Runk and Pratt Senior Living Communities

We toured the Runk and Pratt in Lynchburg and really liked it, but is is substantially bigger. Runk and Pratt had a lot of services that we liked, activities for the residents, friendly staff and respect for the residents.

My sister, who is 12 years older than me, has thrived at R & P, and really has enjoyed her total experience there. She is very extroverted, has participated over the years in nursing home ministries, and is getting loads of enjoyment on many fronts at R & P.

Very clean cheerful place Good care Food could use a little umph

From what our loved one has told us, she seems to be very happy with the meals they serve. We have spoken with the activities director, and they keep the folks busy all the time, either play bingo, or outside creating different things. The value is reasonable, and half the price of a nursing home. A great deal for the money. We are very pleased with Runk and Pratt they have taken great care of our loved one.

The staff are wonderful. The activities are wonderful. My loved one loves it here. The people are attentive. They do special lunches for the residents. There are field trips for the residents to go to. They bend over backwards to help the residents and families. We will be moving to another room because we love it so much. There are rooms that have washer and dryers in them, along with a full working kitchen. They will even do the laundry for the residents. I would recommend the community to others. The staff even took videos for us to see the rooms available at the beginning. They were very supportive with the move in of our loved one. You are now able to see your loved ones in the community.

The community does a great job with communication, if I have a concern they deal with it quickly and let me know when it's fixed. They have been creative with the way we are to visit making rooms with plexiglass and having outside tent visits in the summer. I would recommend this community to others.

I like being here with friends and my husband. The food is good and I get outside on the porch when it's good weather.

It's warm and dry and comfortable and I like their care.

They're real nice! I have no complaints.

It's good, food is not bad. The care has been superb. I'm happy here.

Everything has been fine. I have no objections about my care here. I worked at a nursing home when I was in high school and so I have no complaints.

We support R&P with the decisions that are being made during the covid.

I know you are doing the best you can but for those of us on the outside looking in it is really very hard not to be able to touch our loved ones. I liked visiting in the IL closer to mom and less busy.

Great employees. So willing to help. When I call and Nate answers you feel like he really cares and is always so very pleasant. The ladies that take care of mom treat her so kindly. Thank you.
