both our Son and Daughter o The Barrington of Oakley is nice and has a plus be including three meals per day. However, their lunch and dinner menus contain only two choices which is a bit restrictive o We were quite impressed with the [Removed] with the variety of lunch and dinner entree choices, the variety of their activities, the availability of wine with dinner, and more o We will place a deposit with the [Removed] for an apartment for the spring time-frame. [Removed]

Courtyard Fountains is a very beautiful, well kept community. It's nicely decorated and clean, and [Removed] and the staff there are fantastic. The people there are so warm and personable. The food is very good, and they have a lot of activities. My loved one has only been there for about six weeks, and already, she's warming up to things and getting involved in activities such as pinochle Exercise classes, and outings. We are very pleased so far.

Feels just like home and the staff treat all who enter just like family.

I have absolutely nothing negative to say about The Sheridan. They are excellent. The staff is super easy to work with, and they made it so simple to get my mother settled and comfortable. The services they provide are a big deal for me. I love that they help my mother take her medication, they do housekeeping, and they take care of her laundry as well. The food is good, and they have a lot of activities to keep the residents busy. The apartments are fantastic. I love that they allowed us to move my mother's things in and arrange it just as they were in her own home so she could feel more comfortable. I would absolutely recommend The Sheridan to others. It's an excellent facility.

My mom lives at Barrington of West Chester, we are extremely greatful for the staff making her feel like home. Everyone is very helpful and meets all her needs, making it easy on all of us. I highly recommend Barrington and we couldn't be more satisfied. When mom is happy everyone is happy!

The people who work here are extremely efficient and are very kind to the residents. The food is terrific. the nursing staff goes out of their way to make sure everyone is well taken care off. Everyone on the staff is extremely nice not only to the patients, but to the families as well
