The director, Terry, is very nice and very helpful. My uncle likes the food there. I've sampled the food, and it was good. The diningroom is very clean. The nurses are very nice, and very helpful. They provide transportation to the doctor. They administer his medications properly They clean the rooms. They will deliver meals to his room when he wants it. There are a lot of activities there, but my uncle doesn't really participate in them.

My experience with Arcadia Retirement Village has been good. The staff is friendly, very accommodating, and I'm very pleased with them. Debra, the marketing director was real helpful in smoothing things out. My mother has been there two months so far, and she looks forward to going to lunch, and also to the activities they offer. Being at Arcadia Retirement Village has given my mom a social outlook that she's never had before.

I really love Holiday Villa East. I feel it will be a great fit for my mom.. We're currently in the process of figuring out the timing to transition her. The staff there seemed very friendly, and great. My family really liked the place when we toured it.

I really like Holiday Villa East. The staff is wonderful. The food is really very good. I think for someone like my mother who is 84 and a rather negative person who has to be pushed to do anything, the residence has proven to be welcoming and not at all intimidating to her. She has been there a week and a half and hopefully as more time goes by she will participate in more of the activities. Lupe and Sam are wonderful people and I have no worries about her safety and only hope she takes advantage of this lovely environment.

I moved my parents here from Florida after visiting many places. I needed a Kosher place, which took my parent's long term insurance, close to me. Garden of Palms fit the bill. I love the staff and so do they. They are caring, and warm, and kind. The food is great, and made fresh daily. The front desk is very welcoming. The activities director is great, and goes beyond. The director made it possible for me to move my parents easily, and even furnished their rooms. Yes, rooms. She made two rooms for them. She also helped me greatly with their long term insurance which can be very difficult. It was! The help are really caring, and very diversified. This place allows my parents to stay together, even though my mom has beginning dementia. I can't say enough good things about the Garden of Palms. If you're lucky enough to get in, you won't be sorry.

My father has been a resident at Lakewood Park Manor for just under 2 years. He is very happy there and he was eager to come back to LPM after an extended hospital/skilled nursing stay. LPM has also kept us well informed of my dad’s stay there and encourages family time and togetherness for their residents. The administration, Eli, Becky and Michelle, work to make each resident feel that they are a part of the LPM family and accommodate their needs by offering a variety of services, outings and activities. The care givers and staff are friendly, caring and eager to help. The medications staff are prompt to call if there is an issue or if refills are needed. The rooms and common areas are kept very clean. The food is good and nutritious and there is an alternate menu to choose from if a resident wants something different than what is being served. We would gladly recommend LPM to anyone.

My Mom needs memory care and had to be placed with the secure group as she just wants to go home and she can't. The only negative I have is that because we rushed getting Mom moved in, there were details that got ignored and I am still trying to get all the "Ts" crossed! This is as much my fault as theirs. Otherwise, this place is wonderful! The employees are kind and helpful and the residents are happy! The building is clean, smells great and is cheerful! After touring several, there was no question which residence was best!

Eli Goldman is up front with no surprises. His caregivers are nice people. I and my mom are happy with this place.

They come by my room every week and clean my room whether I need it or not. This was the best value that I can find. They are really helpful here. They have a lot of neat stuff to do. Most of the time I enjoy the food, if I don't like something they will give me alternatives. If you don't get to the meals on time, you can miss out on stuff, that was the one thing that was hard to get used to. I am really happy with it, and I tell everyone they should be here.

We are very happy with them. We really like the staff. From the minute we walked in everyone says hi and wants to know how they can help. They work really hard, and they are always happy to do their job. We are thrilled with the quality of care. Our loved one is not typically one to join in on activities, and here he is, so they are good at engaging him. The food is good as well.

Beautiful community, newly renovated. On a quiet residential street but only minutes from the 55 freeway. The Executive Director has a lot of tenure in the industry and her knowledge of caring for the elderly comes across in speaking to her. Very impressive, she knows her stuff. They only do memory care there, which made me more confident that they are truly focused on providing care to those with Alzheimer's and other memory impairment. Their activities calendar was chock-full of events, and they split certain items up to cater to higher- or lower- functioning residents. I noted that they had Disneyland's birthday marked on the calendar - I loved that! The cost seemed extremely affordable - $3900-$4100 all-inclusive, the only add-on being $450 monthly for incontinence (and they buy all the supplies). They also offer hospice (I think it was a 3-day minimum stay) at $225/day. They have private and semi-private rooms and when you move in, you can choose a different color to paint your room if you want, which I thought was a really considerate way to help new residents feel more at home. The marketing director took us on a tour. She was really nice, very positive, and got along well with the residents. She had started the library there and the corresponding book club, which is the sort of thing I hope to have available when I eventually reach this stage in life. The residents seemed happy and engaged, and more than one approached us to tell us how much they enjoyed it there, which was really nice to hear.

I think it’s a good. There is tons of parking. There are nice outside areas for families and residents to use. It’s a very clean community and we’ve been very happy with the friendliness of the staff. The cost of the community compared to the value received is good. They have lots of activities for residents to enjoy.

I’d have to give them a five. The community is clean and the staff has always been friendly enough. They offer enough activities. The care services are enough to meet our needs. It’s a decent value for the money.

We found the place friendly and clean. Staff was helpful and always smiling.

No complaints from mom or me. So far, after 2 weeks, she is comfortable and content, and I know the staff has something to do with that adjustment period as well. She says the food is good, the activities seem to interest her a little and her apartment is warm and inviting.

So far what I have seen has been most impressive. Mom is not moved in yet (May 1) so these may change but for now, everything is warm and welcoming.

I've really been impressed with the service here, they do everything well! The facility itself is clean and well kept, the staff are all very friendly and professional, and the services they provide to the residents are great. I would recommend it as a place to look into!

Dear Vicky, I realize that I have the pleasure of being able to speak to you at anytime in your office, but I felt that I need to express many thanks to you in writing for the care and attention that you and your staff, mainly Ms. Christina Harris, LVN, have extended for my wife. As you are aware that I came to Meridian from another Assisted Living Facility, because the condition there were not what I expected in Assisted Living, and the clinical care was not adequate if I needed. Meridian has made me feel secure here vs where we were. My wife has progressed with her memory problem, but you took special care until she is placed in a memory care facility. The care that you provide was the first real battle of the condition with my wife. This prompted me to thank both of you and "Care Givers" for this attention. It should be noted that Ms. Harris stayed most of the night personally caring for my wive, also having your comforting assistance during the evening sun downing which included caring for me. Please thank all of the "care givers" for us as they all go beyond "just doing a job".

Attended this tour and was very impressed. We are trying to get her to the location to attend a dance and further tour.

This was a beautiful facility, I could see that the patients were well taken care of. Even though they did not have a vacancy at the time of our tour, Murielle was extremely helpful and spent almost an hour with us. The facility far exceeded my expectations of a memory facility.
