I am not the resident, my dad is. 5 has been my experience so far. From the moving in to adjusting and settling in, they have been great! People have been ambassadors and stopped in to invite my Dad to meals and events. The team that works there has welcomed him and helped as he's adjusted and needed a little support with computer and printer connections. He is really enjoying it there! I had dinner with him on Tuesday. We started with an appetizer then had a salad and after that the main course was linguine with seafood. It was fantastic. Overall he seems to be doing really well and the size of his apartment is working out great for him.

Seemed like a very good option for my father. Clean, modern and staff was great. I think it is important that they have both a skilled nursing facility and assisted living apartments in the same location.

We were impressed with the staff, cleanliness and atmosphere within the building. From the time we entered there was a positive energy and I appreciated other employees asking if they could assist as we waited for the person we were meeting. Great camaraderie between the staff and residents which influenced us to move forward with selecting this place.

The staff really seem to care about the residents. Recently I took my mom to a dentist appointment. The staff knew she would miss lunch. They saved her a meal, and it was waiting when my mom returned. There is a great variety of activities, from physical, to cognitive, to social. The activities director is sure to stop by each residents room to encourage participation We have been very happy with my mom's placement at Whitney Place, Westborough

We find the staff very friendly and helpful. Always smiling and very patient with my mother - who can be a handful at times. The facility is a little tired looking - furniture and other items are kind of old especially compared to some of the other places I saw...just need to look beyond that when touring. My mom raves about the food!

The Director of Resident Care, [name removed] at the Northboro location is a pleasure to interact with and responds to questions/concerns very quickly. Their Sales Director [name removed] [name removed]has great insight for all levels of aging care!!

The service was outstanding and helpful in getting my Dad settled. They made it easy. The facility itself is outstanding and clean. A good move for my dad and the family!

The value for cost is hard to say, very expensive, but I have never used any other, so I have nothing to compare to. At the end of the day, I'm happy with Whitney Place at this point in time.

My mom is in the memory care unit: + 24hr phone access + Administration response to concerns/issues - would like to be more in the know about medical stuff - would like to see more physical activities

My parents moved there a year ago, as I visit often and have dined there many times ...food is good many choices.. staff extremely friendly and helpful.. so many activities for residents.. very clean building grounds are beautiful...

My experience as a family member so far has been excellent. My family member who is in Whitney Place has been there for almost 2 months and he is thriving. He came from a very difficult domestic situation and Whitney Place has improved his life immensely. The staff are all caring, empathetic, friendly, and willing to help all the time. He's busy all day long with the activities he chooses to participate in and he the dining experience very good. He also has the option to make menu choices for himself that may not be planned for that day or time. That is very helpful. I would recommend Whitney Place to anyone who requires help with a family member. Overall, it has been an excellent and extremely positive experience.

It was a pleasure sharing my family’s Holocaust survival story at The Willows. The Engagement Director was very easy to work with, from planning to event set up to checking in with me to be sure I had whatever I needed. She engaged with the residents in a warm and friendly way, which helped set the atmosphere for meaningful event. The tech support person was amazingly helpful.

The move-in was very easy! I did pay additional money for about 15 days to get early access before the official move in date because I wanted to have my Dad, [name removed] room all set up for him, including having a new bed & new recliner delivered right into his room. The staff was very helpful with all of my questions & made the transition very smooth! I am very happy that he is finally in full memory care with aides & RNs that are trained in dementia care that helps him in ways that seem much more effective than when he was in the traditional ALF setting. When I visit my Dad there is always staff around in the hallways & helping other residents, so I feel confident that if any issues arise, my Dad can get help quickly. [name removed] seems to be settling in nicely!

The people there are angels. I have to give them so much credit for doing what they do. The facility is beautiful and clean and so many places to go and play a game or just visit with my mom. I looked at a lot of other places and this is hands down the best!

My aunt loves living there. She is very happy, says the food is good, the aides are wonderful and she is busy everyday with activities which she otherwise would not do on her own. They are for a second time getting an Elvis impersonator for entertainment. She loves Elvis! I myself would chose to live there if I had a choice. Finally, the price is reasonable compared to other places.

Very friendly and professional here. Staff are very accommodating and always have necessary information when asked. Care for my mother in law has been exceptional. [name removed] and [name removed] do a great job! Looking to move my father in law over to Assisted living in May. Food is of great quality. Thank you for providing a safe environment.

My mother appreciates the library and book club, topics club, etc. The resident garden club has multiple rose and flower beds on the property and a lovely plant/flower room on the fourth floor. There is also an active cooking club. There is also a woodworking shop for residents. Of course, there are also exercise classes at multiple levels. The Willows does not have a pool or bowling alley: we did not care about that, but some families might. This is a place of smart, professional adults who want to be intellectually challenged. I will say it is not the most beautiful lobby/ and some of the public areas need to be updated a little, particularly their large activity room/movie theater. However, her unit was the nicest we saw-- and that is what mattered most to her. Also, we were able to customize it for her: choosing cabinetry and flooring in my mother's tastes. The food is terrific as well, and the dining room is lovely. This is one of the older populations I saw in independent living communities, about half are still driving and many utilize walkers. My own parent has a walker. However, it's an exceptionally smart and curious community, still expanding their interests!

The admin and the staff have been very kind and helpful. My family member feels safe and happy.

All 5s!! It's a wonderful community! What I like the most about The Willows is that it is welcoming and friendly people, with many activities. I would absolutely recommend this community to other families!
