The community made us guarantee our loved one at the beginning and that all cost extra. So the man issue was that there were additional charges due to covid but no refund when our loved one passed.

My first hand (initial visit) was great. Very friendly staff. I have noticed that since my father has been a resident there, communication via phone with the 2nd shift hasn't been good at all. I left a message with a staff person to have [name removed] (Administrator) to give me a call with some concerns that I have, and as to date, I have not received that call, which concerns me. Also I informed the staff that on [date removed], I would be picking up my father to take him to a family viewing and to have him ready by 1:45, no later than 2:00pm. When I arrived, the aide said no one told her about his leaving and she had no idea what was going on. I find this kind of disturbing and think that more communication needs to be done. Otherwise, everything else seems to be going ok

My mother has been doing fairly well in the memory care unit at Copper Springs. She was sharing a room with another lady which was a new experience for her so it did take some getting used to. The staff are friendly, attentive, and appear to be genuinely concerned for the residents. The food appears to be good. My mother is still very active and the memory care unit is a closed unit so I think she gets pretty bored and would like to move around more. My mom says she tries to watch tv but she can't hear it. A sound system might help that They do seem to run out of paper products frequently; paper towels, toilet paper.

There are some unhappy campers at the Sheridan at this time. The residents pay a considerable amount of money each month for their apartments and additional services. At this time, the quality of the food service is a concern. There have been numerous head cooks over the course of the last year. Foods that are posted as being offered at meals are often not available when a resident tries to order their meal. Perhaps further guidance needs to be given to the kitchen staff so that they can adequately order amounts of food. There has been a revolving door with servers, as well. Seniors appreciate consistency and getting to know those who care for them. It would be advisable for the laundry staff to speak to residents about their laundry needs before removing it from one's apartment. There are many positive things happening at the Sheridan from the quality of the facility, its cleanliness, the outstanding recreation director, the friendliness of the employees, and the availability of a van to transport residents to appointments and nearby shopping. I look forward to seeing improvements on the issues I have identified on my next visit to The Sheridan at Tyler Creek.

The meals are sometimes lacking and sometimes too spicy or salty. Other than that the staff and help are outstanding. Everyone is so friendly and eager to help.

A bit more expensive than I anticipated

My mother has been at lakeside vista for almost two years. She started out in building one where minimal care was needed....the staff helped move her in and the process went smooth..I have noticed in two years the food has improved greatly, maybe due to new ownership. Since then, she has declined and is now in building 4 due to dimentia. As her daughter I am there a lot, and I love the interaction between the nursing staff and myself! They seem concerned and caring and overall it’s a very nice place to be!!!

Copper Springs has been good, overall. When we first moved in, we had some issues with lack of communication on the part of the staff, but we had a meeting with them. Since the meeting, it seems they are making an effort to rectify the issues. The caregivers and the food here are both very good, it's a clean place, and they have a lot of activities going on. almost every time a visit, I see people involved in something. Overall our experience here has been positive.

I stopped over to look at Addison, and I thought they were great. The community looked great, and I was able to take a short tour and see some of the rooms. I was worried that they didn’t take state aid however, so I didn’t want to risk moving my loved one here.

We were in a time crunch when we stopped by this community and the staff was kind enough to do a tour for us as they understood our position and were willing to help. I would definitely recommend taking a tour of this community.

This community looked clean when we toured it. It did seem like a darker setting. This community offers assisted living and memory care. We were looking for independent living. I would recommend taking a look at this community to see if it would be right for your loved one.

On my visit to the community , I found they were too expensive. Once we had a meeting and when I got the price, there was no need to tour. They were upfront and professional. They were fine when having the meeting.

The staff are always helpful, they try to meet your needs. There are a lot of smiles and laughter! The facility is well lighted, clean, bright, inviting. Dining area has the tables set with table cloths, stemware glasses, and flowers at all meals. Entertainers come in on the weekend to perform. Some problem with food shortages. My mom and sister are adjusting nicely. Thank you, [Removed].

My mom is struggling to adjust but it is nice community. The staff are willing to make her feel comfortable and they accommodate her with what is helpful. The meals are really well prepared from what I seen during lunch. The plan one big activity a week and have celebration for holidays. For St. Patrick's Day they had Irish dancers perform for the residents.

They offer different levels of care at this community. The staff I met were nice and the community seemed clean. It did not seem like there was a lot of interaction between the staff and residents. They have a smaller memory care unit and unfortunately, the layout of the community would not work for mom. This is a nice community and I would say to take a look at it.

The Sheridan at Tyler Creek was a very nice community to tour, but it was almost too new. Also, the dementia unit is on the third floor, and they have no outdoor space. It was also a bit on the pricey side.

This community was the only one in the area that gave my loved one the chance to live in assisted living instead of memory care. The staff are busy, however they have taken the time to talk with us. I would like a little more feedback on how she is doing on a daily basis. She likes the deserts and the food is ok. They have some variety of food choices. I don't think they are engaging her as much as we would like. They do have a beauty shop on site.

This is a good community and I am thankful to A Place for Mom for giving us a lot of options to choose from. She seems to like the food and there is a beautiful dining room. There are a lot of different activities offered such as church and movie nights. I would recommend this community.

My Mother was at Mangrove Bay for 4 1/2 years. The director and staff were very caring to my Mother. Any time a matter came up, the director always took time to visit with me. I am truly grateful to Jinah and her staff for sharing care to my Mother. Mangrove Bay is a beautiful facility, and I would recommend it.

As a seasoned veteran in healthcare communities, (due to my father) . I find Bayshore to be exactly what we needed. I was incredibly impressed by the care staff and clinicians, as well as the care of my father. Our family is so greatful for the amazing variety of fresh produce, fruits and choices in menu. I absolutely Cannot Thank the kitchen staff enough.Our special THANKS to Valerie, she herself sees to it everyday that the residents are well fed and Happy. Our family is thrilled with our experience. Again THANK You!!!!
