We love [name removed] at the front desk, [name removed] and [name removed] are nurses they are great!! We would recommend Savant of Santa Monica to other families who may need a place for their loved ones

Brookdale just seemed like the best overall fit for Dad. It feels like a place he might choose for himself. The others that we looked at didn't feel quite as homey. Plus, I liked the location, which is surrounded by many stores and restaurants. The process was smooth and took off a tremendous weight of concern from our shoulders, this is the best place/home for our loved one.

I was there just a few times as my cousin ended up being the primary contact at that time. Accessibility for entering & exiting was my only peeve as it was often awkward to get her into/out of a car when taking her out. It was also difficult when I would take my mother to visa she uses a walker. I would overall recommend Brookdale Valley View

My father passed away on [date removed]while he was at Pacifica Senior Living. I was lucky to be with him at the very end. I appreciate all the guidance, education and compassion A Place for Mom provided me during this challenging time in my life. Everyone at Pacifica Senior Living was so kind to my father and incredibly helpful to me as I navigated this unfamiliar path of helping my father in his last days. I felt we were treated with respect and compassion across all the coverage shifts. When I left my father at the end of each day, I knew the staff was going to do their best to keep him safe and taken care of. It gave me peace-of-mind knowing someone else was invested in the my father's care as much me.

The people staff at Pacifica are very friendly and helpful. However, there are simply not enough of them. Also, the business office seems very disorganized - especially regarding billing and electronic communications. Overall, Pacifica has been helpful but my father often has to wait a long time for assistance.

There was a huge gap in communication which left my brother with zero care for a week. The care that he received from hospice was very satisfactory, even though he was not the most pleasant and did not want company, but I think his family needed to know more about his care than we were told. There were things we could have been doing for him that we were not aware of. I ended up trimming his toenails giving him lifting him off of his bed and onto his wheelchair and onto the toilet and back again which I'm 75 years old and that was very very difficult for me so I don't know whose fault that was it could've been his fault because he did not want anybody a stranger to touch him.

It seemed like great value when he started there last may, but they added big increases on 1/1 and I worry about the future if their increases continue as large as this year. He has gained weight which is good! He does not participate in the activities. I have only interfaced with a couple of the staff and they have seemed good and receptive with requests. It's hard as I have to fly to visit him so I'm not able to get there very often.

the facility has wonderful caretakers who get to know each residents. The activities director really tries to bring the residents together. The ladies at the front are always very helpful and professional.

It's absolutely perfect for my dad and he is super happy there. Not perfect for everyone. It's a bit run down but he doesn't care: our family is not into fancy stuff. We love the fact that there are so many Chinese people and who speak different dialects and have varied backgrounds. Staff are wonderful. Location is perfect with great restaurants and resources nearby.

Overall experience is a positive. I would not place my mother there, but given my aunt's needs, yes. I wouldn't recommend the facility, however, the fact that parking for visitors is scant an they do not have an area near the entrance that is wheelchair accessible for drop off / pick up. We are not able to comment on the activities - when our loved one entered she was no longer capable of participating in the activities.

We had a great tour experience with Villa De Anza, this facility came in to a close second place for us. The facility itself was very clean and nice, but it was more expensive. As far as long term care goes, it did seem like they were better equipped for additional care if my loved one were to go downhill.

I would recommended it, to family/friends.

I like how many friendly people are here. The community is very clean and the staff are very helpful.

Comfortable and pleasant the Holiday Villa East has a spacious dining room service three meals a day-nothing fancy, but tasty and nutritious with yummy desserts. The upper floor living quarters have balconies, central air, ceiling light and fan, and private bathrooms with attractive, generous cabinetry. Beds are made every morning and wastebaskets are emptied daily. Staff members are friendly and helpful. Coin-operated washers and dryers are available on property and staff members are available to do laundry for a small fee. Medication dispersion is available for an additional fee.

Compared to the big, corporate assisted living facilities, Garden of Palms is much better. We've experienced both, and Garden Palms provides more attentive and focused care. Definitely the environment is smaller, so they have time to pay more attention to each resident. And they just seem to be more effective. The building is not super fancy, but when you walk in, they've done a really nice job of making the lobby very welcoming. It's very neat, clean, and organized. Nothing opulent, but still lovely and satisfactory.

At Lakewood Park Manor you have caregivers who have experience and know what they’re doing. Even with this pandemic they have found a way to have carnivals with 6 feet apart and have made sure their residents have entertainment and fun!

We had a really good tour with Pacifica Senior Living, the only reason we did not choose them was because the rooms here were smaller than another facility we were looking at. But other than that, it seemed great.

The type of are my loved one is in he does not have anyone to talk to being in memory care, the staff are friendly and nice, easy to get ahold of and talk to. I'm very pleased my loved one is here.

We chose Holiday Villa East because of the location, the value for the money, as well as we figured it would be a good fit for mom. The apartment sizes at the facility are good. I think they need to improve on the quality of foods that they serve to the residents. Overall it is an excellent place and staff are really really nice. I would definitely recommend.
