If I were to move my mother, this would be the place. The staff made me feel very comfortable. The only reason I am not moving her is that her current facility is willing to work with me on the financial part.

I would highly recommend this community to others for their loved ones. There is a lot of caring staff and administration. It is a smaller community. Every experience we had was great with the staff.

Governor's Glen has been very much a surprise, they all sound good when they are being interviewed but they have been what they said they would be

The food is really good most of the time and the staff is super friendly. Im happy with our choice to put them at liberty ridge.

Would have been nice if I had been notified of the change in ownership only my brother out of state was notified. With the staff changes since ownership change, I have noticed a lack of communication in some areas and services not the same as when my mom first moved in. I have been thinking about moving her even though she wouldn't like it.

The Executive Director is a very caring, thoughtful and compassionate person. She truly cares about the residents and their families. No place is perfect, but with any facility if the family takes an active role in the care of their loved one then there should be no worries.

It was affordable. They provided a room, comfort, and companionship for my loved one. There was alway someone who was with my loved one. Making sure they were not by themselves was important to me. They could improve on cleanliness, and making sure the rooms are nice, and clean for the residents. Also, they can ensure that the laundry is done in a timely manner.

This is a low key community that has two floors. Everything is accessible in the community. It is convenient for the residents that is close for activities and dining. It truly feels like home inside the community. Some of the activities available include magic shows, music, games, field trips, movie nights, and more for the residents to choose from. There are three meals a day served to the residents, and there are choices for the residents to choose from.

I liked Governors Glen, but they were unable to accept me due to the amount of care that I needed at the time.

I like the community. There are certain rooms that could use some updating. The resident's rooms could also use some TLC. The only activity available for the residents is exercising. It appears the activities are limited, and I'm unsure if this is COVID related.

We chose Governors Glen because it was strictly a memory care facility and very close to my house, that way I could go visit often. She went from a very large room to a single room here, so it was on the smaller side. One big complaint we had was the food. It was not fresh and by the time it was served, it was cold. They served things like hot dogs and french fries and did not offer any condiments to go along with the meals. There were also not a lot of activities that I was aware of at all, and I would pick up the calendar weekly. From what I saw, this facility seemed clean and the staff members were nice, but they were not very interactive with the residents.

Liked the atmosphere and staff seemed engaged. wish they had a nurse on staff.

[Name removed] was very knowledgeable and provided a lot of information to be able to make an informative decision. Everyone we met during the tour was warm, caring and friendly. The entire environment was warm and comforting with a home feeling.

Andrew, marketing staff excellent, but facility well maintained, but nothing stood out..as this is the place.

My mother has recently made the move into this community and so far things are going great for her.The staff have been wonderful to work with and I am comfortable with the care she has been provided. She has had no complaints about the meals and enjoys participating in some of the activities from time to time with the other residents. Overall it has been a pleasant experience so far and I would recommend it to anyone.

It's nice, and mom is adapting well. No major complaints so far. The food is very good, she loves the food. We had Thanksgiving there, and they had it set up very nicely, and the food was lovely, and it always smells delicious.

The Liberty Ridge was very clean and well maintained. The place was fairly new and the staff was very friendly during my tour. My favorite was the sales lady, she had a great personality and was very friendly.

The staff have all been so wonderful to my dad, they make sure that he has transportation to and from his doctor appointments and help organize all of his medications. My loved one is really liking the activities they have going on throughout the day and has no complaints about the food they provide. I would defiantly recommend this community.

I toured this community for my mother, and it went pretty well. My tour guide was kind and helpful. They were informative and answered my questions. The community looked nice and clean, everything looked well-kept. It just wasn't the place for my mother, but it is a nice community.
